No lunch menu, no athmosphere, restaurant was freezing had to leave our coats on during entire meal, cramped tables coffee lukewarm. Asked for tint bit of cheese pizza was full of cheese. AND INSULT TO INJURY 5%service charge added to bill. Avoid this place, lots of really good value restaurants in area that deserves the custom.

Chrysanthemum Chinese Restaurant
Unit 1 Old Orchard Inn, Butterfield Ave, Dublin 14, Rathfarnham, Dublin

This place has really hit rock bottom, myself and my husband ate here on a Saturday night I ordered prawn dish which was watery and bland but my husbands chicken was rotten I mean really off when we called over the waitress she said I will get you another with fresh chicken as though she knew it was old (her words), we declined . They very nicely deducted the meal my husband was nearly poisoned with and didn't eat. Will never darken the door again. As we were leaving there was an obnoxious smell of blocked drains. Woeful experience.

Absolutely terrible meal here, spare ribs were fatty and luke warm, main course was tasteless meant to be prawns with ginger and scallion was served 4 prawns in a shed load of fried onions dreadful, my husband got a chicken dish which had so much msg he could only take a mouthful it was so so salty. Wont be back needless to say

JD's Steakhouse
4 Rathfarnham Road, Dublin 6W, Terenure, Dublin

Went here on a voucher, the athmosphere was non existent the restaurant itself was absolutely freezing never took my coat off the entire meal service hit and miss one friendly waiter the other not a word or a smile. The food was mediocre got the diep fried cheese to start served lukewarm and did not ooze out when cut into as it should instead had to slice it. Steak was nice but pepper sauce was bland, it was too cold to stick around for desert. Would not go back.

China Sichuan
The Forum, Ballymoss Road, Dublin 18 , Sandyford, Dublin

Had lunch here yesterday with my husband and we were both bitterly disappointed. We both ordered the spring rolls to start, they were soaking in grease and totally tasteless and served with a syrurpy soy sauce. For main course I had sweet and sour chicken this arrived as deep fried chiken balls with absolutely no veg and a brown coloured sauce served seperately, absolutely awful, and once again greasy. My husband fared a little bit better he ordered the kung po chicken which was littered with cashew nuts and overpowered with ginger to give it some taste. The wine list is very expensive and any of the more reasonable wines are inferior. Will we return? NEVER AGAIN!
