This place is excellent as usual. Very nice and professional staff, we had the early bird menu which was a really good value. I would definitely recommend to go to this place if you like this type of cuisine.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. The quality of food is just amazing, the wine selection is great. The desserts are unfortunately not as good as the rest of the courses, they are still very nice but definitely not at the same level as other courses. As said in multiple reviews, the only complain is about the design and the atmosphere, it is totally outdated and the restaurant needs an URGENT revamping.

Fabulous place, really good and friendly service and really fine and tasty food. Highly Recommended. The early bird menus are the best quality/price value ever

Canteen Celbridge
4 Main Street, Celbridge, Kildare

Really good spot! A must Try! Really friendly and professional staff, nicely decorated place with taste and delicious gastronomic dishes. Well Done Guys Even-though value/price is still great, it's a pity that the set menu at 39€ was removed. Highly recommended! :D

Barracuda
Strand Road, Bray, Wicklow

Nice sea view restaurant, food quality is ok but not amazing. Service is however quite poor. We went there this Sunday, only two tables taken in the restaurant and we had to wait 20min once plate removed between each course!

Aqua Restaurant
1 West Pier, Howth, Dublin 13, Howth, Dublin

Superb seaview restaurant. It really feels like you are above the sea. Nice and clean design, nice staff and ok food. Nothing special but still worth going for the view.

Luna
2-3 Drury Street, South William Street, Dublin

Nice and warm place. Staff is nice however very long waiting time between courses. Main negative point the value: as mentioned in previous comment, you pay the price of a Michelin star restaurant and the quality is definitely not Michelin Star. The food is good but IMO you should be paying half of the requested price.

Da Mario
Maynooth Road, Celbridge, Kildare

Food is usually quite good in this place, specially the fresh pasta. Pizzas are ok but not fab neither. Service is most of the time very good and staff take really good care of their clients.

Delhi Darbar (Celbridge)
Main Street, Above Village Inn, Celbridge, Kildare

The atmosphere and food in this place are both quite good. Plenty of space between table and nice design. However during our last visit the service was a disaster, we had to wait 45min between each meal and had to call for waitress multiple times.

Aobaba
46A Capel Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Really good value for price paid! Food there is always fresh and very tasty. The Wonton soup (7€) is really big and full of flavors!

Amuse Restaurant
22 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

We visited this restaurant with my wife and we were both really impressed with the food quality. The portions are indeed a bit small but if you take the Amuse Tasting Menu you will get many dishes and you will definitely be full at the end of the dinner. The only tiny complaints would be around the waitress who is really nice and professional however her accent makes it really hard to understand the dish explanations. There is another waiter who was extremely good and professional. The other slight disappointment is around the bread, usually in such places, you get some really nice sample of breads where here you only get bread after two starters and it's only one slice of standard bread. Overall, really good experience and we would definitely return to this place.

The Pig's Ear
4 Nassau Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

Average food for price paid. Quite unfriendly staff. Menu has dishes with bacon dices and grated cheddar, one of us asked if it was possible to add any of these ingredients to the potato mash part of the side options. The waiter response was direct and unfriendly saying that no change to the menu was possible, so we asked for a small bowl of grated cheddar, again same response: Not possible. I find this attitude not acceptable for a place with such menu prices.

Wrights Anglers Rest
Strawberry Beds, West Dublin, Dublin 20, Chapelizod, Dublin

I used to like this place however since few months we can clearly see that the business took a new direction (new staff and new menu). The staff quality is clearly below what it used to be. This restaurant had a perfect service, now it's below standard. The food was unfortunately below average, and could clearly see the cost saving mind. Steak (frozen and bad quality), duck pate was nice and tasty, now it looks straight from the can.

Musashi Noodles and Sushi (IFSC)
Unit 2 Burton Hall, Custom House Square, Mayor St, IFSC, Dublin

We organised a work dinner on Friday evening at this place and we got nothing but great food and perfect service. The dishes (Sushi and Ramen) are really tasty and fresh, the interior design is nice and stylish and the service was perfect (very friendly and helpful staff) I would definitely recommend this place

Canal Bank Cafe
146 Upper Leeson Street, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin

I would not recommend this place due to its staff. We decided to try the Canal Bank Cafe as it was recommended by the Tribeca Restaurant (as being its sister restaurant). We went there on Sunday evening for 9pm. The positive note is that the chicken wings are the same delicious ones as for the Tribeca, the interior design is nice and the rest of the food is quite good quality. Now, the negative point: the service was ATROCIOUS. A lady was taking care of us and after few minutes we could clearly see that the quicker we would be leaving the restaurant the best it will be. No smile, annoyed face anytime we requested something (ie: sour cream with wings instead of blue cheese, water,...). She started removing our plates before we even finished them and left only one plate on the table for the person who was still eating and at the end gave us the bill without asking if we wanted to have desert. For this reason, I would NOT recommend this place and Tribeca (which is a lovely restaurant with great staff) should be ashamed of calling this place a sister restaurant.

The GreenHouse
Dawson Street, Dublin City Centre, Dawson Street, Dublin

I loved this place, really good atmosphere (not too posh) and amazing food. The only negative (or not so good) point if any, would be about the wine. I asked the waitress to choose glasses of different wines going well with my dishes and out of 3, 2 were clearly not tasting good. But the overall quality was excellent, the food is definitely a very high standard and it deserves a Michelin Star, I would definitely recommend this place.

Greedy Goose
15 Townyard Lane, Malahide, Malahide, Dublin

This is my second time in this restaurant, the first time (6months ago) was ok, this time was a total disaster. We went to the Greedy Goose this Saturday for lunch time at 4 adults. The place was freezing cold, the temperature was so low that all customers kept wearing their jackets. I had to ask twice for the heating to be switched on. Only 4 tables taken and the service was a total disaster: 15min minimum between each dish and not served in the same order and at the same time to everybody. The food was ok but not amazing neither (some dishes not warm anymore) And to conclude, we got charged 10% service charge, I definitely do not recommend this place

TriBeCa
65 Ranelagh Village, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin

One of my favourite places in Dublin and definitely the best chicken wings I ever had. Nice and relax atmosphere, nice wine selection, highly recommended.

profile_review

Brownes Steakhouse
The Plaza, Blanchardstown Village, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

Good value for money during week lunch however, really bad smoke odor extraction. Steaks are cooked on the stone at the table, this creates a LOT of smoke, our clothes were smelling of grilled meat the rest of the day.

Taste of Emilia
No. 1 Lower Liffey Street, City Centre North, Dublin

Very nice place with typical Italian atmosphere. Lovely food, we had a huge cured meat and cheese platter. Will definitely go back there again!

profile_review

Nandos Swords
Swords Pavilions, Swords, Dublin

I really can't see why people like this "restaurant". It feels like a fast food, and the chicken is probably the worst I ever ate. Tried once and never again

Maximilians Bistro
Superquinn Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

We used to go to this place often and the quality was really good (especially for the pizza). But our last 2 visits were very disappointing... we had the impression that the chef had been replaced because the food quality was not the same at all. Food was completely tasteless (pizza and pasta)

profile_review

Fade Street Social - The GastroBar
4-6 Fade Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

This place is great if you want to taste small portions of different dishes. The quality of food is quite good however the quantity is really small for the price paid. The service and the staff is really nice. Recommended for an early dinner

Matt The Thresher Seafood Bar and Grill
31/31 Lower Pembroke Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We've been to this place this week and one word would summarise this place: TOURISM SCAM The "seafood platter" is a disgrace! It shouldn't even been called that name. You pay 30€ and this is what you get: 8 slices of cheap smoked salmon (not even served at fresh temperature), 4 cheap crab claws tasteless, shred crab meat, and 4 oysters. Oysters should ALWAYS be ultra Fresh and open just before eating them. These oysters were not Fresh, already dead (easy to see when you put lemon on them) and totally milky, I tried one and didn't touch the others. For a so called "Fish Specialist" that's a shame! The only positive note was the service which was really good, the staff was friendly and professional.

Taste of Emilia
No. 1 Lower Liffey Street, City Centre North, Dublin

One of the best price/value restaurant/cafe I have discovered ! Really authentic Italian food (cured meat and cheese), really nice staff and good wine.

profile_review

La Banca Ristorante
Main Street, Lucan Village, Lucan, Dublin

Just back from this place, general feeling: Highly Overpriced ! The design of the place is ok, the dishes look ok but we had uncooked pasta and overcooked salmon. 2 main courses and 1 starter with no drink: 60€ ! I wouldn't advise anybody to go to this place

profile_review

Mr Wu Asian Restaurant
4 Saint Laurence Rd, West Dublin, Chapelizod, Dublin

Excellent Asian take away ! Really good service ! Little improvement could be done with the Restaurant part to make it a bit "warmer" but it's already really good for this value !

profile_review

Brownes Steakhouse
The Plaza, Blanchardstown Village, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

I have been visiting this place few times and I have to say that the value for such quality of meat is really good. The fillet beef on the stone is delicious however the sides could be a lot better! The staff is very friendly which is always appreciable. The other thing that could be improved is the way the room is designed by adding fans, when you leave the restaurant your clothe will always smells of grilled meat.

profile_review

TriBeCa
65 Ranelagh Village, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin

I discovered for the first time the famous Chicken Wings of Tribeca and I have to say they're worth every penny ! They are definitely the BEST WINGS I ever had ! The staff was also really good and friendly The only downside could be with the "gambas". My wife choose to try them and although they were not too bad Prawns they have nothing to do with a real Gambas (which is 3 times the size of these prawns). Anyway, just for the quality of the chicken wings and the friendly staff I would highly recommend to try this place.

Pearl Brasserie
20 Merrion Street Upper, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

As we already knew and were very satisfied with the Lock restaurant, we decided to give a try to its brother restaurant THE PEARL. The staff was extremely friendly and professional, we were given a very nice table beside a nice fish tank. The food was REALLY good, my main course was Perfect (turbot filet with foie gras). As a dessert, I took the mango/passion fruit ice cream which was also really good. I would definitely recommend this place for a special night !

profile_review

El Bahia Moroccan Restaurant
37 Wicklow Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went there twice and to be honest it's far to be a "real" Moroccan restaurant! The good: - Service - Location - Staff The Bad: - The food ! (The couscous is definitely not good and the Tajine just ok) After trying Moroccan restaurants in Morocco and in France, I can say that this one is quite disappointing...

profile_review

Thornton's Restaurant
1st, The Fitzwilliam Hotel, 128 St Stephen's Green, City Centre South, Dublin

Second time we re going to this restaurant and it was again AMAZING !!! We decided to give a try at the Pre Theater menu and Wow ! It's a great value ! 47€ for this kind of food is almost unreal ! The service was perfect with a very nice staff and the food exceeding our expectation ! Definitely my favorite Dublin restaurant ! :-D

profile_review

Wrights Anglers Rest
Strawberry Beds, West Dublin, Dublin 20, Chapelizod, Dublin

This place is just fantastic ! The service is amazing, staff always here to help you and ready to advise you on meals. The value is also perfect, the quality of food is great! I love the atmosphere, always the fire places on and typical bands playing in a corner. I would DEFINITELY recommend this restaurant to anybody for a real Irish experience!

profile_review

Rustic Stone
South George's Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

Went there with a group of 10 and we were all pretty disappointed with this place. We were seating in the lower level and the smoke and smells all around us was pretty annoying. Regarding the food, same thing, pretty disappointing. The starter was served to myself uncooked (Quail) after asking for a better cooked one, I got 10min later even worse! And the dessert.... one out of four was not available and the ice cream sorbet was.... very interesting (not in a good way)

profile_review

Locks Brasserie
No. 1 Windsor Terrace, South Dublin, Portobello, Dublin

Pablo Picante - Clarendon Market
4 Clarendon Market, Between Clarendon Row & South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Just discovered this hidden place and really loved it ! The value is great and the food quality perfect! We had the quesadillas and they were just amazing ! The sauces were also really nice. I would definitely recommend this spot if you wanna get a real Mexican taste.

Okra Green Castleknock

According to me the Best Kebab in Dublin! Nice staff, no long waiting to get your food, taste and look always fresh. Excellent value for the quality.

profile_review

Chez Max (Baggot Street)
133 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

We went to this restaurant last Wednesday with friends, the service and atmosphere were both really good but being French (and knowing French food) I can tell you that the food in this restaurant is REALLY poor quality! The steaks are frozen ones, the boeuf bourguignon is tasteless and the dessert are not any better. For the price paid, there is a lot better in town if you like French cuisine.

profile_review

Hilan Chinese & Korean Restaurant
45 Capel Street, City Centre North, Dublin

I'm a huge fan of this restaurant. The staff is always ultra friendly, ready to help you and gives you good advices on meals. The prices are really good for quality food. Highly recommended ! :)

profile_review

Les Freres Jacques
74 Dame Street, Dublin City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Highly disappointed by this restaurant. We heard so much about this restaurant however we can say, that after going there, this restaurant is definitely over rated! The food is good but the atmosphere and the interior design is really bad. The restaurant needs to be refurbished big time! For the price paid, I would definitely recommend others.

profile_review

Olesya's Wine Bar
18 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

What we liked: - Very wide choice of wines - Nice location - Nice interior design - Tasty food with very nice plate presentation - Friendly staff What we didn't like: - We went twice to this place, the waiter was nice but during both of our visits he was unfortunately smelling really bad. (alcohol and cigarette probably) - Slightly overpriced

profile_review

Taco Taco
Unit 19 Epicurean Food Hall, Liffey Street Lower, City Centre North, Dublin

Amazing typical food for the price paid. Friendly staff as usual. Definitely one of my favorite spots ! Would love them to open a real restaurant !
