I am fan of salamancas and feel i am always guaranteed a good meal there. My most recent visit was the same. The food is very tasty and we ate everything, I had chicken while my frend had fish- everything was cooked to perfection. The sides were delicious as always- the potatoe cubes. Service was good, the only complaint, if even, is the pricing. I dont think its extortionate but I wont frequent the place as much as I could. But overall its one I always revisit

Been here a few times and find this place reliable. Was very let down however on my recent visit. Must agree with other reviews regarding the low level of service. The waiter came to our table to take a drinks order, and i ordered soft drinks and water and was just finishing my drinks order with wine when he walked off mid sentence. I wasnt sure if he had heard the full order or if he was even getting the first part of the order. So i attempted to call him back to clarify when he spoke out loudly (didnt come over to our table to see what we wanted and assumed it ws the soft drinks/water order) to say he was getting the drinks. I was pretty sure he didnt get the wine order as I hadnt specified so I called another waiter and informed him of our wine order and that our original waiter wasnt very pleasant. He made a joke of it saying it was the guys first night- no sign of apology. Was very unhappy with the service. In their defence, they did seem busy but this is no excuse to walk off mid sentence during a customers order, not clarify the order, and they speak out over everyone when the customer attempts to get your attention. Was very let down by my latest visit as I usually rave about this place. Food very good as always...service has a lot to be desired though

Murphy's Bar & Squires Pub
College Street, Killarney, Killarney, Kerry

Was a fan of toasted sandwiches in Murphys years ago but havent been back in a while so was looking forward to my visit, along with a recommendation from a friend. Must say that I was disappointed. Ordered the lasagne, thought it was a bit expensive. It was edible- The cheese was nice but the mince wasnt very fresh, very disappointing. A friend ordered the special- Chicken and ham. Another disappointing dish as there was not much ham, and the little bit of ham that was there looked like it was the shop bought sliced sandwich ham. Again, another overpriced dish. All in all, a very disappointing experience from a place that I used to like. Theres too many finer places in Killarney to revisit this place

Prego
18 Henry Street, Kenmare, Kerry

We had reserved and waited to be seated. There seemed to be confusion about who would seat us and the girl doing so seemed busy and so she sat people who arrived after us before us.. we were seated then and orders were swiftly taken. Starters were very tasty as were the mains (lasagne)- very filling and good size portion. Reasonable price and good food. Service could improve though. Will be back though.

In a word overrated. They cram the tables in, and rush you in and out. cannot relax and enjoy a meal here. food not great, and service alot to be desired. we were a few mins late, and before seating us they reminded us that we were late and that they needed the table by 9. only went because of a good review from a friend but def will Not be back. Def much better restaurants in ranelagh. Food nothing to write home about.

Jo'Burger
137 Rathmines Road, Dublin 6 , South Dublin, Rathmines, Dublin

The burgers are amazing! However the ruby coleslaw had a lot to be desired. Was stuffed after it. Waitress advised to share chips between us...just as well as we didnt even finish these!! Dont like the fact that you sit on benchs with randoms, as you dont get much privacy though
