Crackpots Restaurant & Pottery
3 Cork Street, Kinsale, Cork
Reviewed 19th August 2010 ( visited 11th July 2010 )By far the best restaurant in Kinsale! The Duck spring rolls are out of this world. The three fish mains we tried were so delicious. The dessert of Lemon and Ginger drizzle cake was one of the best I've ever had. Top marks!

Tramways Terrace, Old Garda Station, Douglas, Cork
Food is not bad, service is great. The Tandoori Sizzling Prawns and Pilau rice are a must. Peshwari naan looks a bit processed.
Riva Restaurant - Harolds Cross
53 Rathgar Avenue, South Dublin, Harolds Cross, Dublin
Fantastic meal in Riva. The food was great quality. I had an excellent haddock dish, cooked perfectly. Also enjoyed the coffee and friendly service. Nice romantic atmosphere. Great to have this locally!
Cafe Kylemore - Liffey Valley
Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, Liffey Valley, Dublin
Went last Saturday for a quick lunch with my friend. We both got the chicken, bacon and guacamole toasted wraps. With a student card we got 10% off. With really tasty americanos, it came to about €9. Tasty cheap food and good service.
Sweet Basil Thai
Lower Rathmines Road, South Dublin, Rathmines, Dublin
So cheap and really not bad. The atmosphere isn't great unfortunately but the food is pleasant enough, its fine for a casual meal. Had the spring rolls and Pad Thai and both were tasty and not too greasy. I'd come back...
26 Blooms Lane , Lower Ormond Quay, City Centre North, Italian Quarter, Dublin
Very standard Italian menu and a bit pricey. Got the Bruschetta and it wasn't great. The chicken salad was only OK.
80 Aungier Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Had a big family meal here. The steaks were excellent. The rib-eye was massive, but the men liked that! Wine and the mixed starter were great. Lovely service. Will have to save up for another visit here...
4B Montague Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Went here with all the girls! Was amazing value for the early bird menu! Such a good place for a large group for something thats tasty and sooo cheap! Had the samosas and Greek salad, both were yum! It's bring your own drink too so we saved an absolute fortune and brought whatever we liked, everyone really enjoyed it!
U11 East Village, Douglas, Cork
Went there with family on a sunday evening, there was a musician in the corner and all candlelit, very nice spot. Paella and wine were delish. I would definitely go back...
32 Washington Street, Cork City, Cork
Best place for brunch in Ireland. Almost always get the eggs benedict, its amazing! The interior is lovely and fresh. Tried the Halloumi cheese sandwich and the seared beef salad last time with a friend; the Halloumi was great but the beef in the salad was a bit tough. Lovely service...

Really surprisingly nice in this not so nice street. Lovely genuinely Italian atmosphere, really nice vino. Pasta dishes are fab but stay away from the salads!
Pavillion Centre, Royal Marine Road, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin
Had lunch here last Saturday with two friends. This is a great place to be when the sun is shining, the mood is chilled out and the view is fab. Unfortunately, none of us were impressed with the food and it was a bit pricey. We had the skewered prawns, chorizo pasta and chicken curry. Worth it for the view and sun I guess...
Bijou Bistro & Wine
46/47 Highfield Road, Dublin 6, Rathgar, Dublin
Had dessert here on Sunday evening, the mudpie was very different but delicious, i.e. the jaffa cake ice-cream! Great wine and cosy atmosphere...
The Winding Stair Restaurant
40 Lower Ormond Quay, Dublin 1 , City Centre North, Dublin
Really enjoyed this restaurant, went wit my boyfriend on Sunday. We went for the early bird which worked out well. We had the Duck liver and Halloumi cheese for starters and then the Pork fillet and Duck Confit for mains; the Duck liver and Duck Confit were delicious. The service was impeccable. Really nice romantic atmosphere there too.
Harry Street, St Stephens Green, Dublin
Fantastic experience yesterday evening! Lovely atmosphere and service was impeccable! The shrimp starter, the chicken and walnut salad and the knickerbocker glory were all delicious as was the pinot grigio. Full marks!
39 Ranelagh Village, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin
I went here for the second time a few weeks ago and it wasnt as good as I remembered. Quite pricy and a little boring. The Seabass was very plain and the presentation wasn't great, quite disappointing. Service was fine.
71-72 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Had lunch here one Sunday. Nothing too exciting, but the service and atmosphere were good.

Def one of my fave restaurants in Dublin, Cant fault it. The €25 for 3 courses deal is amazing value. The food and presentation are brilliant! The staff are really attentive and the atmosphere is great for a romantic meal! The menu changes regularly so its always a new experience.
