This was my first visit to this restaurant/cafe. Absolutely gorgeous. I brought my daughter and some of her friends here for her 11th birthday. There was 5 of us in total and I thought it would be better than fast food before the cinema. I was so pleased with my meal, we all were. Service was brilliant. Staff were so nice and helpful. Excellent value for money. I had a cajun wrap with wedges and a salad and it was €6.95 and is worth more. The kids chose from the kids menu and all the plates were cleared (which is always a good sign). I will definitely be back here again and again.

I was at this restaurant on Saturday night and it was lovely. The staff were really nice and the food was gorgeous. There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed what we got. The mozzarella sticks are yummy and the tacos are to die for. They even have different levels of spicy! We all said that we will definitely be back for more. Not bad either pricewise... 35 a head with a bottle of wine is not bad at all for 3 courses on a Saturday night..

I just got a delivery from Gaylord. I think I've just had the best Indian meal of my life! We got the €25 deal for 2 which is great value. Lamb chops for starters which were delicious. I had lamb tak a tak and it was so tasty. My hubby had lamb jalfrezi and it was gorgeous too. The naan bread is sizeable and yummy.. If you are ever in Navan you'll have to go in here. The food is absolutely amazing. We loved every single mouthful. We'll definitely be back for more

The Central
4 Trimgate Street, Navan, Meath

Went here with a group after work for a bite to eat. For starters I had duck wings and they were gorgeous. I had a burger for my main and it was huge! Very tasty. I didn't have room for dessert. My starter was served on a chopping board so I requested that my main be on a plate and it was no problem. The staff were very helpful and nice and there was something on the menu for everyone. I'd definitely recommend eating here. We all loved it.. I'll be back for more

Queen of Tarts
4 Cork Hill Dame Street, City Centre South, Dublin

I dropped in for lunch and had a sandwich, which was recommended by the waitress, it had either chicken or turkey with cranberry relish and brie on some flatbread type bread. It was very tasty. I also had a cappuchino which was made well but in a small little cup. The service was good and the waitress knew the menu inside out. It is a small cafe and would suit someone meeting no more than one person for a cuppa. I will go back again but only when I'm feeling flush as it is way overpriced for a cafe. The sandwich cost 9.95 itself.

I went here for lunch today after hearing so many people raving about it. The starters were lovely and there were loads to choose from. I had chicken wings, a skewered satay chicken, some sort of fish in breadcrumbs an onion ring and some mushrooms and prawn toast all of which tasted nice. I then went on to have a bit of everything for the main course, some of which was nice and some a little bland. There was loads to choose from like duck, chicken, pork and beef and I did notice some veggie dishes. Overall it was nice and I would have happily just filled up on starters! There was lots of cakes and fresh fruit for dessert. I was short for time so I just grabbed a small wedge of watermelon and went to pay. I was told that I had to eat the watermelon before I left! I would definitely go back again. One word of warning.. be starving going because you'll want to try everything!

Scanlon's
Kilberry, Navan, Navan, Meath

We went here for the early bird on the Saturday evening as it was too warm to cook! The place was nice and air conditioned. Both myself and my husband went for a special. I had the spicy chicken stir fry and it was delicious. My husband had the lasagna and he liked it too. The kids had sausages and chips/mash that came in little buckets! It was lovely. The staff were very nice and great with the kids. There is a table with toys to keep the little ones busy while waiting for our food We all had dessert. The sticky toffee pudding is light and yummy. The early bird was 12.95 for 2 courses and all in all it cost us 40 odd quid for 5 including the kids desserts. I will definitely be back for more. It is great value for money and the portions are substantial. Its an all round 5 for me... good food, atmosphere, service and value... I think we found a little gem.

Thai Orchid (Navan)
Above The Diamond Cinema, Metges Lane, Off Kennedy Road, Navan, Meath

I went here for my lunch. Although the food was tasty enough we were waiting ages before anyone came to take our order. After finishing our meal the dessert menu was given to us. It was pricey.. €7.95 for pavlova and it was mostly cream. Beware of your bill we were charged a 10% service charge which is not mentioned anywhere on the menu. I don't know anywhere else that charges a service charge to a couple for lunch. Its a shame really because we probably would have left a nicer tip than the service charge! I probably would try it again as the dishes were presented well and overall it is a nice restaurant.

I have to say that the food from this restaurant is delicious! I normally get a takeaway but I have been to the restaurant on numerous occasions. If you don't like spicy you can get the dish made to your liking. The staff are always very helpful in explaining whats in the dish and how hot it will be. Takeaway is a little pricey but worth it for the quality of food you receive. It even arrives with poppudoms and dips thrown in free. Definitely worth a visit.
