Went to A favourite restaurant of ours for unch yesterday. I have to say the food was amazing . There was a group of us & everyone was thrilled with their food. I ordered the Siam Combo for starters, Choo Chee Curry for main & White chocolate cheesecake for dessert. All the courses was delish & I have to say the White chocolate cheesecake was out of this world. That was reccommended by the waitress. Great choice. We sat there for hours ,enjoyed the food, company & atmosphere. Loved it

We went here for lunch today. They have a lunch deal that you can choose any starter & main course or any maincourse & dessert off the lunch menu for 10 euro. I had the Pollo Alfredo with salad which was delish. The sauce was really lovely on it. My husband & daughter both had 6 oz steak with pepper sauce & chips & my other daughter had Pollo Diavola . They all really enjoyed what they had. We all ordered Tiramisu for dessert which was to die for. If you ordered tea or coffee that was extra. You couldnt fault the food & it was very good value for money. Only problem was the restaurant was totally dead.Could of done with a bit of dusting along the window still but couldnt fault the food

Saison
21 Kildare Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

This was such an amazing dining experience. There is something very special about Saison. It felt like going on a culinary vacation to France but you were still in the beautiful Dublin surroundings. The food was amazing .It was heaven on a plate from start to finish.Every plate was a work of art.The visual & the tastes were 2nd to none.I would recommend the Foie Gras, first time I tried it .It was delish.Halibut was fab .But have to say the Chocolate fondant was to die for.Hubby had Warm goats cheese for starters , delish .Venison for main .Cooked to perfection & dessert of White chocolate soufflé stunning. The staff were so nice & welcoming & the french music playing in the background set the tone perfectly.Cant wait to return for another visit

Carlo's Restaurant
63-64 O'Connell Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Grabbed a bite to eat here with my sis .We ordered wings & garlic mushrooms for starters. My sis enjoyed the wings .But I felt the mushrooms were frozen ones from a packet (I may be wrong ) We both ordered steak for main with mash & pepper sauce which was delish. The dessert was Tiramisu which was nice but not amazing .There didnt seem to be much atmosphere here & the tables all seemed very squashed together. It would be an ideal place to grab something to eat on your way out but if you wanted to go somewhere special for a night out I wouldnt recommend here.

Have been here a few times for birthday get togethers. We always go & get the early bird menu .The food is always amazing .The staff are lovely & there is never any hurry. There is nothing worse than having a meal & feel like you are been rushed out of the place . I always order the Caesar salad, its fab . I love the Frito Misto for main, amazing. But have to say the Chicken Linguini carbonara is to die for .Most of the other dishes were ordered by friends at the table & everything was delish.Desserts I love are the Key Lime pie but one night they had a Banoffee spring roll which was delish too. Highly recommend this restaurant & cant wait to return

Flourless chocolate cake was to die for .Companions had Pigeon for starter but he felt it was very tough & way too salty .Beef for main but still too heavy with the salt on beef & with gravy.Dessert of creme Brulee was delish.Pity about the other 2 dishes.Lovely choice of wines too.

There was loads to eat. We could of even ordered the main on its own & it would of been enough. Very tasty & enjoyed every bit of it Washed it all down with a lovely cocktail too. Grainstore @ Darver Castle
Readypenny, Dundalk, Co.Louth, Dundalk, Louth

Went here one saturday night for a family meal. They have a A La Carte menu 3 course for 20 euro & 4 course for 25 euro. We ordered a selection of Deep fried Brie, garlic mushrooms, soup & spring rolls for starters. I ordered the brie & found it was over cooked because when i cut into it the brie had disappeared in one of the pieces. The rest of the starters were lovely. For main course we ordered 2 ,14oz steaks,Beer battered cod,Barbarry duck & Fillet of sea bass. All the mains were delish. I ordered the Sea bass which was to die for. All mains served with veg etc which were all cooked perfectly. For desserts we ordered the Pavlova & creme Brulee but found the desserts very dissappointing. The pavlova was hard ¬ enough cream, fruit etc & creme brulee wasnt nice either. Felt the dessert let the meal down. It was a pity because it was lovely up to that.

Gallahers Bistro
16A D'Olier Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Brought my Mam here for afternoon tea .The food was just lovely .Our 3 tier cake stand came to our table laden down with sandwitches & cakes & scones of every description . You are given a choice of a number of sandwich choices & you can pick 3 that you like. we picked the roast beef, egg with pickled cucumber & chicken tortillas. All great choices. Scones came with your cream & jam.We got our tea in 2 large cups. Only gripe I have is would of rathered a pot of tea because we had so much to eat I felt the tea went cold very quick in the large cup. We asked for more hot water & that was bought in a tea pot which did the job. We had cocktails to follow which were really nice. All the staff were wonderful & it was such an amazing building inside & out that you would forget you were in Dublin . It was like a mini holiday . We will certainly be back

My Daughters brought me here for the early bird menu. We ordered the Bruchetta & Garlic bread starters which werre both lovely . Both myself & my daughtetr ordered Carbonara & my other daughter ordered pizza. The carbonara was lovely but I found it a little too rich & I felt too full & unable to finish . My Daughter loved the pizza. Only problem was the restaurant didnt have much atmosphere & I ate & left . It could of been because it was so early in the evening & there wasnt many people there.

We went here for the early bird menu before we went to Whelans for a concert . The food was lovely . We had the Insalata Del 'Angolo for starters. It was lovely .I have to say very tasty. Simular to a Caesar salad but much nicer . Both myself & my friend ordered the same. We both ordered Tagliatelle Con pancetta which was delish but I would have liked more of it .It could of been because it was so nice I ate it too fast lol. It was very central to everywhere so its a great spot for a pre theatre /show restaurant .Will be back again

Siam Thai (Dundrum)

Best Panang chicken I have ever had & have returned many times for it & have never been disappointed with the food. Have tried this dish in many restaurants but nothing lives up to Siam Thai. Panang King Prawn is lovely too :)
