My first time at this restaurant and I LOVED IT! Havent stopped talking about the food since. Really nice decor and friendly staff. I had the risotto balls which are so good thats enough of a reason to return. I also got steak, cooked to perfection with beautiful chunky chips and my friend got chicken which she also loved. It may be a bit pricey but I will definitely go back sometime soon!

Have been here on many occassions. Love, love, love the food, its always consistently good, really fresh and has an authentic feel to it. Love the new fries (homemade with rosemary-just yum) I seem to get the cajun burger most regularly-really good cajun mayo and relish. My boyfriend also loves it and is happy that beer is available too!!!!

Elephant & Castle
18/19 Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I have been here twice, got the wild mushroom risotto the first time as a starter which for me was way too big for a starter portion so I couldn't eat any more, so the second time, myself and friends shared, we had the chicken wings which I LOVE! I really like spicy food and they were just that and come with a fab sauce, also shared the hummous which is also fab! I'm planning on going back asap!!!

The Grapevine Cafe Wine & Tapas Bar
6 Rose Inn Street, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny

It was my first visit here and I have to say I really really enjoyed it! The cheese board is a must try, really good selection, if a little pricey! Had the paté with the melba toast too-it was delicious, and a really fair sized portion. Only thing is they need an early bird menu of some sort as I would be more inlclined to go more often. Overall I would recommend to a friend.

Burritos & Blues
2 Wexford Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

I have been here quite a few times since a friend first introduced me to it. Location is central, service-friendly and quick, good for quick lunch. Food is really tasty and fresh, I get the little ass nachos, lovely crunchy nachos, pinto beans, cheese sauce and a wide choice of toppings like jalapenos, peppers, onions, tomatos etc, really nice guacamole and thier 1-4 salsas are yum!

Royal Spice Indian Restaurant Kilkenny
2 water gate, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny

It was my first visit to this restaurant and I really enjoyed it. It was a group of 6 of us. It was very busy when we were there and were waiting at least 30 mins for our starters. However, the food was really good and I found it to be really good value also! Had the meat samosa for starters and chicken tikka for main, which were both good, however I didn't like the pilau rice. For the long long delay, the staff even gave us a couple of drinks on the house! I hope to return again!

Ripleys Steak House
Butterslip Lane (off Kieran St), Kilkenny City, Kilkenny

Have been here on a few occassions and have always liked the food! Can be a bit pricey especially for the fajitta tower, which is good but lacks sauce and needs more spice! Really enjoy the starter platter and thier deep fried brie is amazing, with the cranberry dip. The highlight of my last visit was defiantly the malteaser brioche pudding-UNBELIEVABLE!!! I find the service consistently good and the staff friendly.

Acapulco Restaurant
7 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Love this place, have been many times! Great atmosphere, however will say can get cramped at times and can be seated on top of other guests when busy. Best thing for me is the chilli sizzlers..absoloutly love them and I love the chipotle sauce you get with them even more!!! Location is central and easy to get too. Cant say alot for the nachos, which should be a highlight in my view for a mexican restaurant and not mad about the tex mex burger either but love the burritto!! Servive has always been good.
