Wrights Findlater Howth Restaurant
Findlater House, North Co. Dublin, Howth, Dublin

Visited here having booked to use our menu pages voucher and we were delighted with the meal. The bar was quiet when we got there about 7pm mostly couples, we got starters to supplement the mains and brilliant choice on the menu. Went for the mussels followed by the hake and it was perfect. Well worth a visit and see you again.

Soulful Bistro
46 Manor Street, North Dublin , Stoneybatter, Dublin

Called here with a voucher and I can say that we were not disappointed. Great attentive service, from friendly staff and food which was delicious was served promptly, the only little "gripe" is that the cheese board was a little scarce,, HOWEVER what makes up for this was when I noticed a staff member write out the specials menu for an elderly lady who had some hearing difficulty- to you I say well done and best of luck with your studies in colaiste D. Overall a lovely experience.

The Pembroke
23 Pembroke Street Upper, City Centre South, Dublin

We went for lunch and arrived about 2pm, very busy but a little bit noises, I had the soup/sandwich combination, soup could have been a little warmer, while my wife had the Guinness stew which was excellent. Followed up by delicious coffee, overall very happy with our visit.

Stanley's
7 St Andrews Street, City Centre South, Dublin

We visited here today for lunch, and we were seated upstairs at the window with a great view of Andrews St. Excellent choice on the menu, I had the smoked mackerel followed by chicken, and vanilla panna cotta to finish, my wife had Foie gras, hake and the chocolate torte with mango sorbet to finish. The restaurant was spotless as were the pleasant and helpful staff. Overall excellent value for €30 (which included quality coffee), ant this spot gets a BIG thumbs up from us and it's on the return list. Ps loved the apron.

Masterson's Steakhouse & Wine Bar
17 Main Street, Swords, Dublin

Work group met up here, for some it was their first experience of Mastersons, and they have said "we will be back". Restaurant was bust, but no real delays with wine or food, thanks to very efficient staff. Hag the sizzling prawns for starters just fabulous, and steak was perfect. In short good food good value and great staff, well done.

Stop off here at 7pm, greeted by friendly staff who were attentive but not pushy. Decor and location was wonderful. Starters main course, desert, coffee and drinks(4) for €63 is brilliant value.

Siam Thai (Malahide)
1 The Green, North Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

We dined here last night, had a booking for 9.30pm and when we arrived we were asked to have a drink at the bar, as our table was not ready but did not get a table until 10.00pm, that's bad enough but I had to return my beer as it was flat, no issue with the bar man he just pulled another pint for me. When we got our table it was another wait for our menu, then we ordered I went for the Siam combo and green chicken curry, my wife had prawn/chicken cakes and the parang curry with sea bass, she was told when she ordered that it did not come with anything so ok. I ordered another beer but when delivered the lad removed my drink which was not yet finished. Yes it had live music which I believe was too loud, and ruined the atmosphere, not sure about the "fully enclosed " smoking area, thought there was something about being 75% open. Anyway when it came to pay the bill I raised the issue with the staff member who got me a manager, her response wuss to apologise and offer us a drink, which I declined, I stated I would review the restaurant on Menu Pages, and suddenly the cost of drinks were removed from our bill. I paid my bill with a voucher and I was refunded the change in cash (€83) which left us feeling that we were not valued. In conclusion I say I found the restaurant noisey, over priced and over rated I mean €24.75 for a Panang curry on its own is extortion, we will never return here and thankfully had not booked our christmas party for this location. My opinion this was poor, very poor.

Shanard Restaurant @ the Regency Hotel
Swords Road, North Dublin, Drumcondra, Dublin

We were here the day after the All Ireland, and the place was buzzing. There was a queue to the restaurant so we were offered a nice table in the bar area, good choice and very good value, and the manager checked on us twice to see if everything was ok. I had the steak which was perfect, and nice serving suggestion, my wife had the chicken curry served half/half great sized portion. This place is a hidden gem.

El Chico Mexicano Restaurant
24 The Plaza, North Dublin, Swords, Dublin

We visited here at 7.15pm counted 4 other tables in the restaurant, my wife ordered the three tapas, and I went for the mole chicken, (no starters) BUT it took 50 minutes to get served - I would hate to be there if the restaurant was busy. The food was excellent as was the service, however music was too loud, no early bird or specials menu, and the wine list is expensive. Sorry not on the return list.

Samphire
The Waterside House Hotel, Near Swords, Donabate, Donabate, Dublin

We arrived here and our table Was ready, we were seated at the window, what a fabulous setting. Nice wine list and good value, We had the set 4course menu and no issues with the choice on the menu or indeed the size of the portions. We had pate and fish cakes for starters, followed by rack of lamb and salmon. Staff were attentive and polite, and overall I was very happy with the experience. Try it you won't regret it.

Masterson's Steakhouse & Wine Bar
17 Main Street, Swords, Dublin

Dined here on Friday night, got there for 8.30pm, restaurant was busy and staff were attentive. Both of us went for rib eye steak, and no regrets, good choice on the wine list and not bad value. When we return we will dine a bit earlier as the restaurant can get crowded and some noises groups

Le Bon Crubeen
81-82 Talbot Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

We visited this restaurant with another couple, using a voucher. No difficulty with staff who allowed us have a drink at the bar until our table was ready. Food wise good choice of food which was served promptly- only negative we were never offered or asked regarding side orders, restaurant was busy and worth another chance.

The Curragower seafood bar
The Curragower Seafood Bar, Clancy Strand, Co Limerick, Limerick City, Limerick

We frequented here having visited the castle. Even though prawns were available on the menu, it was not possible to get an open prawn sandwich. I had the club sandwich which was good but that's as far as it goes. The restaurant is in a brilliant location but the out door area was dirty, and a complete turn off,

Cornstore (Limerick)
19 Thomas Street, Limerick City, Limerick

We called in when in Limerick didn't have a booking but a very efficient staff member (Jason) arranged a table for us, nothing was a problem and have to say one of the best meals that we ever got. The restaurant was very busy but despite this no delay in being served and the menu offered a good variety combined with great value. Well done to all a place well worth a re visit.

McGoverns Malahide
The diamond, Main Street , North Co. Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

Visited here with another couple, what a lovely location, Great variety on the menu and portions were decent size and well presented, actually the seafood starter could have been a main course on its on. The restaurant was busy but service was quick and friendly. Noticed that a lot of people went for the steak, as I did myself. Overall very happy with this restaurant and it's on the list for "revisiting"

Coachmans Inn
Airport Road, Cloghran, Dublin

Decided to dine here while waiting for a delayed flight, had the carvery excellent value and good decent sized portions from friendly staff. Lucky for us we just got in ahead of two tour buses so no delay, plenty of parking in a good location, but the premises seemed a bit worn and could do with a tidy up inside and out.

Raffs on the Corner
65/67 Church Street, North Co. Dublin, Skerries, Dublin

Got here about 8pm on a Saturday night and the place was busy, but we didn't have to wait any length to get a table. The waitress suggested we wait in the very comfortable waiting area beside the open fire. Both my wife and I had the steak on a stone, served with side salad chips and three sauces, lovely presentation and great value. Staff were excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxing, even had live music from a group called the Hitmen. Brilliant location well worth the visit.

Boulevard Cafe
27 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Visited here with my wife, availed of the early bird menu which was good value, Atmosphere and service good, only gripe food could have been a little warmer, restaurant was cold due to the front door, and the table leaned like the leaning tower of pizza. Apart from that we were happy with the restaurant and will return.

Andersons Foodhall & Café
3 The Rise, Glasnevin, Glasnevin, Dublin

Met up with a friend and went to Anderson's, no complaints we were given a window seat, and the waiter was very professional with a great knowledge of the menu. Great atmosphere and location, and we were pleasantly surprised with the bill, when it arrived, Anderson's is a little gem hidden away, but now that I found it the secrets out. We'll worth a visit.

The Old Schoolhouse (Dublin)
Coolbanagher Church Road, North Co. Dublin, Swords, Dublin

Visited here as we passed through Swords, selected from the bar menu, good choice, I went for the chicken and my partner had the vegetable enchilada, which were perfect. Service was a bit slack, as the table next to us which ordered after us got served first, and we had to ask twice for some water, but apart from that all was ok. Good value and we will visit again.

Gourmet Food Parlour Swords

The Dandelion Restaurant
1st floor, Unit 4, Main Street , Swords, Swords, Dublin

Visited the restaurant today, using our menu pages voucher, place was spotless, waiter was friendly helpful and courteous, but the restaurant itself was "lacking" in atmosphere, possible suggestion to help might be to open back the net curtains, add a few wall lights/candles. The food was excellent, nice sized portions and good variety on the menu.
