myself and my husband visited ere a while back. they are advertised as a tapas, no tapas was ere but there was a tapas menu, no tapas on it. so disappointing. place was empty apart from a male couple sitting in the corner. we ordered from a very unpolite girl who really cldnt tell us much about the menu. the food was of course not very nice and when we complained we were laughed at. i would srongly tell people if you are eating out in navan do not eat here ever.

Copper & Spices Restaurant & Wine Bar
Ludlow Street, Navan, Meath

Back for a lovely curry last night in Copper and Spices, they are now doing a 2 course for E17.00 and a 3 course for E20.00. for starters i had the duck, lovely portion and presentation was amazing. For my main course i had prawn Jalfarezi and Rice, my partner had Onion Bhaji for starter and Chicken Tikka Masala with naan bread for mains. Food was loads. we shared a bottle of house white. our bill in total was E53.00. amazing value. Restaurant wasnt packed out but it was only Thursday. Phone was rin ging and it seems that they do a really good takeaway trade. This is a great restaurant and staff are very friendly We really enjoyed our night.

Food was very nice, portions were hugh and the staff were very friendly. Deco is amazing.

The Ivy Cafe
Unit 6, Johnstown (SuperValue) Shopping Centre, Athlumney, Navan, Meath

Come here alot, really njoy the food all the time. Service can be a bit sloppy, yday my partner had the soup and i had a sandwich, i hate it when they serve the soup straight away and by the time i get my sandwich he had his soup finished, This is my only problem with the place.

O'Brien's Good Food and Drink House - Closed
The Village, Johnstown, Navan, Meath

This palce can be up and down. I have had some good nights here, but last saturday night wasnt one of them. I find with this bar/restaurant is that the floor staff really really let it down. It always always seems to be a big deal for them to do their job. they are rude in my opinion and it is always the main problem for me and my friends to go here. But saturday nite was even worse than ever, which is why I am leaving this review. We arrived on time and were brough to a table. 20 minutes later a waitress arrived to take our order, we asked if we could order some drinks first, she advised that she would have someone come to take our drinks order after. We ordered our food as we seemed to be bullied into ordering it, she left and my b/f when to the bar to get our drinks himself. If this wasnt bad enough the waitress came back 10 minutes later to repete our order as she taught that she had forgotton someting, she had, she hadnt written down the 2 portions of chciken wings we ordered. 30 minutes later we got our food, food was ok, but the plates were slammed down on our table or handed to us. everytime there was a different waiter/ess serving us.We left here very disappointed and vowed to never return. Much better restaurants in navan town who do better quality food and service.

Tulsi Restaurant
3 Buttermilk Walk, Galway City, Galway

dined in this restaurant last night, walk in and we were brought to a table. ordered wine and then we ordered our food, for starter we ordered a mix veg platter and for main courses, we ordered dal turka, and chana bhuna, 2 plain naan. our waiter was not at all polite taking our order, very rude actually. We got our starters and main courses brought at the same time, when the waiter put the chana bhuna dw we advised that what he brought was chana saag and that we had ordered chana bhuna, he spoke in his own language to me and took the dish and advised that it would be 2 minutes. our bread was under cooked, full of dough. eventually we got the chana bhuna, tasteless could t eat it. we advised this when the waiter came to clear the plates and he got very up set, saying no problem you only pay for wine and he walked off into the kitchen, within a few seconds the chef came out shouting at me about the naan bread that i didn't eat, when i spoke to whom i taught was the manager, he said he didn't know what i was talking about, i'm surprised as there was only 1 other table in the restaurant. my night was ruined and i was quite upset about been shouted at, my b/f was very angry and asked for the bill, we were only charged for the wine but we left E20.00 extra as we didn't have any problem with our starter or dal turka. But waiters had problems with me.
