I went for a celebration dinner with my mother and grandmother, and we were not disappiointed! The food was beautiful, with a great variety. We all had different starters and main courses and everything was delicious! Our waitress was very helpful and pleasant, the ambience was relaxed and we all enjoyed ourselves very much.

I visited the greenery for brunch this week, and three weeks ago for dinner. The atmosphere is lovely; it is well lit, comfortable, and has a cosy feel to it. Where it falls down somewhat is the service; on both occasions i found the service to be very slow, having to ask several times for drinks, the bill etc(however all the staff are very friendly!) and this is a small thing but it really put my mum off - there are little ramikins of salt on each table, and some of these were dirty (olive oil and pesto stains), which doesn't look great when it's the first thing you see as you sit down. However, the food is absolutely delicious- they've got an extensive brunch menu and everything on it is done really well.

Cactus Jacks (Middle Abbey St)

Really enjoyed my meal here- good food, staff were lovely, we stayed quite late and they didn\'t make us feel rushed at all!

The Merrion Inn Bar & Kitchen
188 Merrion Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin

The Merrion Inn has a lovely restaurant section, and we got seats in one of the booths so it was very comfortable and pleasant. The staff are extremely friendly and eager to help! The food is really tasty- I had the seafood chowder and chicken wings, both of which were excellent! I would definitely recommend it!

Jaipur Restaurant (Dalkey)
21 Castle Street, South Co. Dublin, Dalkey, Dublin

The food here is gorgeous, excellent range of choices, and really really flavoursome. You won't recognise any of the dishes, because this is one of the few restaurants that serves authentic Indian cuisine, as opposed to adapting it to European tastes. I've scored them lower on service as our waiter was quite rude, and we had a very long wait because it was busy. After we had paid our bill the manager came to apologise for the long gaps between courses and offered us a free drink- but seeing as we were leaving and had already paid quite a lot of money, it seemed like a bit of an empty offer. Probably better to try here on less of a busy night for a better experience!

Farmer Browns
25a Bath Avenue, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin

I marked farmer browns down for atmosphere because it was absolutely freezing the night I was there, wasn't really any attempt being made to heat the place up, some people were still wearing their coats! The food, however, was well worth it! The sweet potato cake starter is delicious, and the burgers are soooo tasty! I'd definitely recommend it!

Farm Restaurant (Leeson St)
133 Upper Leeson St, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin

The atmosphere in Farm is lovely- both upstairs and downstairs are very warm and inviting, and the staff are pleasant and helpful. The range on the menu is very good, and I love the mini soda bread loaves, a really nice touch! Will definitely be coming here again
