Been a while since we've been here but have heard fantastic things about their Roast Beef on Sunday's.Have to say that it was fantastic, beautifully cooked Roast Sirloin with the best Yorkshires we've ever had and real horseradish sauce!! A huge plate of Quality and for only €17, a steal!! Will be back soon for more, well done to all at the Monk.

The Hungry Monk

Visited here on Easter Sunday with my family and have to say that we could not fault anything. Three of us has the Roast Beef and we all agreed it was as good as we have eaten anywhere and the Yorkshire Puddings were amazing. I was too full for dessert but my sons Chocolate Fondant looked and tasted great. Can't wait to return.

Captain America's Cookhouse And Bar
44 Grafton Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Ate here recently with my family and have to say was very disappointed. Starters were just ok, presentation was very lacking. The mains were awful, mainly burgers..tiny, burnt and tastless and not particularly cheap! There was a great atmosphere however but certainly did not make up for the quality of the food.

The Garden Cafe @ Avoca Mount Usher Gardens
Mount Usher Gardens, Ashford (off N11), Ashford, Wicklow

Was here earlier today for breakfast and must say they do a great breakfast. I always go for the organic scrambled egg and bacon with great brown bread..yum and my wife always goes for the Granola with mixed berries, honey and yogurt. With the relaxing atmosphere, lovely staff and good food ,it is well worth a visit next time you are passing.

Roly Saul The Restaurant
The Mill House, Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

Was in Dundrum shopping with my wife recently and decided to pop into Restaurant Roly Saul as we used to love Roly's in Dun Laoire. It was early evening and there was a lovely buzz to the place. We were given a very warm welcome by the waiting staff. As it was a flying visit we just had a couple of mains. I had the Orkney Halibut which was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. My wife had the fishpie which was full of chunky fish with a lovely potato gratin topping. We just had a glass of house white each(wine list is very reasonably priced and has something to suit all pockets). All in all, a great meal in fab surroundings. Cant wait to get back.

Milano (Dun Laoghaire)
1 Harbour Square, Crofton Road, South Co. Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Went in here on a Wednesday with my parents for a quick pizza. We all enjoyed our pizzas which were lovely and light, very fresh and packed with flavour. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Only small complaint was that the place itself was a little cold with all the glass windows. Will definately be back however!

Scent Garden Restaurant (Greystones)
1 Main Street, Greystones, Wicklow

Have eaten here on a couple of occasions and have to say the food is very mediocre. Staff however are very friendly and can't do enough. Wouldn't be rushing back.

Sika Restaurant
Powerscourt Hotel Restaurant & Spa, Powerscourt, Wicklow

Had a visit here last week for a family birthday. Food was excellent and service was very attentive with loads of staff. Atmosphere was lacking however and the prices are way over the top but ok for a special occasion. Crab and lobster ravioli is fab!!!

Chakra by Jaipur
1st Floor, Meridian Point, Church Road, Greystones, Wicklow

We are regular visitors to Chakra and it never fails to disappoint us. We were there over the Bank Holiday and it was busy enough early, it seems most diners were there for the early bird as it emptied out at about 8pm. There are a number of new menus and the food was great as usual. It is a little pricey for the a la carte but worth it for a special occasion. Keep up the good work!

The Hungry Monk
Church Road, Greystones, Greystones, Wicklow

We decided to go to the restaurant upstairs for my wife's birthday. The atmosphere here is always great, warm and cosy with the candles and decor. We were made feel very welcome on arrival which is always nice. My wife had a Fillet steak which she said was perfectly cooked and really tender. I had their fishpie which was also great, big chunks of fish that you could tell were really fresh. We both had Sticky Toffee puds which were divine!! We were recommended a bottle of Red wine which was on Special, it was just ok but was only 22euro. All in all a great night and will be back soon..
