Was quite disappointed on my return visit here as I always enjoyed this restaurant before. I ordered the fillet of hake, which was served on a bed of risotto rice, last time I had a lovely stir fry. My friend had the duck which was ruined by the cannelloni beans. It looked like mush ! And if you do not like the beans then all you have is the duck as nothing else is served with it. I had a voucher which was very good value but saying that I think the menu is been changed for the vouchers. We were seated at a table away from the main stream of things, so felt their was little atmosphere in the place. The service was not up to the usual standard and the staff were not very friendly. Do not Think I will be returning in a hurry.

Lotus (Wexford)
70a South Main Street, Wexford, Wexford Town, Wexford

After reading several good reviews about this restaurant, we were very disappointed with it.We started off with the spare ribs, which were not too bad, then I ordered the beef curry which was dreadful. It just tasted of salt, and more salt. The beef was tough and unsavory. My husband had the chicken curry which was equally as bad as that was as salty as the beef curry. At the prices they charge I was expecting a much higher standard. The waitress was very friendly and the restaurant itself looked lovely. But its not a place we will be back too.

Yamamori Sushi, Tengu
38-39 Lower Ormond Quay, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Called in here with a friend last night and was pleasantly surprised. It was my first time here and did not have a clue what to order but a very helpful waiter helped me choose. The food was delicious so am really looking for to my next visit. Only negative was the price of the wine, very pricy compared to other places.

Gallahers Bistro
16A D'Olier Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Brought a few friends here last night and everyone really enjoyed it. We had a menupages voucher. Great value. I have been here several times and always go for the chicken wings. Fantastic as always my friend had the mussels think that will be my choice next time as they were delicious. The staff were lovely, chatty and helpful and service was excellent. Only negative aspect was they had no cheese board available. But we were happy enough with their desert menu so was not the worst thing that could have happened. A very consistent restaurant, you can be sure of a good meal every time.

KC Peaches Wine Cave Nassau St
28-29 Nassau St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Always enjoy a night out here. The staff are great, so friendly. The food is amazing , I had a Greek salad for starters which was great, I was actually full after it. Lamb shank for main course is the best, it comes with mash and lovely baby carrots. The only think I could be negative about was the waitress kept topping up our wine glasses, which was very good of her but I would much prefer to be in control of my own wine intake. Will definitely be back.

Sawadee Thai
94 Terenure Road East, Dublin 6, Dublin 6w, Terenure, Dublin

Went here on New Year's Eve with some friends and we had a great time. Live music and plenty of dancing and singing all night ,upstairs so much so that people eating downstairs even came upstairs for the crack . The staff are so welcoming so everyone had a good night. The food is top quality and a very good choice on the menu. Best of all its good value too. We will definitely be back.

Brasserie 7
The Capel Building, Capel Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Returned here yet again with another voucher from Menu Pages. Sorry to say the service is still as bad as ever. We had our starter served before the wine and the water were brought. My husband had the rib eye steak which was very good, served with a plate of chips on the side. Unfortunately I ordered the free range chicken served with soft polenta, red currants and goats cheese foam which was really nothing special as it was a very lonely piece of chicken, a couple of red currants alright , where was the other ingredients ? not even a side plate of chips, very poor show. We shared a cheese platter for desert, but unfortunately the waitress was not aware we were on a menu pages deal and wanted to charge us a supplement for the cheese. The problem was sorted out eventually, but it took the good out of the night as I hate to have to quibble over the bill. If only the service could be improved , this is a lovely restaurant to visit. The staff are friendly and welcoming so no complaints their.

Brasserie 7
The Capel Building, Capel Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Very enjoyable meal here last night . The duck was delicious as was the steak my husband had. The piano playing was excellent and added to the ambiance of the place. Only complaint was the slow service, but it was a busy Saturday night, we were waiting 25 minutes for our wine & water order, more staff needed on a busy Saturday night. The waiters were friendly and helpful. We will return another time and hopefully this will not be a problem again.

Rolys Bistro
7 Ballsbridge Terrace, Dublin, Ballsbridge, Dublin

Went here with 3 friends all of whom had menu pages vouchers. Have to say we did not find it very good value as the vouchers offered us 100 euro for 50euro worth of food. But as we could only order off the set menu the value did not match, even if we ordered the steak. e also found it difficult to establish which menu we were to order from, had to ask several times to be sure. We enjoyed our meal anyway, the lamb pie was great, very tasty with loads of veg., Table we were given was upstairs in a booth, we felt very cut off from the rest of the restaurant so as a result did not think the atmosphere was good.

Baileys Cellar Bar
Baileys Hotel Cashel, Main Street, Cashel, Tipperary

Dropped in here on the way through Cashel, and was not disappointed. I had fish and chips with mushy pear delicious , my friends had the baby back ribs and home made burger all great. The Guinness was excellent also. The staff were lovely chatty and welcoming. Nice Atmosphere too, looking forward to my next visit

Sage Restaurant
The Courtyard, 8 Main Street, Midleton, Cork

Arrived here on a Saturday night with no booking even though they were full they asked us to come back in 30 mins and were able to give us a table for 4. The menu was very good as was the food. We had the chowder which was the best we ever experienced anywhere, we even came back the following night to have it again but found them shut. Only complaint I could find was that the staff could have been a little bit friendly, It was too business like without even a smile or a friendly word or two. But will be back, hope we get a smile next time.

Ruposhi Indian Restaurant
1 Whitworth Road, North Dublin, Drumcondra, Dublin

The best Indian restaurant in Dublin. Food is always reliable , and the waiters are very good at recommending a dish if your not sure what to order. The special menu is fantastic value and the wine list is very good and very reasonable priced. The restaurant is cosy and has great atmosphere, Service is excellent and the staff always have a friendly word or two for everyone. I go here regularly and would definitely recommend Ruposhi restaurant to everyone.

Stoop Your Head
Harbour Road, Skerries, Skerries, Dublin

Really was delighted with the food here, excellent food four of us came all the way here from Drumcondra on the bus, well worth the journey, Only complaint was we did not think after service was good, once we had our food it was difficult to get the attention of any staff, we had to ask several times for a coffee, still the food is so good we can overlook this problem.

Really enjoyed my night out to this restaurant, We went to the early bird menu. The service was excellent, all the staff were very friendly and offered great advice on the menu. The hake was very good served with lovely potatoes. All the deserts were fantastic it was hard to decide which one to have. We were heading off to the cinema after the meal and the staff were very good and looked up the times of the local cinemas for us. We are all looking forward to our next visit.

Les Freres Jacques
74 Dame Street, Dublin City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

A group of us went here for the early bird. Great value for 18 euro. The waiters were so lovely and helpful. I had main course of pork belly which was very good & a desert. We were seated upstairs which was very nice, but next visit I think I would prefer to sit down stairs as it looked to have more atmosphere. This restaurant is worth a visit.

FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

Was not overly impressed with Fire, Nothing special thought it was a bit big for a couple to eat in . Might be ok if you had a crowd with you. Food was average, but service was slow, Our waiter was very helpful and suggested different things from the menu. Lacking atmosphere.

Went here with three friends last week, best meal we have had out ever. I had the prawns for starters delicious, Main course the stuffed pork is out of this world. This is one restaurant we will be back to.They do not do an early bird but your starter is free with the main course so it was very good value. Give this a try , you wont be disappointed.

Great night had in this restaurant not long ago. Very relaxing and great food. The service was great, our waitress was friendly and very helpful, she kept our water glasses topped up all night . Great place to eat relaxed and friendly. Very hard to get a table but they will put you on a waiting list so we can go for a pint next door and they ring you when the table is ready, which is never that long. And always worth the wait. G&J

Andersons Foodhall & Café
3 The Rise, Glasnevin, Glasnevin, Dublin

Ate in new Andersons in Drumcondra earlier this week, bit disappointed compared to Glasnevin branch. Very difficult to get the waitress to understand what I wanted to order, then when she did only to find they were out of that item. Understaffed so we were waiting quite a while for our order also. Will go back to Glasnevin branch no problem but not Drumcondra until they get staff who understand. G &J
