I love The Larder, its one of my go-to places in the city. The food is consistently good, especially the chicken wings. The service is friendly and helpful. Its good value, especially the early bird. And the desserts top it all off.

Whitefriar Grill
16 Aungier Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

I had Brunch here recently and really enjoyed the experience. We didn't have a reservation but were very pleasantly accommodated by the very friendly host. I had heard great things about the food and I wasn't let down. It was delicious. As was the wine recommended by the host. The place was buzzing with not one empty seat and a DJ playing cool tunes. I'll definitely be back and would recommend it.

The Larder Restaurant
8 Parliament Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We ate here last night and I was really impressed. We both had chicken wings to start and they were delicious. The coating had a really rough texture which gave them a really good bite. Probably the best chicken wings in Dublin! For mains we had the chicken with risotto and the steak which were both really delicious. The chicken was lovely and moist and the risotto was full of flavour. The steak was cooked well and tasty. We shared the cheescake for dessert. It had been recommended to us by a friend and it did not disappoint. Perfect texture with lots of flavour. There was lots of people so the atmosphere was good, there was music on but you could barely hear it with all the chatter. The service was friendly and good in general. My only complaint was that our plates were left sitting on the table for a while after each course.

Brother Hubbard
153 capel st, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Brother Hubbard is a small oasis on the northside. We sat in the sunny garden and enjoyed really fresh and tasty salads, homemade soup and delicious sandwiches. Their coffee is smooth and tasty and is a perfect accompaniment to their delicious fresh baked pastries. We had a cinnamon roll and an orange chocolate flourless cake. Everything was delicious and the extremely friendly staff really added to the experience. Can't wait to try their hot chocolate.....was too full when I saw someone else assembling theirs!!!

Kitchen
3 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here on friday evening and was very pleasantly surprised. There was a great atmosphere, plenty of people in there. The food was all hot and tasty. We shared the chicken wings to start and had the steak and stew as mains. All very tasty and enjoyable. We shared the special dessert, strawberry and vanilla cheesecake, a great end to a great mean. Kitchen is a very relaxed restaurant, with a good atmosphere and even better food.

Sean Mac D's
69 Harolds Cross Road, Harolds Cross, Dublin

I got the menupages voucher because the menu looked good. The place from the outside would not make me think there is good quality tasty food inside, it just looks like your local. However I was very pleasantly surprised. The place was very quite but it was early evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was no problems using the voucher. We had the gnocci and crab to start, both very tasty. Followed by the cod and the cottage pie, again really good quality, tasty food. We both had the brownie for dessert and it didn't disappoint.

Gotham Cafe
8 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Gotham is a great place for a relaxed dinner and I have gone regularly enough for a good few years. Recently though I discovered their brunch. Its only served on sundays but thats my only complaint. The menu is great with something for everyone. I really enjoy the mushroom bagel and have been told the breakfast pizza is delicious! Its also great value. I would recommend making a booking as I've seen people being turned away!

Saba

The food here is great as is the service. The lunch special is great value and is served until 6 every day so is a good option before a movie or theatre. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Jo'Burger
137 Rathmines Road, Dublin 6 , South Dublin, Rathmines, Dublin

If you want a relaxed meal out and like burgers then you won't do better than Jo'Burger in Rathmines. There is a great selection of toppings and the beef is organic! The sweet potato fries are amazing!! I have been regularly and have found the service good every time. The music can be a bit loud, but you know that before going so its not the venue for a romantic meal. Their wine is served in tumblers for some reason!! I would definitely recommend it for anyone who likes burgers, but be warned all other burgers will pale in comparison after you have a Jo'Burger!!

Farm Restaurant (Dawson Street)
3 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

I've eaten here a few times and really like the place. The decor is cool, the food is tasty and there is plenty of choice on the menu. The service can be a bit hit or miss but I've never been in too much of a rush so that was fine. I would definitely recommend it for a relaxed meal out.
