Really surprised, this place was great. Went in last week for a late dinner and it was great. Waiting staff friendly and attentive. Simple food done really well. Fish and chips, fish was really fresh, nice mushy peas. Honey and Sesame Chicken wings, really tasty and great flavour on the sauce. Whatever way they were cooked, it was nice to have wings that weren't greesy and overcooked. I'll definitely pop in again.

The Bay @Walters 50/50 deal is bloody brilliant (having said that the regular prices are quite high anyway). But still great value for money. The food is delicious: sea food chowder, hard to get wrong but still fresh lovely big chunks of fish happy days!! Steak was delicious, cooked perfect for me anyway. Friend got the same, for the price you can't go wrong. Cheese Board: great selection but a bit on the small side for me. Atmosphere and Staff: This is where it loses out, not very friendly staff although they were very nice when I broke a glass (sorry!!). A good spot, good food, and great value for money I would go back for sure!

The Three Tun Tavern
1-5 Temple Road,, Carysfort Avenue,, Blackrock, Blackrock, Dublin

Amazing value for food and it's great to see the old Tonic bar back occupied. I had the korma and it was horrible, microwaved ready made meal. Came with a piece of Naan that was cold. I think they were having some teething problems on the service front, because it was non existent. I would go back again for the great value and maybe we got unlucky on the service!

Aussie BBQ
5 South Richmond Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Went in here randomly for lunch and it was bloody beautiful. Great juicy delish burger. It was really good value. Very chilled atmosphere. The sauces on the table were really tasty. My mates chicken wings were pretty nice, but were a little on the small side. All in all, a great spot, I'll be back for the big burger! (Staff really friendly too)

Fade Street Social - The Restaurant
Drury Street , City Centre South, Dublin

Food was bloody delish, the soup was great with a bit of white pudding and the rabbit was good too. service was great. But the portions were too small. Just because it's fancy food doesn't mean you have to be stingey on the amount of grub on your plate.

Great pizza, grand service (adorable), it's well worth it and good value. The Parmesan was lovely and the salad was delightful.

Gourmet Food Parlour Dun Laoghaire
7 Cumberland Street, Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

The best place for good quality food in Dunlaoghaire!!! Have been a couple of times for big lunches and you just can't complain. Right so staff: Young, good craic, brilliant service!! And they were working hard because it was busy!! Value: not the cheapest for lunch but it's well worth it for what you are getting. Food: The fish platter, awesome, so fresh, lovely selection of dips. It was massive too. Exactly what I wanted (calamari, scampi, prawns in just the right amount of batter). And lovely presentation. My friend got a sambo, decent sambo but he was jealous!! We split the cheese board, great selection beautifully presented. Again great selection if dips and nice warm bread. Looking forward to going back for the tapas!! An absolute gem in Dunlaoghaire. (The waiting staff are an absolute credit to this place)
