This is by far the best place to eat in Celbridge and surrounding areas. Have been here many times and have tried several different things from the menu eg, steak, chicken, lasagne, pasta, fish. The chicken wings, soup and brushetta are our favourite starters. We have never been disappointed. The food is cooked to perfection and is always served hot. The portion sizes are quite big so we are normally to full for dessert. We have sampled a selection, which have been homemade and very tasty. The waiting staff are pleasant and professional. The early bird menu is of exceptionally good value. They always play great music and the decor is modern and chique. Would highly recommend Hogans to anyone who likes excellent tasting food in a modern setting.

I was here with 3 friends on a Sat night. For starters we had soup and seafood and for mains we all had fish dishes. The food was well cooked and the flavours were great. The portion sizes are quite big so we had no room for dessert. The waiting staff were great and went patiently through all the specials and were able to answer any questions we had. They were friendly and efficient. The athmosphere was great and we all had a brilliant night. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place.

Wagamama - Stephen's Green
St Stephen's Green Centre, South King St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

This is probably the best fast food restaurant in Dublin. I've been here on many occasions before. Every time the food has been superb and the service great. It's good value for money and I'll be back again in the very near future.

La Maison
15 Castle Market Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I was here for lunch with a friend and we ate from the all day a la carte menu. We both had the fish soup to start. For mains I had the skillet of fish and shellfish and my friend duck and for dessert we both had crème brulee. It was a fantastic meal. Every course was cooked to perfection and the portions were generous. The service was friendly and we felt very relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The only small complaint would be that they serve the house wine in a label less bottle. It's a bag in box wine but I prefer then if it was served in a nice carafe instead. The wine itself tasted ok though.

Bunsen

The best burger place in Dublin. Have been here a couple of times and every time the food has been great and I can't fault the service at all. Will definitely be returning again.

The Bradaun Restaurant @ Leixlip House Hotel
Leixlip, Leixlip, Kildare

We were here for a birthday meal with 4 others on this occasion but have eaten here many times before. We tend to always sit in the reception area as we find that the old style furnishing and decor is the perfect athmosphere for a relaxing meal. The food has always been of high quality and we have tried different dishes from the menu. It would be great though if they changed the menu a bit more. The service is always friendly and there is never any rush. We'll go back again.

Avenue Cafe & Restaurant
Main Street, Maynooth, Kildare

Went here for an early evening meal about 2 weeks ago. The place was quite busy. We had chicken wings to start but it's impossible to finish as the portion is huge. We brought half of it home with us. They were very tasty though. For mains, we had the steak and the duck. Absolutely beautiful and well cooked food. I did miss a few veg on the plate though. We were too full for desserts. I do find the prices a bit on the high side. The service wasn't great. It felt like they were a bunch of college students that didn't have a clue how to behave in a service job. The tables are very close to each other so there is no privacy. We would go back though to share a portion of chicken wings.

Le Bon Crubeen
81-82 Talbot Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

What an excellent surprise to find such a great place to eat in Dublin City. The food was fantastic. We had chicken and fish and they were cooked to perfection, even though my partner would have liked a bit more on the plate. The waiter was friendly and professional and we had a laugh. The athmosphere was great and all the other diners seem to be as relaxed as us, just enjoying the meal. The value is exceptional and we will definitely be back in the very near future.

The Peacock Restaurant @ Finnstown Country House
Newcastle Road, West Co. Dublin, Lucan, Dublin

We have been here several times over the last couple of years, normally for family occassions. The food is very good and the menu offers a good and varied selection. The service is good but not fantastic. Some of the staff are not very knowledgeable or helpful. Finnstown house is a lovely old house and the dining room is old style and together with the excellent piano player creates a very relaxing, romantic athmosphere. The set menu is good value. It's definitely one of the best places to eat in Lucan and would recommend it.

Zest Cafe
Unit 6/7, Clane Shopping Centre, Clane, Kildare

Brought my in-laws to Zest cafe for pizza and beer. The crust of the pizzas are thin and crispy and there are plenty of toppings on the pizza. We actually found that pizza was all we needed as they're big and very tasty. Have been there before and the food and service has always been to a very high standard. Would recommend!
