I have eaten in Monsoon Valley a lot over the last year as I go to Bundoran for surfing fairly regularly. The food has always been absolutely top notch. This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Ireland. Good selection of vegetarian too. Highly recommended.

Absolutely crammed when we were there. The food is OK. Very typical chinese food but no real complaints as I enjoyed it. it is a little bit on the expensive side for what it is which is basically take away food on a plate.

Diwali Indian Restaurant
Unit 1, Castle House, South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

The food was not bad by Dublin standards. We were happy with the food, nothing amazing but done the job. The atmosphere is not great and it's quite small. We had a table for 2 and it was too small for us. Overall I'd probably (maybe!) go back.

Madina Desi Curry Co
60 Mary Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Quite good indian food with plenty of good vegetarian options. Service a bit haphazard but the food makes up for it. Not somewhere to go and sit over dinner for 3 hours but great for a quick and casual feed. No booze!

The Village Cafe Bar
Unit 1 Main Street, Enfield, Enfield, Meath

The Thai food is excellent here - really good. The only problem I would have is that they made a fuss about me asking for my 'vegetarian' curry without fish sauce. They made it reluctantly but informed me that they were only doing it because it wasn't that busy and during busier times, they wouldn't because the sauce is premade with fish sauce in it. Not very good service to a potential regular customer who wants a vegetarian curry which is actually vegetarian. Anywho, the food was very tasty when it did come and good value.

Kundan Tandoori
Unit 4 Tallaght Retail Park, West Dublin, Tallaght, Dublin

This was the worst eating experience I've had in Dublin. The food was awfully bad. The pilau rice was a big ball of sticky mess and the palak paneer tasted like no palak paneer I've ever had before (and not in a good way). The staff were unpleasant to say the least. The best thing I can say is that it was cheap but I wouldn't go back if the food was free.

Himalaya Tandoori
Unit 6, Village Centre, West Dublin, Clondalkin, Dublin

Visited here again last week and while I do think the food is generally quite good and good value too, the thing that really lets this place down is the horrible poppadoms they serve before your meal. They are horrible dried out, obviously microwave cooked and taste like cardboard. Please Himalaya, do something about them!
