Wrights Findlater Howth Restaurant
Findlater House, North Co. Dublin, Howth, Dublin

We visited Diep above Findlater's. The food was amazing - the ribs as a starter is definitely not to be missed. The prawns were delicious too as where the mains. Service could be improved we waited in and around an hour for a bottle of wine as it needed to be chilled. There was no communication re a delay. If we had been informed, we could have ordered alternative drinks sooner, while we waited. This would have resulted in a higher score for service. Maybe this was a teething problem. The wine was great and definitely worth the wait.

Hole In The Wall Phoenix Park
Blackhorse Avenue, Navan Road, Dublin

We decided to stop in here for some tapas and ordered the 3 for €21 and a main as it was between two. We should have ordered the 3 for €20 and another tapas from the menu. Portion sizes were good. The tapas potatoes and dip were tastier than expected! The spicy beef was as good as I remembered! We ordered the Peri Peri Wings there wasnt much peri peri we might try the buffalo sauce next time! On our return visit I will definitely order the prawns instead of the main! Service: We waited at the bar to be seated (no reservation) the bar staff were very polite and friendly. We were called as soon as a table became available (without delay). Atmosphere was quiet maybe some background music would be nice. Over all a great experience.

The Canal Bar
73 Ashtown Village, Dublin 15, Ashtown, Dublin

We watched the All Ireland Final here, it was very busy. The staff cleared the tables as quickly as they became available. Our food arrived within a reasonable amount of time given the volume of people and it was hot and well cooked. While the staff were very busy they remained polite and helpful.
