By far one of my favorite bistros in Dublin. I have been there 3 times in the past 4 months and every time I had a great experience. €25 for a 3 course deliciously cooked dinner, great service (extremely friendly manager-cant remember his name) and a nice relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal at a very decent price.

we went to wagamama as my girlfriend is really enjoying their food and i cant blame her but to be honest the food is good but the service is nonexistent. we were seated quite quick but the waitress forgot twice to bring the drinks we ordered, we had to wait for our bill forever and in the end we decided to approach a different server to sort it out. im sure il be back there at some stage but only because of my girlfriend!

Riva Restaurant - Harolds Cross
53 Rathgar Avenue, South Dublin, Harolds Cross, Dublin

we went to Riva for the forst time last Friday...probably the last as well. Did you ever hear about the restaurants where people describe as "Chips were good in there"? Well, tahts the only good thing i have to say about the place. From the waitress who couldnt tell us if the chips served with the meal were thick or regular ("They could be either" - thats the answer we got) to the plain tasting food everything was a bit of a let down. I do however feel sorry for the chef as he has to work in the smallest kitchen i think i've ever seen - 2 sq meters but thats not realy an excuse for the ice cold pate i got with my starter, the non condimented lentils or the almost uncooked pork. The strangest part was the dessert, it looked like it was cut with a fork from a bigger piece... I would understand if the place was busy but it wasnt, definitely not the place I would return.

I love ending my nights out in zaytoon, the food is great and the service is quick enough. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good quality kebab

Kanum Thai
16 Orwell Rd, Dublin 4, Rathgar, Dublin

I bought a couple of vouchers for Kanum on one of the plenty of the websites around without ever knowing the place existed - what a lovely experience this proved to be. I would classify this place as very casual, a take away with a few counter tables where one can enjoy some really good thai food along with a nice glass of wine(slightly overpriced but...). The food was good,in fact it was very good and the guys working behind the counter were very professional and helpful. Definitely a place I would recommend.

Pasta Fresca
2-4 Chatham Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I went there first with my girlfriend a couple of months back and i had a terrible experience. I got ice frozen carpaccio of beef, worst veg soup on the face of the planet and wait staff that had no clue whats going on. Nevertheless I have decided to give it another go a couple of weeks back together with 3 other friends - NEVER AGAIN. After paying for a starter and a main course i went straight at the pub across the road and had a burger. Cant name the pub for obvious reasons but thats a place worth visiting. Will I go back to Pasta Fresca? Probably Not!!
