If you want to impress someone special with amazing food....this is the place. If I could give the food 6 out of 5 I would! I had the Large Dover Sole here (E45) and it was the best piece of fish I have ever eaten. I couldn't afford to go here every nite of the week but if I could I'm sure I would. They also had a great wine selection and we chose a spectacular bottle of white at the 25 euro price range so their cheaper wines are great too. Its a very special place that's well worth a visit for an occasion.

Jamie's Italian
Pembroke District, Dundrum Shopping Centre, Dublin 14 , Dundrum, Dublin

I came here with my girlfriend hoping it would be a nice place to go for her birthday and we ended up walking out before we could order. Things that were wrong: 1/ Its cramped, unremarkable and definitely not worth queueing up outside 2/ Staff were grumpy and when I asked them to move because it was my girfriends birthday, they said no! 3/ We never got a wine list and the menu was nothing special 4/ The food was massively overpriced especially when compared to other high end establishments nearby I gave the food 4 because I ended up not eating here (1 point deducted for a small, uninteresting, overpriced menu)

Roly Saul The Restaurant
The Mill House, Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

Brought my Girlfriend here for its name and hpoefully for its classiness and wasn't let down. I was greated by friendly staff and lots of choice. Chose a fantastic Gewurztraminer though the staff were unable to tell me anything about the wine. Our starters were fantastic and my Girfriend loved her main. I ordered breaded fish by accident which I don't like so much, though I still finished it. We were the last in the place and they never once rushed us. Great food, great and intimate atmosphere, loved the wine menu, would definitely go back. We had originally booked into Jamie Olivers new restaurant and thought it was a bit drab and not special, and so walked out. Roly Saul was much more upmarket, and was still *less* expensive than the very unremarkable Jamies so that made it even better!

Yamamori Sushi, Tengu
38-39 Lower Ormond Quay, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

My favourite place has gone south dramatically!!! Avoid! I organised a work party for 10 here in the private room and had to wait 20 minutes and go find staff to complain about being ignored 3 times before getting a jug of water or a waiter near us with a menu!! Food took forever to arrive (I eat here regularly and this was a new record) and hot dishes were cold. Even worse, after giving yamamori 750 euros worth of business I go try to book a private room from senior staff for my party later and was insulted by them!! .....never again guys, you dont treat long serving and heavily loyal patrons this way. Zero stars for a reason...ja mata ne

Michie Sushi (Ranelagh)
11 Chelmsford Lane, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin

Michie is a small hidden gem of a restaurant that is well worth making the effort to find. It has just won a bridgestone award which makes it one of the top 100 restaurants in the country! Super fresh sushi made to order right there (which is tough to find in Ireland) and I would easily rate this sushi as the best in Ireland...and I used to live in Japan. One on the only sushi places to deliver and is open really late too. This place is my favourite weekend treat to myself!
