La Cave
28 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I return to this wine bar again and again and I have yet to be disappointed. Its great location, just off Grafton st, and its fantastic value for great quality food. The early bird is great, the mussels are a personal favourite. If you are a wine lover this is for you. Huge choice of wines by the glass. This is great for an early evening early bird or a late night bite with wine. I think the wine bar is open until 2am at weekends. They also provide wine tasting evenings during the week and the room upstairs is very suitable for private parties. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Ouzos Bar and Grill Blackrock
Main Street, South Co. Dublin , Blackrock, Dublin

I came here on a Wednesday evening without a booking. We immediately got a lovey table. We had a choice of 2 early bird menus and the a la carte. From the superior early bird I had the potted crab and seafood linguini for mains. This was complemented by a caraf of resaonably prices sauvingon blanc. It was busy enough for mid week, you can tell that it has a real local athmosphere with returning customers. Being a local myself I will definitately be back for the gorgeous and reasonably priced food and wine.
