Bistro 53
Main St, Maynooth, Maynooth, Kildare

Are here last night, you're in for a treat you're planning a visit. I've been out off for a long time. The exterior looks tacky and I don't like the name. Just shows, don't judge a book by its cover. Lovely food, quite upmarket, oysters were the special last night and were delicious. The prices are at the higher end of the scale, but deservedly so, if they continue with excellent food and service. You really feel like you're being spoiled, staff are confident and well trained. It feels like you're on holidays as soon as you step inside! The bar is in the middle of the restaurant which is nice. Gives you a chic urban feel, especially when there's a handsome guy whipping up impressive cocktails! Looking forward to visiting again. We were given complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal which was a very nice touch.

Harte's Bar & Grill
Market Square, Kildare Town, Kildare Town, Kildare

Went here with friends and it was absolutely gorgeous. Lovely exterior to the pub and lovely choice of craft beers. Had pork neck cassoulet for main it was fab. My boyfriend ordered ribeye rare and both myself and the waitress interjected that it should in fact be eaten medium! I had only heard this the day before from Paulo tullio on the radio. She was very well informed and the standard of food was excellent! Will be back.

Wagamama - Stephen's Green
St Stephen's Green Centre, South King St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Wagamama hits the spot every time. Great food, and service with no fuss whatsoever. We were served really quickly and chose from the set menu. An asahi each to wash it down and it came to 39.90- perfect! Would recommend without a doubt! Love it:)

Koh
6-7 Jervis Street, Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin

One of worst dining experiences in a while. 3 of us went for dinner- unfriendly staff- does it cost anything to smile? Also, the place felt draughty. Absolute slop- got served our food within 10 minutes of ordering- never a good sign. Very poor quality of food, you would expect it from a dingy chinese but expected more. 2nd time here, 2nd time bad meal. Wont be back and wouldn't recommend.
