I went here for a birthday dinner based on the good reviews and I'm so glad I did! It was one of the nicest meals out I've ever had. To start I had the goats cheese, the presentation was so good I nearly didnt want to eat it. My boyfriend had soup (asparagus) which was also lovely and there was a nice selection of fresh breads. For mains I had the steak which was gorgeous and cooked perfectly. He had the venison, which he enjoyed. We also had lemon tart, and the ice cream. Overall very enjoyable, the only downside being that it was very very quiet. The menu is great value at 28pp including half a bottle of wine and the service was very good. I hope to return in the future!

Copper & Spice Restaurant
Above The Mill Bar, Anncotty Village, Annacotty, Limerick

Ate here last night for dinner on the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed. Myself and a friend had the lamb curry and mekhani chicken with one rice and one garlic and coriander naan. The mekhani chicken is like tikka masala but nicer, everything was delicious in particular the mekhani chicken. Naan was a bit thin but still tasty. The decor was lovely and the service good.a The restaurant was very quiet but there was still a nice atmosphere. I will recommend and return when in Limerick again.

Alfies
10 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Visited here the week before Christmas with two friends and we had a great night. My friends were half an hour late but despite being really busy we were not rushed at all when they did arrive. A good selection of cocktails are €5 which is great and they were delicious! We shared nacho's to start, plenty in one portion for three and we all had the fillet steak for main. All three were to be cooked differently and there was no problems. The atmosphere was great, only slight problem was that we were seated right beside the kitchen, I would request a table away from it when booking again as it is open and very noisy and busy but otherwise it was a great night.

Le Bon Crubeen
81-82 Talbot Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Visited this restaurant for lunch as I was working in the area for the day. The restaurant section was full so we sat in the bar, which was really nice and actually full of character. The lunch portions are quite big and good value, we both had paninis with fries although one portion of fries is enough between two. Service is quick for lunchtime and the staff were friendly and helpful. I will return when in the area again.

Sheries Cafe Bar
3 Lower Abbey Street, City Centre North, Dublin

I have been here a few times for lunch and the food is always very tasty and for lunch time ther service is quick. The duck wrap in particular is lovely and comes with chips or salad so quite a large portion. The only negative about this place is the price, for the area and for what it is the food is overpriced however with a shortgage of decent places around they can get away with it. I will continue to return despite this downside.

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Myself and three friends came here last Thursday, the place was busy at 6.00 and we were told they needed the table back by 8.00. We all ordered off the early bird opting for two starters and two deserts. Nachos to start were tasty and a very big portion. For mains two of us had the garlic chicken, both our dishes were over done and the two fillets each is too much, we both left a full one. Others had ceasar salad and chicken piri piri which was tasty but quite spicy. Deserts were both very nice, and we had plenty of cocktails to wash it all down! Overall the service was good, our waitress was very friendly but we were waiting about 40 minutes for mains. Drinks are good value with cocktails at €5 but your only allowed two each at this price. This would put me off returning. We had a very enjoyable evening and didn't end up leaving until 9.30 but I wouldn't be in a rush to return as you get get the same atmosphere with better food elsewhere. Loyalty card is a nice touch.

Koh
6-7 Jervis Street, Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin

I love this place, have been twice and both times really enjoyed everything about it. This time my friend and I availed of the early bird which is great value. We planned to have the 3 courses but could only manage two! We had satay chicken and spring rolls, the satay was very tasty. For mains we had a red curry and a green both with chicken and they were both delicious. The cocktails here are great and the service is excellent. Both times I have been the manager (possibly owner) has been very personable and friendly on arrival which is always a nice start to an evening out.

Douglas and Kaldi Restaurant
1 Ashtown Square, Rathborne Village, Ashtown, Dublin

I eat here a lot for lunch as I work in the area. Food is ok, quite expensive for what it is and the service (unless the owner is there) is usually terrible. Far too slow for lunch break when people need a quick turn around. There is usually a group of 4 of us and we usually all get our lunches at least 5 minutes apart. Invariably chips that are ordered and paid for never arrive. When the service is good it is a nice place to go and the food is quite tasty. The vegetarian breakfast is very good and served until 4

Ate here with a large group and we all availed of the early bird (which was actually on all night) excellent value and choice, everyone was happy with their meals. Service was quick and the cocktails were gorgeous. A new favourite in Limerick!

Thai Garden Restaurant

Had been meaning to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint. To start my friend and I shared the won tons which were very tasty. I had red beef curry and she had vegetable penang which was gorgeous! Will definitely be back. The two early birds are very good value.
