Buffalo Wings to Die for. Yes there are many Restaurants that offer Chicken Wings, but none will compare to these. Great Food in nice and busy surroundings during lunchtime. Will be back time and time again. Well Done...
The Halfway House
Walkinstown Road, Walkinstown, Dublin
I drank here in the 70s and boy has it changed. Had a business lunch here last week, the food is fresh, wholesome, filling and well presented. Carvery is well manned and the staff actually seem like they want your business. It was great and I'll be back.

The Step Inn Lounge Restaurant
Enniskerry Road, Stepaside Village, Stepaside, Stepaside, Dublin
Ate here last Monday evening, was coming home from work and popped in for something light. There were a few Lads at the bar drinking pints and nobody eating, it was a bit strange. I had a burger and it was a burger, nothing to write home about. Followed by a Cappucino which was OK. Sorry Guys I wont be rushing here to eat.

Purple Ocean Restaurant
St Michael's Pier, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin
As my partner and I strolled along the pier we spotted the beautiful blue lights across the harbour, we came across to find a restaurant. We decided to eat and what a great decision that was. It was my partner’s birthday; we had made no major plans just a romantic night out together. We were offered a wonderful seat by the window, the colours of the restaurant and beautiful, blue and purple and white, it’s so soft and gentle and yet there is a magic atmosphere in the room. The food was just so good, we had Brie and Smoked Salmon, my salmon came on a long dish, just beautiful presentation and both tasted excellent, the waitress was amazing, we told her it was my partner’s birthday. The main course were Duck and Fillet Steak and cooked to perfection and so so nice. What I thought was the best part of all was, the Manager came to our table and gave my partner a bag and inside was a gift for her birthday. It was a Blue Angel, it is truly beautiful and I was / am so impressed. Other restaurants could learn from this restaurant. Customer service as if they really wanted your business and food to return for.

Beijing
Jardine House, Sandyford Village Centre, Sandyford, Dublin
We arrived to Beijing and it was like going back in time, although the Restaurant is new, the decor is dated, bright lights, plastic plants, function chairs, paper napkins and there was nobody else in the room at 8.30pm on a Thursday evening. The Flat Screen TV showing the football in the Lounge was the only hint that we were in the 21st century. There is no atmosphere in the Restaurant at all. The Menu was basic; the wine list was like the room itself, a blast from the past. The service was ok, but the food was indeed fresh and tasty. But expensive.
