The Blind Pig
Secret Location, City Centre South, Dublin

Great spot. Very friendly and helpful staff. Small restaurant so book ahead. Well worth a visit. Rhubarb and orange Collins is to die for. Was very busy so service was a little slow to begin but staff were lovely and very helpful.

Great restaurant. Beautiful cocktails. Great for girls night out.

Beeftro - Dundrum
Pembroke District, Dundrum Town Centre , South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin

Had a voucher so not sure if that effected things. Had the chorizo bread in not at sauce n drench onion soup to start. The bread was ridiculously tasteless. It was just a bread roll in white sauce. The cheese in the soup was over powering n the soup was greasy. Both had steak for main which were only ok. Could have done with a small bit of garnish or something in the Plate. No points for presentation. The honeycomb n walnut sundae was delicious though. So at least meal ended on a high.

Alfies

really nice atmosphere and decor. Great early bird and drinks specials. Though its a bit strange how starters and mains are served at the same time. Look forward to going back here.

Th eonly problem i have with this restaurant is trying to get a seat, the food is lovely and the portion sizes are very reasonable. The deserts are to die for.

The Porterhouse (Bray)

Lovely place to go on a sunny afternoon, but places outside in the sun are generally snapped up very quickly so you can be unlucky. the food is lovely though and they've a great selection of drinks also.

Manifesto
208 Lower Rathmines Road, Dublin 6, Rathmines, Dublin

Really nice feel to the place and the food is good too. The garlic bread you get as a appetiser is beautiful. Wasn't overly inpressed with the pizza's though, the base was difficult to cut with the blunt knives provided. Its not the cheapest place but you get value for your money. The pizza demonstatration was great and really added to the experience.

heard about this place through friends and had to try it out. The burgers were lovely a little pricey but worth it, no need for chips on the side. Its a great idea and kids love the building their own burger.

China Wall
4 Main Street, Celbridge, Kildare

Take away is excellant, prices are reasonable. Got a free chicken curry as we spent over €20 euro. Bit of a waste unless someone is planningon ordering a chicken curry-would be better if they gave free drinks or free desert.

Purple Ocean Restaurant
St Michael's Pier, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

went here for the sunday special its good value but unfortunately a large party of approx 30 had the same idea which meant the service wasn't the best and they had run out of the majority of deserts on the menu which was disappointing as the only ones left were the less desireable ones naturally!

By far one of my favourite places to eat in the city. the early bird menu is second to none! Its extremely popular though so sometimes there might be a ten minute wait, but its definitely worth it. I've been here about 15 times in the past year and i'll continue to go as its such good value.

profile_review
