Excellent place for an occasion! Superb melt-in-your-mouth gastro delights with every course as well as 5 star service. Felt a bit limited though as you have to order from a set menu, at a fixed price. Although they had perfect portions for everything, was too stuffed by the end to really enjoy dessert. However, would definitely recommend to anyone.

Reasonable prices and food Their tom yam goong/gai soup never disappoints. Their green curry is a little reminiscent of something preprepared but decent enough. The Pad thai is pretty good too. The best part is that they deliver.

Innfusion Restaurant Cork
Anderson's Quay, Jurys Inn, Cork City, Cork

Mediocre at best Appetizers and main courses were extremely ordinary..dishes that can be had in any regular cafeteria. The pasta was so horrible we couldn't finish it. The fish were probably the best to order of the lot. My dessert of rice pudding with wild berry compote was horrid..enough to put me off desserts a long time! The Bailey's cheesecake and Bailey's chocolate mousse however were certainly redeemable for the rice pudding. Service was quite slow but understandable due to lack of staff and an almost full restaurant.

Eddie Rockets (Cork City Centre)
97-98 South Main Street, Cork City, Cork

The atmosphere was very authentic 1950's America with jukebox and salon style seating. Portions have reduced tremendously since my last visit last year though!

Zanzibaar
34 Patrick Street, Cork City, Cork

Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Huge portions, especially since I had the Zanzi Skyscraper burger, with loads of chips to go with it. Prices were charged accordingly though..and 10-12 euro is way too much for a burger!

Wylam Chinese Restaurant
Victoria Cross, Cork City, Cork

Whilst the atmosphere and food leave a good impression, we had the feeling of being rushed through the meal by the staff to make way for other patrons despite the restaurant being adequately sized. The food is on the pricier than the average Chinese menu, however one has to give credit where it's due..and the crispy aromatic duck happens to be the best I've tasted in Cork!

Captain America's Cookhouse and Bar (Cork)
4/5 South Main Street, Cork, Cork City, Cork

Huge portions that leave you too satisfied. Friendly staff make the dining experience a relaxing one. Tables are well spaced out with various memorabilia to keep one occupied whilst waiting for food. The dishes that our group liked most were the New Yorker burger, scampi, and the large portions of bbq ribs. The highlight of course was the large mug of malt/milkshake! And having a bar with a large selection of cocktails don't hurt either!

Pearl River

Good portions and good variety of food Serves up an array of standard chinese dishes at an affordable price range. Authentic enough. Good kung po dishes. Value for money!

Scoozi!
2-5 Winthrop Lane, Winthrop Street, Cork, Cork City, Cork

Good value for money.. Went for lunch with a few girlfriends here. Salsa wings were served in huge portions, big enough to share. Dessert was fab as well, with huge portions to share! Service was a bit slow as the place was so busy.

Annie's Bar & Restaurant
89 Sunday's Well Road, Cork City, Cork

Nice atmosphere but disappointed with menu.. Had been recommended this place by friends and was pretty excited by the choices in their sample menu online. First thing was that parking was difficult..We were there early so our group had a whole corner to ourselves. I was disappointed early off because the day's menu (they change their menu everyday) didn't really have what I liked. I then settled on the grilled swordfish. The waiter came back then to say that they didn't actually have swordfish today and I had to change my order to something else even less appealing than the choices on the menu. Wine was disappointing as well. Their appetizers were pretty good and if I were to go back, I would consider ordering a few appetizers to replace my main course. Their desserts were however very good, I had the banoffee pie which was unusually light. Thought the dishes were a little on the expensive side, but would have been worth paying for if I had actually gotten what I wanted in the first place. Service was impeccable.

Bombay Palace Indian Restaurant
14/15 Cook Street, Cork City, Cork

Nice cosy atmosphere and reasonable food It was relatively quiet for a Friday night, and we had a corner all to ourselves. Food and service was reasonable although I've had better Peshwari naans (theirs was a bit too hard with not enough filling). The lamb vindaloo was also pretty decent, with enough spice. One of the anoyances though was that rice didn't come with the main meal and had to be ordered separately.

Dolans Restaurant & Bar
Dock Road, Limerick City, Limerick

Great place for dinner before going for a gig at Dolan's Warehouse Have been there multiple times.. Rack of lamb is good and can't say enough praises for the chargrilled monkfish with confit of duck (what a way to combine 2 meats). The steak comes with good recommendations. The fish and chips is pretty decent too. Has great portions. The carrot cake, chocolate cake and apple pie are all delicious as well..although slightly overpriced. Service is a bit wanting though, mostly because it's always so busy. The place is always packed even on most weeknights!

Penz Restaurant - Closed
Ballycummin Village, Raheen, Raheen, Limerick

Went here after work one weekday evening and enjoyed the early bird menu. Had the mexican chicken enchilada which was delicious and extremely filling. Could have used more spice though. Some of the others in the group had the steak which came highly recommended. Their regular menu looked quite good too. The atmosphere was nice as well, very relaxed and quiet as we were in relatively early for dinner.

Wilton Willow
Leslie's Cross, Wilton, Cork, Wilton, Cork

Cosy Chinese restaurant in Wilton, serving good Chinese food I would recommend the crispy aromatic duck as a starter, as it's interesting to make into little rolls and quite light as well. Most of the mains are pretty decent as well. It is a little pricier than the other chinese restaurants in town though and unfortunately I think that this restaurant's food used to be better a few years ago. However the restaurant has a great atmosphere, and the owner is very friendly as well. It does also have a convenient takeaway service, although delivery would have been better!

Luigi Malones (Cork)
1-2 Emmet Place, Cork City, Cork

Went to Luigi's for a birthday with a big group and was severely disappointed by the service. On making our reservation, they told us that they wanted us out by 10pm, but the service was so slow that our desserts weren't even served until past 10! We repeatedly had to ask for our dishes-all starters, mains and desserts..and the numerous staff didn't even look all that busy especially after 9pm! We ordered from the early bird menu..which is nice that they served all night on Fridays. It had a rather poor selection, and my prawn espetadas were extremely disappointing as they were tasteless and the shell was stuck fastly on the prawns.

Cornstore
40 Cornmarket Street, Cork City, Cork

Visited the cornstore for a birthday. Didn't have the early bird menu although they had very good deals with wines on. The mussels were a great starter, served in a cute wok. I had lobster and prawn risotto as a main which was pure indulgence. The sweet toffee pudding was heavenly as a dessert! Service was excellent as well despite it being very busy for a Monday night.

Hamptons Grill
Henry Street, Limerick City, Limerick

Went here for a work night out, had to book in advance even though it was a weeknight! Food was great though, had a rack of lamb which turned out to be the best lamb I've ever had. Dessert was tiny shotglass size but yummy. Food was generally overpriced but sinfully delicious. I would definitely recommend, as well as be back for more.

Ruen Thai Restaurant
71/72 Patrick st (Above Boots Chemist) Cork, Cork City, Cork

We visited here as a large group, and the staff were very attentive to our needs. We ordered from the set menu, which was certainly good value compared to their regular prices, which was overpriced. Our group agreed that their tomyam goong soup was a bit too salty, but my main of cashew nut and chicken in a spicy sauce was pretty good. Their pad thai had huge portions. Atmosphere was nice enough although the decor does not seem authentically Thai. I wouldn't particularly be too keen on going back

An Sugan
41 Wolfe Tone Street, Clonakilty, Cork

Great seafood with good portions! We chanced across this place on the recommendation of the tourist centre in Clonakilty and I have to say, this is the best seafood I've had in Cork, at reasonable prices and very good portions. I had a scrumptious Crab bake dish (special of the day), which had loads of crab, my friends had huge portions of mussels (literally a mountain of mussels) for 12 euros and 2 big pieces of cod for fish and chips. Everything was very fresh, and we thought it was very good value for money. There was a less ample choice of appetizers though and service wasn't great. We had to ask for the complimentary bread and butter; and had to ask twice for some ketchup. However I would still recommend it to anyone visiting West Cork as the seafood trumps the poor service.

Milano (Cork)
8 Oliver Plunkett st, Cork City, Cork

Good casual Italian food Didn't need a booking as there was ample seating space for our party of four. The atmosphere was quite casual with simple decor. Staff were mostly Italian, which added to the authenticity and were quite prompt in taking our order. My previous visit here though I had problems getting the waitress to actually get our order. I had a very delicious canelloni served in a little wok amidst yummy pasta/cheese sauce and cleverly slightly charred at the edges but moist in the middle. I would definitely go back!

Wagamama (Cork)
4/5 South Main St, Co City, Cork City, Cork

Poor value for money. Being Asian, I'm very particular about my noodles and found wagamama's noodles so tasteless that I had to add loads of soysauce. I can definitely make better noodles myself! Service wasn't great either!

Tastee Chinese Restaurant
Main Street Ballincollig, Ballincollig, Cork

Tastee was recommended by a friend and it certainly lived up to expectations! We sampled a variety of chicken, lamb, fish, prawn and vegetable dishes from the chef's specialties on the menu and was very impressed with the quality of the food (which the same cannot be said for most Cork city Chinese restaurants). The chef even served us a complimentary dish! Being Asian, we thought the food was indeed authentic. It was also great value for money as within a group of 5 and 5 dishes we ended up paying about 20 euro each. Parking was very convenient just outside the restaurant, although its entrance was quite obscure..you would hardly know there was a restaurant upstairs! My only peeve is that it does not deliver to the city centre. I would definitely revisit Tastee.
