One of the nicest meals i have had in a long time. The choice is wonderful, and everyone around the table was happy. From the wine to the veg and everything in between, nothing was left behind. The staff are very friendly and professional. I will be back as soon as I can, I will also be recommending it to everyone who is eating out in Limerick.

Antica Venezia
97 Ashfield Road, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin

A really nice italian in Ranelagh. I have been here 3 times and always have a pleasant meal, whether its a quick meal for two or a leisurely dinner. The staff are very friendly, the portions are good and the price is good, especially if you catch they're early bird. Its a little crowded sometimes, which I wouldn't usually like, but this kind of adds to the charm of the restaurant. I would recommend it and will be heading back there!

The Market Bar
Fade Street, City Centre South, Dublin

i think this place is great for a group and a little more pricey to eat individually. I was there for Christmas party the other night and for 15euro each for food we ate a mountain, from nachos heaped with sauces, chicken skewers, meatballs, cheese, cold meats, pate, dips, bread, the list goes on I was very impressed. I had originally thought I would be heading for a burger straight after when I heard we were going for tapas, but i was so full I didnt need to. The staff were very nice and the Christmas atmosphere was great fun. the end the bill came to 35 euro per person for food and drink, and we were all full and tipsy!

Saba To Go
13 Rathgar Road, Rathmines, Dublin

I love Saba to go, it is my favourite take away and tastes like proper restaurant quality food unlike many other take aways. The dumplings are not what u would typically expect but are really tastey. I was a little disappointed initially as I had been hoping for battered dumplings but I continue to order theirs and really like them. The thai yellow and sweet and sour are delicious and every time we have gotten it everyone is happy. some of the dishes are a bit too heavy on the sauce side, from a mess point of view but other than that I cannot complain, I have gotten saba about ten times now and cant wait to get it again tonight! As I have not eaten saba itself I have marked the atmosphere high and service, although it can take a while to arrive they always over estimate on the phone so its never as long as you think but I would recommend not to be starving ordering, just hungry!! as for value its not too expensive but its also not cheap, but its a treat!

Alfies
10 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here with the girls for birthday celebration and took advantage of their good early bird offer. Enjoyed the novelty of getting starter and main course at the same time. I had the pate and yellow chicken curry, both of which were delicious. everyone was happy with their food and the staff were very nice. I would like to go back. Great place for a group to eat.

Cortina’s Mexican Restaurant
The Pembroke District, Dundrum Town Centre, South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin

Was brought to Cortinas for my birthday by my boyfriend and really enjoyed it. The choice was excellent and we had a hard time picking so got the mixed plate to share, after a nachos starter. It was delicious and although it doesnt look like a lot of food when it arrives it was enough to make us both full. the desert was lovely and the cocktails were delicious. Although it was a Tuesday night there was a nice buzz about the place, although I would like to go back on a weekend night and think it would be a great place to go with a big group. will be returning!!

Gong Chinese Restaurant
8 Lower Kilmacud Road, South Dublin, Stillorgan, Dublin

After wanting to eat in Gong for ages I finally went with 6 friends and was not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Some items are pricey enough but overall it was worth it. I will certainly be going back to Gong.

Crackpots Restaurant & Pottery
3 Cork Street, Kinsale, Cork

The only problem with the restaurant is that it is SO good that I ate too much! Everything from the bread to the desert was amazing. I went with a group of 17 girls and still the service was great. I would highly recommend this restaurant. If you are in kinsale it is a must

Zaytoon (Lower Camden Street)
44-55 Lower Camden Street, Dublin 2, Camden Street, Dublin

Have never liked kebabs despite trying them many times in many different places and countries, but I cant stop going back here for their Chicken-Shish-Kebab! It is delicious and you can see that in how busy they always are but they deal with the crowds well and the food is great when drunk and sober!

Baan Thai (Leopardstown)
Central Park, Block P, Dublin 18, Leopardstown, Dublin

I have been to this restaurant about 5 times and I really enjoy it. I am always surprised by how busy it is every time I go because of its location but the food is really good. The staff are lovely but service can be slow when it is very busy.

Bahay Kubo
14 Bath Avenue, Sandymount, Sandymount, Dublin

Bahay Kubo had delicious food and a great atmosphere. The waiters were really friendly and the band were great fun. Dont expect a quiet atmosphere though! will be back soon and recommending it to others.
