Bloom Brasserie & Wine Bar

Had lunch with a friend in Bloom, she had pan fried cod and I had steak sandwich. Both dishes were yum!!! Service was good as ever. Definitely will go back again. Highly recommended.

Service is second to none. Food was good as always. It was a bit quiet for Thursday but no complains.

Cleaver East By Oliver Dunne
6-8 East Essex Street, , Temple Bar, Dublin 2 , Temple Bar, Dublin

Food was average. Staff were friendly but service wasn't worth to talk about. I asked to have my fried egg well-done, it came to me completely running, so I asked waitress to put a pan or stick in a microwave for a minute or two and it came back to me still running (as result of it, I couldn't eat it!) What's worth was the music, it was extremely loud to a point that I notice everyone was shouting at each other to have a conversation, even though they sit right across the table from one another. And the type of music was not suitable for a relaxing Sunday brunch but for a cocktail bar on a Saturday night. Lastly, we bought the menupages voucher for Sunday brunch for two people, and the exact same deal was offered by the restaurant for less the price. When I asked the restaurant reason why, their response was because menupages have to build in their commission for this offer. Completely misleading offer!!! I will not be recommending Cleaver East to anyone.

Canal Bank Cafe
146 Upper Leeson Street, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin

Food was good. Very busy during lunch time. Great venue for friends hanging out but not so much for a client dining. Recommended.

8A Brasserie
8A The Crescent, Monkstown, Monkstown, Dublin

Really nice restaurant. Quail starter was to die for, so was the warm goats cheese salad... Sea bass was yum too, very big portion. Owners were lovely people. Highly recommended and definitely will be back again.

Super Miss Sue
Units 2-3 Drury Street Car Park, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

First of all, SMS do not taking bookings for less than 6 people. Food was ok, Cervi fries and seaweed cabbage were very tasty however the sourdough was awful (over grilled and tasted bitter because the oil was over used or burnt). Overall, it was VERY much over priced for what it was!!! I don't think I will be rushing back there anytime soon.

Dax Cafe Bar
23 Pembroke Street Upper, City Centre South, Dublin

I was there a couple of weeks ago with a friend, food was great. So I went back again last Friday evening, the service was second to none, more importantly, the tapas and wine were just delicious. Definitely will visit again and highly recommended.

Russos
18 Dame Street,, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Friend of mine recommended Russo to me a few weeks ago, and we went there last Saturday for dinner. we didnt get the table we reserved until 45minutes later. there was a big table of looks like hens party, the noise they made was unbearable. we had to almost shout to order food. didnt get the wine i ordered, was replaced with something else but the staff insisted thats the one i ordered. (I drink the same wine all the time, surely i know what i was given is different) food was ok, but seafood pasta i ordered was very salty. dont think i will be recommend to anyone or rush back there again soon!

El Bahia Moroccan Restaurant
37 Wicklow Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

we went for dinner last Friday, and it was absolutely lovely. staff were very nice and friendly. even when the second sitting came they didnt rush us for finishing the wine. food is really tasty and generous portions too.... LOVE LOVE the lamb... one funny episode too, due to water shortage in the city, they told my partner that if he doesnt mind he can use the lady's while no one else is using it as they have no water in the gents which is another floor higher... fair enough... but then immediately one of the staff asked us if we would like to have some water while looking at menu... hmm... need i say anymore, we went on the vino straightway... definitely will go back there again.. next time i go with the FISH! Forgot to say, coffee is special... It's a MUST!

great value for their pre theater menu... we were there few weeks ago, it was lovely. staff were very friendly. food was gorgeous as always... i had monk fish and scallops... it was really tasty. chicken was nice... only thing was the mash potato, it had way too much of cream in them... way too luscious... desert was second to none... definitely go back there again...

F.X. BUCKLEY Steakhouse Pembroke Street
1A Lower Pembroke Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I was there with my family for my graduation dinner... the staff was really friendly and helpful. the meal was delish as always (I been there few times before) the stake was to die for as always. my mom had pork chop and she said it was very tasty and juicy... salmon was very tasty too. only pity was with the chips, they were bit salty for some reason... well we had 5 portions of chips on the table but only 2 of them were extremely salty the others were bearable salty... desert was ok. not too impressed with the bread and butter, but the mouse cake and pear icecream was yum! will definitely go back there again over xmas!!! its a great spot overall.
