11 of us just went for lunch here. We booked a table. Table was ready and a nice one too. All menus were out.Service was VERY prompt, efficient and friendly. Had the steak sandwich. Was nice but the homemade chips were amazing and just enough so not too full going back to work.Maybe the little salad could have a token tomatoe or bit of red onion. But will defo be back. Great value.

Love this pub. Great atmosphere. Brilliant for the matches with that gigantic HD TV. A good date venue with candles or a pint with the lads. Nice pints but EXPENSIVE! 2 of the staff are very rude though. Never smile, never say thank you, greeted with a grunt, everytime.

The Purty Kitchen (Dun Laoghaire)
3-5 Old Dun Laoghaire Road, Co. Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Had lunch with my folks here last Sunday. We had no booking but they took the three of us anyway. Waitress was friendly and prompt. Got drinks and menus straight away. We all got the cod. Lovely fluffy fresh cod in crispy batter and homemade chips. Served on newspaper on top of the plate. Nice touch. Maybe could have done with a salad but I'm sure if I asked I would have got it. Not much of an atmosphere there for 2pm-ish on a Sunday. I'd definitely recommend it. I heard their chowder is amazing too.
