Via Veneto restaurant
58 Weafer Street, Enniscorthy, Wexford
Reviewed 08th March 2008 ( visited 10th November 2007 )An Italian Gem...Definitely the best Italian Restaurant I have ever had the pleasure to eat in. Staff really look after you, the food is excellent, full of flavour. Desserts are on display for you to see from the moment you walk through - & look (& taste) absolutely delicious...No matter how full you are after a fantastic meal; you will still HAVE to have a Dessert. I can't wait to go back.
Centenary Stores restaurant
Charlotte Street, Wexford Town, Wexford
Reviewed 08th March 2008 ( visited 08th January 2008 )I do enjoy the Stores for lunch & have done for years - BUT....if there is one thing that annoys me its menu's that don't state "exactly" what you get on your plate..eg..."Bangers & Mash" roughly described as Creamy Mashed Potato with 3 succulent sausages, fried onions & gravy....sounds great....except that when it arrived it was a little potato in the middle of the plate, (sausages on top) & a ton of vegetables including carrots, turnip & cabbage surrounding the potato, taking up most of the plate. There was no mention of vegetables on the menu with this dish - I don't eat those type of veg & it just really annoys me that they are piled on, presuming everyone eats veg!! Yes, I could have sent it back or scraped them off the plate but.....I shouldn't have to!
Country Kitchen Bistro
Main Street, Taghmon, Taghmon, Wexford
This place is a little gem!! Not the easiest place to spot in the village of taghmon but am so glad we did discovered it. The decor is lovely, suede/leather type seating, very modern, very clean. Great service. Good hearty food, well presented & good value. Very enjoyable.
Kilrane, Rossalre Harbour, Rosslare, Wexford
Love it, love it, love it. Have eaten here quite a lot & is really good, every time.
12 Commercial Quay., Wexford Town, Wexford
Springsteen's is a good addition to dining out in Wexford. Good, American style food which is nice but they could be more generous with their side orders, they give a small bowl of chips between 4 people which just isn't enough as the chips are yummy !!!
70a South Main Street, Wexford, Wexford Town, Wexford
I agree with previous review....for some reason this restaurant has decided to put an extra 2/3 euro on each of their dishes which is a considerable hike in price & way beyond inflation.......That is just pure greed & I have, after years of enjoying Lotus House, have personally boycotted it & started to enjoy a different, cheaper, just as good Chinese restaurant.
The Yard Restaurant
3 Lower George Street, Wexford Town, Wexford
This was my second visit to The Yard, decided to give it another chance as my first visit was not good, which was for brunch on a Sunday & I thought the menu was awful. Fortunately.... my second visit was much better which was for lunch on a weekday. It was gorgeous, very tasty & very well presented. Really good, friendly service, would definitely recommend it.
Wren's Nest Pub
Custom House Quay, Wexford, Wexford Town, Wexford
This is a great place for pub grub. Its one of the few places that's actually consistent with their good & food & service. Lovely, warm & cosy atmosphere. Always a pleasure to eat here. Deserves a mention as can't help thinking it goes a bit unnoticed in comparison to the more "trendy" pubs, which is a pity because its a hell of a lot better than any of them. Can't wait for my next visit.
Redmond Square, Wexford, Wexford Town, Wexford
Was at this restaurant for a birthday dinner. The decor etc is lovely, very "warm". The food is also really nice but unfortunately the service on this particular night was terrible. Maybe it was because it was a large table but really they should be used to serving large tables in such a restaurant, we waited a very long time in between courses & the waiter/waitresses were not very pleasant at all, one of them practically threw a plate of food on to the table & just turned & walked away without any apology. Very disappointing.
25 North Main Street, Wexford Town, Wexford
I was in Spain recently & you could have a cooked breakfast for only 2.50 euro.........so I just can't understand why we are sooooo ripped off in this country for everything, but especially food & this cafe is on the top of the list for over-pricing. A small cooked breakfast...& it IS small....is almost 6 euro........how?....why???? On a good note....service & atmosphere is good but there are plenty of other places not quite as expensive for the type of mundane food.
Unit 4 Redmond Square, Wexford Town, Wexford
Awful food. Is the worst chipper in the Wexford. They have "real" chips, not frozen, which is the only good thing. Everything else seems like its been re-heated over & over. The service is not great, could be a lot better.
The Chocolate Bar
Common Quay street, Wexford Town, Wexford Town, Wexford
Best place for soup...always lovely, home-made. Food is nice in general...only complaints I would have is that they are skimpy with the bread that comes with the soup & they bring your main course with your soup which is really bad as your food's gone cold by the time you've had your soup!!!! Other than that, I do like it.
Westgate Design Restaurant
22a North Main Street, Wexford Town, Wexford
Over-priced Cafe type food. Dried up looking main dishes eg, quiche & lasagna, heated in microwave & served with frozen chips!! The only thing good about the food is the All Day Breakfasts that they do. Also the service is terrible, the only efficient person is the one at the till & that's of course cause he's taking your money!!! And I really wish they would organise how they deliver the food to your table after you've ordered a bit better, like maybe give people a number to display on their tables or something.........to save the poor staff walking around the whole restaurant with plates full of food, looking for the person that ordered the dish they are walking around with...! Not impressed!
The Mail Boat @ Harbour View Hotel
Rosslare Harbour, Rosslare, Wexford
Best Chinese in the Harbour...Weird set up though - you order your Chinese take-away at the bar!!! Being a "towny" I found my first visit "different" to what I was used to. A wee bit off-putting to have the local "punters" stare at you while you are waiting for your food. But the food makes up for it. Just wish they would start doing deliveries though...

19 Main Street South, Wexford, Wexford Town, Wexford
I can't help being drawn to this restaurant over & over even though I always walk out dissatisfied about something. I've been going here on & off for years (since it was called "Golden Grill"). The menu is good but the quality of the food is not consistently good at all. The service is awful & I do agree with another reviewer that they over use Garlic in ALL their dishes - even the ones that shouldn't need it. The best thing about Robertino's is the home-made chips & the white coffee - which are about the only things that still taste good since the Golden Grill days - that is "If" you get your coffee after ordering it - if you even get to order it - once the staff have delivered your main course they seem to just completely forget you are there!!!
The Alamo Restaurant@ The Riverside Park Hotel
The Promenade, Enniscorthy, Wexford
Have only been here twice but both times were very nice. Great decor to suit the "tex-mex" type menu. Service was ok. Food was lovely. Will go back.

Who hasn't eaten in Mario's?? Everyone I know...Its a great Italian Restaurant, fab atmosphere, very relaxed, love the wine bar while you wait to be seated...added bonus. Never had a bad meal & have brought people here many times & never any complaints. Great spot.
26 Trimgate Street, Navan, Meath
Nice surroundings, good food, good portions, very friendly staff.........Nice!
43 Watergate Street Navan, Navan, Meath
This is by far the best restaurant in the world - yes the world - I've been around the world & have never got a good, honest to God feed like I've got in The Valley on numerous occasions. Unfortunately I'm not around Navan anymore but whenever anyone mentions passing through it, I ALWAYS recommend they eat in The Valley, their menu is huge & there is something for everyone no doubt. It more than deserves the highest rating. Top Notch.
