lovely busy spot opted for the tapas special and a glass of wine all very nice spanish omelette was half warm half cold but other than that it was all very tasty. The only downside was the rush to get us out i think four times they asked did we want anything else and then the bill arrived without requesting it we were onl there for an hour and ten minutes.

Rustic Stone
South George's Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

Enjoyed a nice meal here last week.lovely selection on the menu opted for two of the bites as starters which were lovely. steak and prawns on a stone and a burger for mains. My companion said he was still hungry after the steak and felt it needed a little more.My burger was delicious. We shared a fruit sushi for dessert that was gorgeous.Expensive at over €100 with a house bottle of wine but nice, bit crowded seat wise and too close for any real conversation so not for a romantic meal

Dunne And Crescenzi (South Frederick Street)
14-16 South Frederick Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Had a very disappointing lunch for two here. Ordered a mixed plate to start which was fine but waited over an hour for a fruitti de mer pasta which had a couple of small salmon pieces and watery sauce. The worst I've ever eaten the other order was a mushroom ravioli which was nice. Lots of other diners were also waiting over an hour. The waitress did offer us a coffee but as I was already late for work we declined. The worst €60 lunch ever.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK South Anne Street)

What a great deal - a fab chicken camembert & cranberry burger and yummy fries for €8.00. Fantastic place for a really good burger. Very pleasant staff and quick service.

Eat lunch here quite a lot and never really any complaints except sometimes it can be a little salty. tThe lunch menu is great value for money. Had breakfast last week which was really excellent a delightful experience and great value too.

The Market Bar
Fade Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Lovely place for tapas.the prices are reasonable and the service is good. The only down side is that the place is very cold especially if you sitting near the door. The marinated anchovies are gorge as is the mixed platter.Great for a few beers and a few nibbles

Koh
6-7 Jervis Street, Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin

Enjoyed a lovely evening meal here. Unfortunately we did have to wait for nearly an hour to be seated even though I had made a reservation. The food made up for the wait! Delicious is the only way to describe it Each of us tried different dishes and enjoyed a bottle of red from the Barossa region all in all very good .The service was excellent all through the meal and there was no push by the staff to leave even though it was after 12 by the time wew were finished

Masterson's Steakhouse & Wine Bar

enjoyed a nice meal for two here.Tasty prawns and mushrooms to start followed by the medallions and a chicken dish. The fries were very greasy which was a pity.Nice wine selection by the glass.Relaxed atmosphere and no hurry to leave. Will go back

Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK Swords)
Pavillion Shopping Centre, Malahide Road, Swords, Dublin

Great place for a really tasty burger the new menu is better with a couple of small starters that are good for sharing. The burgers are great something for everyone so many choices it’s difficult to decide. The service was a little haphazard we waited quite a while for water refills and the burgers did seem to take a long time to arrive but they were worth waiting for.

Tante Zoes
1 Crow Street, Temple Bar, Temple Bar, Dublin

Went for an early bird here as a birthday treat. The new menu is definetly not as good as it used to be prior to the new ownership. The choices are limited and the quality of the food was not as good although still ok. Catfish as an option really didnt sound great two of the party had it and were not impressed. Caesar Salad was lovely, chicken for main was defintley a little too cooked. Desserts were lovely. A good value early bird but just not the same as it used to be.

Rolys Bistro
7 Ballsbridge Terrace, Dublin, Ballsbridge, Dublin

Had a lovely early bird meal last night we were celebrating a birthday. The early bird is fron 5.45-6.30 we had booked for 6.45 but allowed the special menu, which was nice. There was a nice choice of starters ,soup, salad crostini etc,all of which were very tasty accompanied by thier lovely fresh breads which the waitress topped up.The mains were equally good, chicken fish lambwith lovely veg & potatoes. Only three of the party has dessert a lovey sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. At a reasonable € 23.95 for two courses or €26.95 plus 10%sevice ,we all felt it was good value. The only little fault we had was that the chef was a bit heavy handed with salt in most of the dishes.

Town Bar and Grill
21 Kildare Street, City Centre South, Dublin

We organised our xmas office lunch for here.It was a late lunch 4.00pm. From start to finish everthing was lovely. The choice was varied on the set menu with something for all tastes. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The menu worked out about €60 per person excluding alcohol which was definetly inflated for xmas but the food was delicious. I would recommend this for a special occassion or a romantic meal I felt it was worth the money.

The food & service are always great here on every visit except recently they have changed the menu. The lovely platter to share is gone as are some other dishes. The prices have also increased a little. Steaks and stir fry are great standards always good portions
