SO much decent choice here, even for a veggie. Great value, staff, location, everything! It fills up fast though, even on a week night, so best get in quick.

Le Bon Crubeen
81-82 Talbot Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

very speedy service and the decor was gorgeous. The food was beautiful, the pecan and apple salad was light, crispy and full of flavour. The halloumi and pumpkin bhaji's were a great combination too. It's a little gem, brilliant for when you hop off the train at Connolly or heading to the Abbey.

The Cake Cafe
62 Pleasants Place, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. It's cute and charming. Very relaxing. The staff are attentive and smiley. The tunes (though not loud) were very good. Cakes could be a little bigger portions. Tea choices were epic, I didn't know there was vanilla tea. A great place to chat for hours while drinking pot after pot. We had 2 pieces of cake and 2 large pots of tea and it was less than a tenner. BARGAIN

Brams Cafe
4 St Aidans Park Road, Marino, Dublin

Hangover Heaven. A short walk through the park to clear the head and then the best scrambled eggs, orange juice and tea ever. Couldn't ask for more!! It's always a bit busy, but if it's a nice day you can sit outside. They don't even mind you bringing your pooch along too.

Wongs of Clontarf
436 Clontarf Road, Dublin 3, Clontarf, Dublin

It's all gone so Wong.... this place used to be quite alright many many years ago. Now though it's greasy cheap food with surely staff. I think people are just keeping it alive as they're creatures of habit. Without that this place would surely be gone ages ago.

Shan Restaurant
6 Crow Streetle Bar, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

best central Indian ever! Always hit this place at 3am after a night out. The staff are incredible and the buzz is fantastic. The wine flows and everyone is having great craic. The food is always great (though at that hour I'm probably partial to anything). The bill is never too large and you can easily sit and chat for ages. A great finish to every night out.

Mulino's
23 Watermill road, North Dublin, Dublin 5, Raheny, Dublin

went in for lunch. We were the only ones there so the service was great. Unfortunately the food was not. I ordered a pizza with extra fresh basil. What was given to me was a pool of oily pesto poured onto a burned pizza base. They took off the cost of my drink to compensate. One half of the pizza was so black it was beyond edible. Inexcusable seeing as we were the only customers.

Cleaver East By Oliver Dunne
6-8 East Essex Street, , Temple Bar, Dublin 2 , Temple Bar, Dublin

When we left we were all still starving, even after spending about 50 quid a head. I wouldn't recommend for veggies, seeing as you are advised to have 4 dishes each and there's only about 2 veggie choices you're gonna be screwed. The place is decorated well however the staff are a bit fumbly. The tables are quite close to each other so it's all a bit of a squish. Seems like the hype is filling this place rather than the food and service. Hopefully this notion of a taste menu won't catch on anywhere else. If they just did regular sized portions I think I could get over everything else.

Kinara Restaurant
318 Clontarf Road, North Co. Dublin , Clontarf, Dublin

Gorgeous food, fast and attentive staff, couldn't ask for more. The place is always busy and has recently been redecorated. By far the best restaurant in the area.
