I went to Saba with my Mum last Wednesday evening. We didn't have a booking but they accommodated us. We only had a main and dessert and as usual, the food was fantastic. I had the Massaman curry and loved it. It was a Wednesday night but the place was full but I love how it never feels cramped even at full capacity.

We were in Tapas section. Fun and lively place to go out. Large menu but some dishes a little overpriced considering the size of the dish for sharing. I loved the Prawn tempura and Goats logs. We overstayed our allocated time (lost track of time) but staff did not kick us out. I did find them a little too attentive in the 1st hour, almost to the point of rushing us but I guess when we ran over on time, they eased off. Overall, a good experience.

The Left Bank Bistro
Fry Place, Athlone, Westmeath

I was very impressed with the food, it was well presented and tasty. I thought the mains were a little on the expensive side but you do get beautiful food and sides come with. I would definately go back.

Eden Bar and Grill
7 South William Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

I went with a group of friends and we ate from the Early Birdy menu. The selection was great and the food was beautiful. I went off the EB menu for the dessert. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I would definately go back.

Rustic Stone
South George's Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

We popped into The Rustic Stone by chance on Wednesday evening. They kindly accommodated us with a table for 1.5 hours as they had another reservation at 8.30. The service was outstanding and the restaurant filled up very quickly. We just had the bread and dips to start (beautiful presentation) and I got the burger, which was also beautifully presented. The menu was lovely and had a wide range of prices. I was a little disappointed that their salads did not include chicken or some other form of meat as I would definitely have had one of their salads because they looked divine. The manager was very pleasant about reminding us when our time was up and we did not feel rushed. I will be back and this time for a full meal.

The Porterhouse (North )
Cross Guns Bridge, Glasnevin, Dublin

Great place and lovely menu. I eat here often enough if I am meeting friends mid week for a catch up. Its relaxed, staff are always friendly and the menu is good. I love their burgers and pizzas. Good beer, if you are partaking. Its a good place to watch sports too, if you are into that. I will definately be returning

Koh
6-7 Jervis Street, Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin

I was in Koh last Saturday night for the first time. I was not expecting a great experience as Valentines usually means conveyor belt type service, however, I did not feel rushed at all. The staff were very friendly and not standing over the table waiting for us to finish every course. The venue itself is lovely and despite it being very busy on Saturday night, we didn't feel cramped. I had the Mussels to start, they were beautiful. My boyfriend ordered the Satay skewers but he was not as impressed as he felt they were quite small. I had the Masaman curry for main and loved it. We skipped dessert and opted for the cocktails instead, a good choice as they were lovely. When we finished our meal, we moved out to the bar which is spacious and relaxed. I will definately be going back to Koh.
