I absolutely love the port house. It has a great atmosphere with lots of candles and brick walls - very romantic. It is a bit cramped but if you get there early (they don’t take reservations) you can get a good table. Food and service and very good as well and the small portions still fill you up quiet nicely.

Wagamama - Stephen's Green
St Stephen's Green Centre, South King St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I have been to Wagamama almost every Tuesday for lunch for the past weeks and I love it. The service is good, food is served quickly and its not expensive. Lunch offers include a drink and a main course for 10 Euro. I really like their rahmen soups. They are great portions and taste fantastic. The fish dishes are not really my favourites and the side dishes can be disappointingly small. I loved the vegetable dumplings fried ... Yumm!

Fallon and Byrne
11-17 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Fallon and Byrne have a wine bar downstairs and a restaurant upstairs. The wine bar is much cosier but can be a bit loud when its really busy. You can get your food at the counter in the supermarket and take it to the bar or order from the menu they have. The food is very basic (cheese platters, pasta etc.) but nice. The wine menu is great and on Mondays they have a special deal. You can buy a bottle of wine in the bar and pay a small corkage fee and enjoy it with your dinner. The upstairs restaurant has a simple lunch menu. I thought the portions were small and the food not really great but not bad either.

Farm Restaurant (Dawson Street)
3 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

I really enjoyed the farm. The place is nice and you have a enough space for once in a restaurant in Dublin. The food was very nice as well and they had an all day "early bird" menu with very reasonable prices.

Metro Cafe
43 South William Street, South William Street, Dublin

I enjoyed the Metro cafe. The food and service was really good. Not great but very good. The coffee is a bit weak for my taste and I the place is a bit cramped.
