There was three of us celebrating a birthday. It was a Saturday night and I did try to book a table but you are not allowed to reserve. The restaurant was pretty busy and we waited at the bar for about 40 minutes for a table. We had 10 tapas between us which were fantastic (patatas bravas X2; meatballs X2; froe grais burgerX2; chorizo and onion; aubergine and goats cheese; prawns pil pil and the green salted peppers. I had two glasses of Spanish cava which could be described in one word as 'perfect'.The others had a bottle of Spanish beer and an non alcoholic beer. There were three desserts also, the churros with hot choclolate; the fudge cake and the ferreo rocher chessecake. The bill came to a pleasant 97 euro.If I could make a big suggestion to the restaurant, it would be to improve the service! I understand it was a busy Saturday but nowadays with so many good deals around I think the could up their game. In saying that I will return but not at the weekend.

Hogs and Heifers
South Quarter Airside, Swords , Swords, Dublin

Extremely disappointed. We order the meat platter (as it came recommended as one of their specialty dishes) and the taste and quality was very poor. The service was excellent and friendly but the food is a big big let down.Have no inclination to return again.

The Mint Leaf Swords
18 Main St, Swords, Swords, Dublin

We had a voucher bought on this site for two steaks on a stone for €22. Was just okay. Thought it was outrageous to charge €3.50 for a side order of sauteed onions especially as it was a small portion too. Will not return. There is definitely nicer places with better value to get steak in Swords!!!

The Old Schoolhouse (Dublin)
Coolbanagher Church Road, North Co. Dublin, Swords, Dublin

We ate here last Monday. It was surprisingly very busy for a Monday, we were not expecting that!We were too late for the early bird but the bar menu was reasonably priced with a good selection to choose from. We will return here, it was perfect for what we wanted!

Siam Thai (Malahide)
1 The Green, North Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

I ate here yesterday for a friend's birthday. We chose from the early bird menu which was excellent value. I am a returning customer to Siam Thai Malahide as it never disappoints.Delicious food, one of the best Thai restaurant around!

Bel Cibo Smithfield
Unit 11 Block A, Smithfield Market Square, Dublin 7, Smithfield, Dublin

My husband and I met another couple for dinner on Sunday. Each couple had a menupages deal, 3 courses for €34.99. The portions were big and the food was good. The pizzas looked delicious. However, we ordered pastas and burgers. This was worth the deal purchased and I would return again.

The Italian Corner
23/24 Wellington Quay, Dublin City Centre, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

I ate here at lunch time last Thursday with my mother and brother. I had a Grab One voucher to the value of €40. It has been a long time since I ate in an Italian restaurant in the city centre and we were not disappointed!!!! The food was excellent and I will be returning again. I would like to try their lunch time deal between 12-4 pm, 2 courses €10.95 or their early bird menu €18.95.I am delighted I have found a superb Italian with such a great location!

The Ivy House
114 Upper Drumcondra Road, Drumcondra, Dublin

Absolutely fabulous meal! My husband and myself arrived after a shopping trip to Dublin city centre last Thursday. The menu is quite extensive and we found it pretty hard to decide. He had the Mexican burger with hand cut fries. It was delicious. I had to sample it as he said it was the best homemade burger he had ever tried. We have tried a few!!!!!There was chili beef on top of the meat-delicious. I had the chicken Thai curry with half rice and half hand cut fries. It was also very very tasty. You get a free drink with the majority of the meals, which was an added bonus. I have been here before and I have tried wings. They are extremely good and a decent size portion too. I will no doubt return here. Very satisfied customers in terms of food quality, value for money and atmosphere!

Yum
87 Camden St, City Centre South, Dublin

I had a grabone voucher for 2 burgers and 2 sides. We were pleasantly surprised with the vast range of burgers on the menu. We went for the smoke burger with handcut fries and a portion of salad (penne pasta with olives) of your choice and the green jalapeno burger with the handcut fries and a portion of salad (chorizo and bean salad). They were big filling homemade burgers with lots of filling. However, I was a bit disappointed with the green jalapeno burger as I assumed it would be mexican jalapenos melted onto the burger as the menu suggested. This was not the case. There was a green raw chilli inside the bun with all the other toppings. Nevertheless it was tasty and I would return there again, if I was that side of the city. The deal was great value!

Masterson's Steakhouse & Wine Bar
17 Main Street, Swords, Dublin

Usually I am not a fan of Mastersons having eating there many times, particularly the early bird downstairs. I was pleasantly surprised when we received a voucher and had a wonderful dining experience. Downstairs was full and so we were seated upstairs. We chose from the al la carte menu, surf and turf on a hot stone with all the trimmings and a fillet steak with all the trimmings (fries, onions & pepper sauce). The food was very tasty, the atmosphere was much warmer and romantic than downstairs. We shared a dessert and I had two glasses of white wine which were lovely (the house wine). Our voucher was for 75 euro and so we did need to put 10 euro to the bill. Overall a lovely experience, however, expensive for what we usually pay for a meal. If I was eating there again I would make sure it is upstairs and from the al la carte menu.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK Swords)
Pavillion Shopping Centre, Malahide Road, Swords, Dublin

Food was delicious. We went for the meal deal, a burger, fries and drink for a tenner! We also ordered the fried onions rings between us as a starter, they were half price at 1.50euro. There was no atmosphere even though there was a god buzz in the shopping centre (it was a Wednesday evening). Definitely cheap and cheerful. We will return again for convenience and value for money and food.

Gilbert & Wright Swords
Unit 14, The Plaza, Swords, Swords, Dublin

The steak meal deal is excellent value and super quality of food. For 10 euro between 4-9pm daily (I think), you get a decent size striploin steak with chips or wedges, fried onion rings and pepper sauce.I was a bit skeptical but the food was fab. I have had this deal twice and both times I could not fault it! Will be returning here :)

Wrights Findlater Howth Restaurant
Findlater House, North Co. Dublin, Howth, Dublin

A little bit disappointing as they have slightly changed their menu. Having eating here a few times before I was looking forward to a particular starter dish, a spicy tomato sauce with hot goats cheese and pitta bread on the side. It was not longer on the menu. I decided to sample the chicken wings which were fine, nothing special. I have now tried and tasted a lot of chicken wings around Dublin and these ones would not make my rating :( They were presented lovely though. I will return here but probably eat upstairs and check their menu first!!!!

Chilli Banana

Delicious excellent value early bird.If I was to make one suggestion it would be that early bird diners would get some prawn crackers when they sit down!I am a regular here to this restaurant & I will be returning again for their yummy chicken pangang curry with noodles!Delish

Texas Steakout
116 O'Connell Street, Limerick City, Limerick

We had booked a table via menupages and when we arrived a little early, our table was ready. The restaurant was busy, being a Saturday night, and there was a great vibe! It was definitely a little too warm inside and I gathered it was because it was full to the brim. My husband and I were not over hungry, so we decided to share nachos for starters and the Mexican Combo for two. This consisted of chicken chimangas, chicken and beef fajitas and beef tacos. It came with a selection of sauces, tortilla wraps and a small portion of Mexican rice. The menu had a great selection of burgers and steaks for the hungry!!! We got a bucket of beer (6 mixed for 20 euro) and we asked for Corona which wasn't listed for the bucket deal. The waiter gladly obliged which was brilliant. We had no room left for dessert or tea/coffee. The bill came to a modest 53 euro. We would return and recommend this restaurant.

Eastern Seaboard
1 Bryanstown Centre, Dublin Road, Drogheda, Louth

Wow Wow Wow......I've been dying to try this restaurant & did at last. We were lucky to get the last table available at 6pm. We had chicken wings for starters between 2 adults & a child. The children's menu is very good value & the burger was homemade. It went down a treat. My husband had lamb shank which fell off the bone it was so tender. I had a chicken caeser salad with bacon & that was delicious. We added two cokes & two glasses of the wine to the our order. Our bill to 55euro which I thought was excellent value for the quality of what we ate. We also got complimentary hot bread with pumpkin seeds before our starters which was also gorgeous. I would return here for sure & I would highly recommend it.Yummy :)

The Port House
64a South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend. We went in for lunch on a Saturday, early afternoon. We were immediately very impressed with the inside, cave-like, surrounds & how big it actually was. This is very deceiving from the outside. We ordered a selection of different tapas between my husband & myself. They were fabulous. He had a beer & I had a gorgeous cava mojito. I would come back here especially at night time to experience a night out vibe. Would recommend this restaurant as well to others.

The Snail Box
Kilmoon, Ashbourne, Meath

There was a group of 33 of us for dinner on Friday night. We had a three course for 30euro. Having been to The SnailBox before, I knew to opt for the steak, as that's what its famous for! I started with chicken & bacon caesar salad, for the main sirloin steak with pepper steak, chips & veg and for dessert the meringue nest with fresh fruit. This was an absolutely perfect meal, cooked just to my liking even though we were such a big group. Will return here any day, well worth it. They also had a free bus service for us too, which brought us back to the Swords area.

Wrights Findlater Howth Restaurant
Findlater House, North Co. Dublin, Howth, Dublin

My other half and I popped in here unplanned for a bit of lunch on Christmas Eve. He had the scampi & chips, which to die for.The scampi was so fresh & the chips were hand cut with the skin peels still on them.It was served with mushy peas on a wooden board & a small silver bucket like container for the chips. I had the fried goats cheese which was served with green leaves. We shared a portion of onion rings which were also to die for. I will most certainly be returning here & I will be choosing my other half's choice, the fresh scampi & chips.Full marks even to the fire lightning that created a lovely warm Christmasy feel.Yum Yum :)

Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK Temple Bar)
Unit 1, Temple Bar Square, Dublin 2 , Temple Bar, Dublin

My brother and myself went for a quick bite to eat here today. We decided to share a burger (cajun) and chicken wings. There was plenty in that for two. the wings were excellent and very close to elephant and castle wings for three quarters of the price. He had a milkshake and I had a sparkling water. Our total bill was 24 euro.really great value for money! Will return again :)

The Harbour Master Restaurant & Bar
Custom House Dock, I.F.S.C Dublin 1, IFSC, Dublin

We had the chicken wings in the bar area, which were delicious. The bar had a great buzzing after work atmosphere. The drinks were also very well priced which is rare in the city centre. I would most certainly return, especially for the wings.

Elephant & Castle
18/19 Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We were a group of four people with the best table in the house, just inside the door with full view of everything inside and out. We all started with the famous chicken wings, which I was a little disappointed with.I have eaten their chicken wings lots of times before and they had always being fabulous. It tasted as if the were reheated or left lying on the hot plate area for a while, as they were quite dried out.We all ordered burgers, as these were delicious. We got two desserts between us, Murder by Chocolate, which was extremely luscious and a Kahula ice cream collection, which was so tasty. We had coffees and I treated myself to a spicy rum hot chocolate which was divine. Overall the meal was nice but the chicken wings were a definite let down as I know how good they are usually. Maybe this was because it was a Saturday and it was extremely busy?????It wouldn't put me off returning however :)

The Wild Swan Chinese Restaurant
1st Floor No1, Main Street, North Co. Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

My Mam and myself decided to go for an early bird menu last Thursday at The Wild Swan. The menu was very well priced and there was a choice of two different menus, one at 16euro for a three course and the other at 18euro.I chose from the 18euro menu and my Mam chose from the 16euro menu. The food was excellent and the service was excellent. I would recommend here and in particular the red thai curry. We will definitely return to this restaurant as an local early bird option!

Buenos Aires Grill
Unit 2 Castle Way, Golden Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I bought a city deal for this restaurant on previous recommendation and my fiancee and I decided to use it for his birthday. We were pleasantly surprised! The standard of food was excellent from the starter, main course, dessert and wine.It was a superb deal and outstanding value for money. After all it was a Friday evening too! When I saw today's deal for the same restaurant, we jumped at the chance for hopefully another fantastic meal out. Absolutely one of the best meals we have eaten this year from the high standard of food quality to the atmosphere, service and choice on the menu.Looking forward to the visiting it again!
