Everything i have ate from here has been delicious, hopefully it will step up the standard in other restaurants in Athenry.
Il Vulcano
High Street, Westport, Mayo
This place was recommended to me by a local person. The food was lovely. Friendly staff. I hope to go back again soon.

The Huntsman Inn
College Road, Galway City, Galway
Incredibly disappointed today. The dinner of two halves. Lazy food was handed out, the batter was not fully cooked on my fish, chef didn't turn it while cooking and felt it acceptably to serve. My chips were a mix of cooked properly and over cooked. I go here because it's consistently good, but not today. Lazy.

Pichet
14/15 Trinity Street, Dublin , City Centre South, Dublin
Excellent, fresh, clean, tasty, reasonable, relaxed. Struggling to find anything I didnt like. Real quality food and service.
Mitchell's Restaurant
Market Street, Clifden, Galway
Just perfect. Super fresh, super friendly. I havent posted a review in a while...this place is worth a mention. Go there.

Greenacres Restaurant
Selskar, Wexford, Wexford Town, Wexford
Very good standard. The whole experience was enjoyable. The wine bottles and the cheese had me sold on the place before I ate a bite. The food was lovely, the sides of veg were a bit of a non event, I’m struggling to find anything else wrong. Other than that, everyone seemed very happy with what they were served. The staff made you feel very welcome, service was great, no delays, no problems. Highlight for me was the rabbit, extremely tasty..

Scottys Steakhouse
Cuirt na Coiribe, Headford Road, Galway City, Galway
Scottys know their stuff. What they do, they do well. I cant see how anyone could improve these burgers. HUGE Portions too. The Staff are on the ball. 10/10 for gourmet burgers. Well done.
Cactus Jacks Galway
Courthouse Lane, Galway City, Galway
Good Food, big portions. I havent had a bad meal in there yet. Its just too pricey. Over €9 for a mojito. These guys still think its 2007, the number of empty tables showed it. Its a pity because it has great athmosphere when busy. I guess I will continue with my love hate relationship and start saving for my next visit.

The Tribes Restaurant
John Glynn's Clayton Hotel, Galway City, Galway City, Galway
Good Hotel, there is a bit of athmosphere in the bar and the staff were friendly. They reccomended a special, beef stroganoff. I was sold on this and my companion had chicken. we were served about 5 mins apart, with one dish getting cold. The place wasnt overly busy, just felt the staff wernt on the ball. The stroganoff was very dissapointing, more like a stew with rice. We got coffees the same time as the table beside us and we noticed that they had got a couple biscuits on the side, and we hadnt. I call a staff member over to ask for our little biscuits and was told "Oh, they are Regulars" I hope the next time I go back things improve.

FXB Monkstown
3a The Crescent Monkstown, South Co. Dublin, Monkstown, Dublin
Without fail, everytime. I love this place. Steaks are excellent. Quality meat. Staff are excellent, I asked for a steak that wasnt on the lunch menu and the accomdated me. I love the art work for sale around the place, it makes the bar and amusing place to eat. I try to get to monkstown everytime I am in Dublin. oh yeah...creamed spinach! Yum.

China Castle
58/59 Middle Abbey Street, City Centre North, Dublin
Busy spot. Like the comments previous, tables are close together. But if your looking for value then you in the right place. Choice was grand, I would have preferred food to be warmer, but I enjoyed what I had very much. Ideal place to take a break from the shopping but not for a relaxing dinner. I would be happy to eat here again.

Monroes
Upper Dominick Street, Galway City, Galway
Pizza Heaven. Staff were very friendly and a bit of craic. Great athmosphere, I go here as much as I can.

The Blue Bayou
Raheen Wood Hotel, Athenry, Galway
I ate in the bar today for lunch. I didnt think much of the place in the past. But today there was a varied menu. I did think the prices were high for a lunch menu, it didnt represent good value. But its getting increasingly difficult to find someplace in Athenry to eat a good lunch. But this was one of them, the food was excellent. Good ingrediants, quality meat. If was to get this standard everytime I would be happy.

Asian Tea House
15 Mary Street, Galway City, Galway
Excellent Food. Very impressed. Menu was more adventurous than alot of Chinese Restaurants. Worth a visit.

The Acorn @ Castle Oaks Hotel & Riverside Mews
The Acorn Restaurant, Castle Oaks Hotel & Riverside Mews, Castleconnell, Castleconnell, Limerick
We had a group booking. The menu hadnt much imagination but the food was cooked to perfection. Large portions. Everyone was happy. The Service was faultless.

La Rustica
North Gate Street, Athenry, Galway
Arguably the best pizza I have had outside of Italy. Casual Dining experience. The staff were friendly.

Brannagans (Galway)
Above The Townhouse Bar, Quay Lane, Just across from the Spanish Arch, Galway City, Galway
We had a large group 18 people, The staff were very accommodating, they even opened early for us. I couldn’t fault the food…excellent. There was a good range of choices. Food came out on time. Respectable choice of wines on offer. We all left very happy and didn’t feel like we were taken for a ride with the bill either! I'd go back.

Marco Polo not live
O'Connell Street, Limerick City, Limerick
Was there on 11th july. Great athmosphere. Pizza was great. Great choice on the menu. Good service too. I will go back.
Da Tang Noodle House
2 Middle Street Mews, Galway City, Galway
I had the Take out Lunch Special today. I have to say I thought it was delicious. The food was cooked really well, and very fresh. The service was lovely. But just as important I felt I got value for money, at €6:50 a bargain lunch for Galway City Centre.
McSwiggans
3 Eyre Street, Woodquay, Galway
Great Steak again and again and again. I can never resist the garlic potatoes. Lovely.
