i stayed in Bantry for a few nights and ended up eating here every night! the early bird menu, (with steak!) was such good value. As was the 20% of wine! It was to good an opportunity, to eat great food, to miss! i would definatley recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Bantry.Cuisine:

pretty average place to grab a sandwich, and i agree with the other reviewer, the staff can be snippy! but its quick, reasonable and decent enough to recommend for a quick bite.
The Shanghai Express
Lower O'Connell Street, Kinsale, Cork
This is my favourite place to eat. The menu is great and the staff are really friendly. If I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat this is the place I head to! I really prefer sitting downstairs, the upstairs is a little soulless, but just needs a touch of something to make it great! The location is really good, just a few mins walk from the waterfront, and i love the lamb rendang, chicken caeser with wasabi dressing and the potstickers. I don't like the vegetarian spring rolls-its about the only thing i don't like on menu! i would recommend this restaurant to a friend and is well worth a visit.

Vista
Shearwater, Pier Road, Kinsale, Cork
I visited the restaurant as party of four. I,along with 1 friend had the beef curry, it was mediocre at best, my other friends had the salmon and another the chicken. The non curry eaters were very pleased with their choices. I thought the menu was expensive for the food we received. The service was alright, nothing spectacular, not a warm welcome, not rude. the location is one of the best in Kinsale, there are few places to eat in Kinsale on the water. On the plus side, the pizzas, which i have had as a takeaway are very nice. It would not be my first choice to eat in Kinsale.

Jola's Restaurant
18/19 Lower O'Connell Street, Kinsale, Cork
I love this restuarant! I think the food is great, albeit the menu is small. The atmosphere is great here as well, both for an intimate dinner and for a group of friends!

El Vino
U11 East Village, Douglas, Cork
I went for a dinner here early one friday evening and i thought the food and service was great. I liked the mis-matched furniture, but i think it doesnt really work in a place so small. I have no complaints about this place, and would definately eat here again and recommend to friends.
