We had a lovely meal at Mulino's on Friday. The service is great, really friendly. We had 3 starters, the crostini, soup of the day, and mini fish & chips. All were really delicious, the only thing I would say is that they are big portion sizes for starters. For mains we had pizza, rump of lamb & penne ariabiata. Again these were amazing. It was a quick visit for us, so we didn't indulge in any wine, or tea/coffee. The price of the bill was excellent, especially considering the meal sizes were big. Will definitely return soon.

Yamamori Noodles
71-72 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Love this restaurant and try to get back to it often. Service is fast, efficient and friendly, even when it's really busy. As a vegetarian I find the selection to be great, lots of choice (I especially love the Roasted Veg curry, its delicious). My husband loves the Bento Box, and its variety. Looking forward to my next visit.

Pulcinella's Secret
30 Church St, Howth, Howth, Dublin

My husband & I had a lovely meal here last night. I had Bruschetta Tricolore to start, which was delicious. My husband had the Fritto Misto ( A medley of deep fried Italian specialties). Both were big portions. For mains we had Parmiggiana di Melenzane (Battered Aubergine with cheese & tomato) & Orata al Cartoccio (Oven baked mixed seafood). The seafood was really fresh and tasty. For desert we decided on ice cream, and tiramasu. Both we lovely. Would recommend Pulcinella's, and will definately return soon.

My husband & I had a lovely pre Valentines dinner at Salamanca last night. We availed of the brilliant offer on menupages. The food is delicious, my husband had the calamari and prawns, and throughly enjoyed them. He said they were really fresh and tasty. I had tha spanish omelette and the patas brava. Also lovely. They have a nice selection of wines too. We went for a bottle of Rose, which was yummy. Staff are amazing, really friendly and efficient. Will definately return with some friends in the near future.

Il Sorriso Restaurant
New Street, North Co. Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

We popped in to Il Sorriso last Monday after work. I've never been here before, but am looking forward to returning soon. We availed of the Early Bird offer, 2 courses with tea/coffee. I had the bruschetta to start, which was lovely but really galicy and pizza for mains which was huge and really delicious, nice and crispy too. My husband had chicken wings to start and the chicken spagetti for mains, he enjoyed both too, although the pasta was extremely garlicy too. Will return soon as the food was great, service was fast, efficent and friendly. Early Bird offer was 16.95, brilliant!!!

Casa Pasta (Howth)
12 Harbour Road, Howth, Dublin

Casa Pasta in Clontarf was really busy this night, so to avoid disappointment we drove out to the branch in Howth. It was empty except for a family of 4, who were practically finished when we arrived. The service was only ok. Two waitresses on duty. When 2 of their friends arrived, they seemed to forget we were there. We had orderd the brie, which when it was ready to be brought to us, was left sitting on the counter, while the chef called out several times for the waitress to come get it!! Had to stop from collecting it myself!! It wasn't great, was still a bit cold in the middle. Our pizza wasn't great either, smaller in size than usual, burnt crust, and just ok. The offer here is 22 euro for 2 course. In the Clontarf branch its 22 euro for 3 course! Whats that about!!! Won't be returning here again suprisingly enough

The Nuthouse
Howth Road, North Dublin, Clontarf, Dublin

Went to the Nuthouse last Thursday for some lunch. We were not disappointed. We decided on panninis, mine was roasted vegetable and cheese. It was delicious. Very fresh and crispy, I sometimes find it can be hit or miss with paninnis but they got it spot on. The staff were really friendly and service was quick. Will be going back soon to sample the dinner meun.

Indigo Lounge
Clontarf Castle, Clontarf, Clontarf, Dublin

I had lunch in the Indigo lounge last friday, and have to say it was really nice. I ordered a sesame panini with salad and cheese and a side order of chips. Really tasty and just what you'd want for a lunch. They also had a selection of sandwiches, plain or toasted and burgers too. Deserts looked gorgeous too, but I was way too full after my lunch! Will def be back again for lunch and maybe dinner and drinks some night soon. Great atmostphere and friendly staff, and good value for money.

Little Venice
Old Airport Road, North Dublin, Santry, Dublin

Have not been here for a couple of years, but it seems to have improved a lot. Service is great, really friendly. Had bruscetta and garlic mushrooms for starters, really delicious. Pizza for main, it was huge, had to bring half of it home, and it reheated really well. Couldn't fit in desert, but they looked gorgeous. And they have cocktails too. Very reasonable, and will defo return soon.

Pacinos
18 Suffolk Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Had a nice dinner with my mam in Pacinos on a Thursday evening. Good early bird for 20 euro, starter, main and desert. We had garlic mushrooms, which came with a yummy garlic mayo for starters. For my main, I had the pasta Napolitana, which was ok, could have done with a bit more flavour. My mam had the Pollo A La Funghi, chicken fillet in creamy mushroom and mozzarella sauce, and she enjoyed it. Deserts were strawberry cheese cake, and chocolate biscuit cake. Both were gorgeous, really delicious. The waitress who served us was extremely friendly and efficient, and the food overall was really nice. I noticed they also have a lunch menu, and I'm planning to return to try this soon. The waitress was telling us that on Saturday nights they have Salsa dancing and music downstairs when the restaurant is closed. Will definately be back with the girls for that!!

Port House Pintxo
12 Eustace Street, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

Went here for dinner on Sat night with my boyfriend. What a lovely place. The food is delicious, the service is brilliant, the price is unbelievably low for such good quality and selection, the atomostphere is so cosy and relaxing. Will definately be returning very soon.

Farm Restaurant (Dawson Street)
3 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

I had lunch here last Saturday with the girls. We ordered the stuffed peppers, and the pasta. The peppers in particular were delicious, and it was a huge portion, stuffed to the brim, with a lovely salad on the side. It was really nice, and I was really full after. We didn't bother with deserts but they looked really tempting. The restaurant itself has a lovely atmostphere, and the staff are really nice and efficient. Will look forward to returning soon.

Sandbar
193 Clontarf Road, North Dublin, Clontarf, Dublin

Went here for some lunch last friday, the place was busy but we managed to get a seat. Waiting staff not very pleasant, felt as if we had put them out!!! We had bruscetta for starter, which was horrible, so soggy and with no garlic. We then had a sandwich on foccacia bread, which was passable but not fantastic. We were over 20 mins waiting on our starter, while other people who came in after us were served a lot quicker. Seemed to be the type of place that had regulars, and they were served much quicker and more friendlier than not so regular customers!!! Will not be returning any time soon.

The Bloody Stream Restaurant
Under Howth Dart Station, North Dublin, Howth, Dublin

Went here for lunch on Saturday afternoon, service was good, a senior member of staff was a bit rude. Had pannini which had a side salad and chips, my friend had calamari. Food is lovely and good value, although not enough vegetarian options, as usual!!!

Thai Orchid (Dublin)
7 Westmoreland Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went for dinner here on Saturday night, and really enjoyed it. It wasn't too busy, so we felt very relaxed as we enjoyed our meal. I had spring rolls for starters, and rice noodles with tofu and veg for main. They were delicious. My boyfriend had the prawns and beef in black bean sauce, which he really enjoyed. We decided to split a desert of warm chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. Yum!!! Our meal came to 90 euro with a bottle of wine, we thought it was reasonable enough. Would definately return.

Franks Kitchen
Unit 72 Block Clongriffin, Baldoyle, Dublin

We decided to have a meal in Franks Kitchen last Friday night. The restaurant was so quiet, you could hear a pin drop. We were served promptly, the staff are very pleasant and efficient. The food was only ok. Spring rolls were fine, have had better. Main meal tasted like a microwave reheat, and it was quite pricey. Last time we dined here our meal was much nicer and fresher. Will not be in a hurry back.

Wrights Findlater Howth Restaurant
Findlater House, North Co. Dublin, Howth, Dublin

I enjoyed a lovely meal here on Saturday night with my boyfriend. Our table was booked for 8.30 but we were asked, if we wanted to wait 10 minutes, we could have a table by the window. This suited us, we just had another drink in the bar while we waited. We had the platter between us for starters, which was gorgeous. I had the Irish salmon fillet For my main and my boyfriend had the Irish beef fillet. They both came with fries and potatoes. Chocolate tart and Berry crumble for desert, yummy. Service was a bit slow, but it was Saturday night, and it was packed. Food was good quality, and the meal came to about 70 euro for us both, which we thought was reasonable. I would go back here again.

Courtyard Restaurant
Carnegie Court Hotel, North Street, Swords, Swords, Dublin

We had a lovely family dinner here on Sunday evening. We ordered from the early bird which was great value. Vegetable soup for starters was lovely, roast beef and stir fry for mains was delicious. Also included were some gorgeous roasted veg and potato wedges in a sweet chilli sauce. And for dessert, strawberry cheese cake, trifle and apple pie, all of which were fab. Tea and coffee followed, all for 75 euro for 4 of us!!! Will be back here really soon, staff were efficient and friendly, and the food quality was excellent.

Mulino's
23 Watermill road, North Dublin, Dublin 5, Raheny, Dublin

Had a meal here on Saturday night with my boyfriend, wasn't greatly impressed. No great selection for vegetarians. I had the caprese salad, which was nice, but I thought it was a bit pricey [€7.75]. My boyfriend had the steak, which came with two cherry tomatoes and a blob of garlic butter, vegetables and potatoes were at an extra charge. I ended up picking a pizza, and it was horrible. It had no bite on it and was soggy. The staff were efficient, maybe a bit too efficient. I only put my fork down, and they were over to see if I was finished!! Wouldn't be in a hurry to return.

Pizza Hut (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown, West Dublin, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

Was out shopping in Blanchardstown centre, and decided to drop into Pizza Hut. It was quite busy today, the kids are off school. Service was quick though, and the food was lovely. We had the combo, which was chicken wings, garlic bread, potato wedges and cheesy wraps, great value for €13.99. Pizza Hut is great for something quick and yummy. Would definitely return.

OKA Restaurant
Northwood Demense, North Dublin, Santry, Dublin

Had a lovely dinner here with friends recently. I had spring rolls for starters, which were lovely, and there were 3 of them! For dinner I had the vegetarian hot pot, full of lovely veg and tofu in a yummy sauce. The girls had sweet and sour chicken, and thought it was delicious. We were way too full for deserts, which looked nice. Staff are friendly and efficient, and it wasn't too costly. Will definitely come here again.

Darkie Moores at The Ryevale Tavern
Pound Street, Leixlip, Leixlip, Kildare

Had lunch here recently, and I have to say it was excellent. Just had panini with chips and salad, but it was really delicious. And it was great value, only 7.25 euro! They have recently refurbished the place and it looks great. Would highly recommend it for a quick bite at lunchtime. Will definitely return.

Eddie Rockets (Santry)
The Omni Shopping Centre, North Dublin, Santry, Dublin

Decided to go to Eddie Rockets last night for some comfort food, and was not disappointed. Ordered a strawberry malt, chicken burger and garlic fries. Yummy! It hit the spot. Service was a bit slow, but it was very busy. Price was ok. Will go back again soon for another helping.

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

We had dinner in Luigi's on Tuesday evening, and I have to say the standards have dropped. I started off with the garlic bread, which was loaded with butter and very soggy, not a bit crispy. My friend ordered the garlic mushrooms, used to be a favourite. They changed the dip, its now like a buttery garlic dip and was horrible. I then had a pizza for the main, and it was so thin and dry. The portions are still very generous, but I felt the quality was poor. The prices are reasonable, but I won't be returning any time soon.

Coachmans Inn
Airport Road, Cloghran, Dublin

I had a lovely meal here recently, with some friends from work. We ordered from the early bird, which seems to have improved from my last visit. Soup for starters, and garlic mushrooms which were delicious. I had the vegetable stir fry for main, that too was lovely, very tasty. Apple pie and trifle for desert, along with coffee and tea. All this for 18.95 each, great value. Much improved from before. Would return.

Bay Restaurant
369 Clontarf Road, Dublin 3, Clontarf, Dublin

Had lunch in Bay yesterday, and was very disappointed. I ordered from the brunch menu, and had the potato, tomato and mozzarella omelette and chips. There were about five chips on the plate, a tiny bit of salad, and the omelette had a charcoal taste off it. The potatoes in the omelette were cut into large chunks, and were hard. Also had a cup of coffee, which was luke warm, and tasted like it had been made hours ago. The meal cost 12.95, and the coffee 2.60, a bit of a rip off for a bad meal. My mother ordered a similar dish, and was also disappointed. Will not be dining here again.

Nautilus
9 Marine Court, The Green, North Co. Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

Had dinner here on Friday night with my boyfriend, and have to say we really enjoyed it. Had crostini for starters which was lovely and the vegetarian risotto for main, this was delicious too. They also have gorgeous deserts and it’s quite reasonably priced. It’s a lovely restaurant with some lovely views. The only complaint was the service, which overall was quite good, except at the end when we were left waiting for our bill for 25 minutes. But we would definitely come back here again.

Old Plaza Restaurant
Unit 20, 1st Floor, The Plaza, Swords, Dublin

Had a lovely meal here last weekend with the girls. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The waiting staff were quick and efficient and the overall price for starters, main course and 2 bottles of wine was very reasonable. Will definitely be coming here again.

SALE e PEPE
The Diamond, Main Street, North Co. Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

Visited Sale Pepe last weekend, and thought it was lovely. Starter was crostini, and it was delicious. Not a great main menu though, could be more choice. The pasta dish I had was lovely. It’s a bit overpriced, and is quite a small restaurant, but has a nice romantic atmosphere for couples. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Casa Pasta (Clontarf)
55 Clontarf Road, Dublin 3, Clontarf, Dublin

Love Casa Pasta!!! Gorgeous food, the brushetta as a starter is so delicious. Vegetable primavera is always a favourite of mine from the main menu, and deserts are divine, and so cheap. The only flaw is the size of the restaurant in Clontarf, its tiny and is always packed. Service is good, but sometimes a little slow, probably due to it being so busy all the time. Would recommend it highly, I visit at least once a month.

Wans Garden Chinese Restaurant
191 Howth Road, Clontarf, Killester, Dublin

I dined in Wan's Garden last weekend, and thought it was ok. I wouldn't really go back again, as I've found much nicer Chinese restaurants around. Food was nice, a little bland, and the place could do with a makeover, its so dark! Staff were friendly and helpful, but as I said, I would chose another restaurant before going to Wan's again.
