We have just come back from what was an absolutely evening in Clouds. We arrived to the restaurant and were greeted by friendly staff. We decided to wait in the bar area of the restaurant before dining. They brought our menus and we placed our orders. In the meantime, the head chef came out to mingle amongst us and our fellow diners and wished us an enjoyable meal..something your don't see very often. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. After our starters we were offered an amuse bouche of a lime sorbet compliments of the chef, which I thought was a lovely gesture. I would highly recommend this restaurant for couples or small groups. The ambiance was really nice, with a man playing gentle background music on the piano, plus there was a lovely view of the airport. It was a busy Saturday night but we could not fault a thing! Highly recommended!

We have eaten at this restaurant on a couple of occasions. It is generally very busy but you are never waiting too long for a table. Food quality is generally good and whilst they don't have a great choice for vegetarians there is never really a problem making something up that's not on the menu, within reason. On one occasion we did have reason to send fries back as they tasted like reheats, but there was absolutely no problem and the manager on duty was very apologetic. To sum up I would say, service good, food quality good but prices a bit much for diner food.

Relish
5 Bayview, Bettystown, Meath

I ate here for the first time last week with a friend of mine and I have to say it was lovely. It was a very busy lunchtime period but we weren't waiting too long to get a table. The restaurant was very tastefully decorated with beautiful views of the sea. The choice on the menu was pretty good. I had the pasta and avocado salad with garlic ciabatta which was divine!! My friend had a chicken panini which she said was lovely. Overall cost was very reasonable with efficient and friendly service. I would definitely return.

Harveys Bar and Grill Restaurant (Above Harvest Bar & Lounge)
Main Street, Balbriggan, Balbriggan, Dublin

We have eaten here twice and I have to say it's not bad at all!! The decor(american diner style) and atmosphere were good(although we did go down before the rush), something which is a bit lacking in Balbriggan in general. There is a great cocktail menu, the strawberry daiquiri is divine!! The choice of food was good, including some vegetarian options. The staff were very friendly and the service was fast without being rushed. Price wise it was about average.

La Peniche @ RIASC
Barge Riasc, Mespil Road Jetty, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We ate at La Peniche last night for my 30th birthday. There was a group of 13 of us and we had a ball. The menu is a little limited, but then again, you are on a small boat that only seats about 50. The food was of very good quality, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were very attentive. There is a deck outside which can be used for drinks but it was bit cold for us, it would be fantastic during summer though. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for small groups, it’s such a different thing to do for a special occasion, and your friends will love it!!

Golden Emperor
13-15 Bridge Street, Balbriggan, Balbriggan, Dublin

Myself and my husband go to this restaurant about once or twice a month and the food is great. The restaurant is very small so advance booking would be required at weekends. The service has always been excellent and the food quality very good. They also have a take away service which I don't find as good as the eat-in. The staff know our faces in there by now and they are one of the few restaurants that I know to acknowledge loyal customers! They also have omlettes and steak on the menu so you are not totally restricted to chinese food. Definitely a local favourite of ours!!

Independent Pizza Co
28 Drumcondra Rd Lower, Dublin 9, Drumcondra, Dublin

Myself and my husband go to this restaurant quite often and I can honestly say it's the best pizza I have eaten outside of Italy!! They do a mean bruscetta too :) The only thing I can say is that sometimes service is a bit slow but it is definitely worth the wait. It gets very busy especially at weekends so I would advise booking in advance if at all possible. Definitely the best pizza in Dublin!!

Patrick Guilbaud
21 Upper Merrion Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

We tried this restaurant for the first time last year as we received a gift voucher for dinner there. We were very excited as we had heard great things about it. I have to say personally I was very disappointed. The service was flawless, the waiters were so attentive. The wine was superb. I have previously worked in France and I know French cuisine can taste a little buttery and salty. I found the food here to be over salty and too heavy. The menu is very much geared towards meat eaters. I had the vegetarian risotto which I could only eat half of as it was so heavy. I had the chocolate dessert which I found to be too heavy also. I found the decor was a little cold and lacked atmosphere. To be honest, I feel that this restaurant is a little overrated.

Chez Sara Wine Bar
3 Old Street, North Co. Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

Friends of ours love this restaurant and have been several times. We joined them for dinner one evening and found it to be charming. The premises are very quaint and we found there to be a lovely atmosphere. Food is cooked in an open kitchen which I like. The menu does not have a huge variety especially for vegetarians but I did have a lovely goats cheese salad which was very tasty. The others in our party had the steak which they enjoyed thoroughly. Prices were reasonable too.

Cafe Provence
1 Church Road, Malahide, Dublin

I visited this restaurant for the first time about a month ago and found it charming. The food was of very good quality and service was very quick. I can personally recommend the prawn salad. The food was good value for money too. The only downfall I would say is that there are a lot of tables in the restaurant and could probably feel a bit crowded when full although we did not experience this as we ate there during the day.

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

We have been to this restaurant on a couple of occasions. In general I would say it very good in terms of variety on the menu and quality of food. I would however say that although I feel they do not lack staff, service is quite slow. On our last visit we were almost an hour waiting for our starters which I feel is not good enough for a restaurant that is not even half full. However, the ice cream tower dessert is heaven!

Jaipur Restaurant (Malahide)
5 St James's Terrace, Dublin 15, Malahide, Dublin

I myself love Indian food but my husband had never been to an Indian restaurant before. He asked the very friendly waiter what he would recommend. He asked us to wait one moment and to our amazement returned with the chef to help us choose our meal! I myself am vegetarian and love the subz korma, my husband's favourite is the chicken tikka masala. We have returned to this restaurant several times and have found it to be consistently excellent in terms of service, food quality and value for money. The early bird is particularly good value for money.

Farm Restaurant (Dawson Street)
3 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

We visited this restaurant for the first time last week and were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who was very attentive throughout our meal. I had soup and salad and my husband had the vegetarian pizza, both of which were delicious. The apple crumble is divine too! We also had a glass each of the organic French white wine, which was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this restaurant although personally I think it's more suited to daytime eating rather than an intimate evening meal.
