The Martello (Bray) restaurant
Strand Road, Bray, Wicklow
Reviewed 08th June 2009 ( visited 01st June 2009 )went here bankholiday weekend with the fab weather. plenty of seats outside to eat and enjoy the weather. service here was fantastic, real pleasant girl serving us. food & deserts were all well priced and plenty of options. the lasagne was lovely and came with garlic bread, salad and an option of chips, mash or boiled potatoes.

Captain America's Blanchardstown
Unit 40 Blanchardstown, Retail Park 2 Extension Dublin, West Dublin, Blanchardstown, Dublin
plenty of options to pick from. portion sizes are good. was disappointed with the bruschetta. service was a bit slow and the place wasnt busy.
Hanover Quay, Dublin 2 , Grand Canal Dock, Dublin
the day we went it was really busy and there wasn't enough staff to deal with all that was there. there for brunch and the the food was really good!!! the wings were great and the pancakes were so fluffy. def. looking forward to going back here again!!!!
La Caverna Restaurant & Wine Bar

The Summit Inn
Howth Summit, Howth, Dublin
main course was alright the quesadillas. desert was a lot better took a while to get a table. worth the visit if out that far
318 Clontarf Road, North Co. Dublin , Clontarf, Dublin
we went a few of us with the intention of ordering from the early bird menu but weren't impressed with what was on offer. ordered from the a la carte menu in the end. food is very pricey on the a la carte menu but it was to a HIGH standard and quality. service was excellent and great at explaining different options. cant wait to go back
Il Fornaio (Raheny)
55 Kilbarrack Road, Dublin 5, Raheny, Dublin
very overpriced their pizzas. staff charged if you wished to substitute toppings. staff were very unfriendly and unwilling to help. will not be going back anytime soon
Toscana City Centre
3 Cork Hill, Dame Street (opposite Dublin Castle), Dublin City Centre, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin
early bird menu is great value however disappointed with the selection of main courses. crostini i've had nicer sorry i didnt go for the bruschetta instead. thank god it wasnt busy that evening cos the place is very cramped and tables are on top of each other. wasnt impressed with the service as they were very slow with very few there.
Main Street, Dunboyne, Meath
love their garlic bread with cheese and tomato. their side orders are great esp their wings and salad. should offer 14" pizzas. quick at delivering
Pizza Hut (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown, West Dublin, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin
great value at lunchtime & offer free refills. salad bar could be improved. service very good. place needs a whole new revamp.
FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin
the food and service in here is excellent. great selection on christmas menu. wasn't over gone on the chocolate cake. would go back again
Siam Thai (Andrews Street)
14/15 Andrews Street, City Centre South, Dublin
have been here a few times. good value for early bird. place is often really busy so would advise making reservations. here at the weekend and it was really busy so service was slow compared to mid week. would recommend the plater for starter dish if you are undecided as to what to go for and the ribs are tasty. even though does thai food you can get chinese dishes (sweet and sour, etc...) and stir fry dishes.
Millstone, A Dublin Restaurant
39 Dame Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
this place is a hidden gem, all the times ive gone past here. was recommended by a friend. the food in it is lovely and great value. plenty of options to choose from even if opting for the early bird.
Old Plaza Restaurant
Unit 20, 1st Floor, The Plaza, Swords, Dublin
here for a birthday. food was slow coming out but there was two other parties with 20 people and another party with 40 people so understandable. but when food came out staff ensured that all was ok at the table. soup was lovely shame it wasnt bigger bowl. when i saw the ribs come out i wish i hard ordered them. the main courses were lovely and good selection. good selection of wines and beers. will def go back and visit. oh and they have karaoke on fri night for the singers out there
TGI Friday (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin
great value at the min with a promo. service was slow and waiting a while for main course to come out. place wasnt full that day so was surprised at the wait.
Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK Swords)
Pavillion Shopping Centre, Malahide Road, Swords, Dublin
went for lunch and they had the promo which was good value. service here is extremely slow had to ask twice for somebody to come take our order as had been left waiting for nearly 20mins.
Malahide Road, Artane, Dublin
great place to visit for lunch so much cheaper compared to other pubs in the area. their soup is the nicest soup i've ever had and the portion is huge. great selection for lunch.
Eden Quay, City Centre North, Dublin
they have a special promo at the min for lunch and dinner. they only seem to change trays of food when there is little or none left in them. good selection of starters. and plenty of main dishes to choose from. personally not enough chicken and beef a lot of fish and pork dishes. would def tell people to try it once and make their own mind up.
Little Caesars (Harcourt Street)
The Harcourt Hotel, 59 Harcourt Street, City Centre South, Dublin
very quiet for a friday night. a number of tables had more than 5 plus. food was a bit slow coming out but once out staff kept ensuring everything was ok. wasn't over gone on the food. have had nicer and better presented
4 St Aidans Park Road, Marino, Dublin
not bad value. good choices on the menu and they have a specials board. they could do with some extra floor esp on match days as only 1 waitress. worthwhile visiting before match day.
Clontarf Castle, Clontarf, Clontarf, Dublin
have been here a few times. love the steak sandwich one of the best ive ever had. shame they dont have a sunday special or have the option for roast. you need to go into other bar if you want roast.
Farm Restaurant (Dawson Street)
3 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin
food is lovely in here. the place is well decorated. good early bird. only problem is it is not fully wheelchair accessible. they only have 2 tables on the ground floor and rest are up stairs.
The Martello (Bray)
Strand Road, Bray, Wicklow
went here bankholiday weekend with the fab weather. plenty of seats outside to eat and enjoy the weather. service here was fantastic, real pleasant girl serving us. food & deserts were all well priced and plenty of options. the lasagne was lovely and came with garlic bread, salad and an option of chips, mash or boiled potatoes.
Blackstone Restaurant @The Lisdoo
Newry Road, Dundalk, Louth
dropped in here on the way home from up the north. we were all impressed and the portions were good sizes. would recommend it if looking for somewhere to eat after a hard days shopping up the north.
12G New Street, Shopping Mall, North Co. Dublin, Malahide, Dublin
this place is one of the worse places ive ever been to!!! food is served on what can only be described as tray that is used to carry drinks in a bar. was sitting beside the kitchen area and any of the pasta dishes (well only have 3 to chose from) are all cooked in a microwave incl. the pasta!!! the staff are dirty and it looks like their uniforms have never been washed. pay the bit extra and go somewhere decent and a 100 times nicer in malahide even pub grub would be better!!!
1 Shantalla Road Beaumont, Beaumont, Dublin
completly overpriced for what you get especially when there are plenty of nice restraunts a 15 min drive away. got a platter for 2 a while ago and it cost €18 for some wings, sausages, goujons!!! they do have an early bird but again overpriced.
36 Baldoyle Road, Sutton, Dublin
worth the visit now and again if in the area and looking for bite to eat. the only downfall is service can be slow if in a rush.
Thunder Road Cafe
Fleet Street, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin
been a while since i was last here and they have done it up a bit. main course portions were huge and good value. they now offer chips, wedges or salad with main courses rather then charging extra. worth the visit if out and about in town plenty of options
Spurs Family Restaurant
U42 Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, Liffey Valley, Liffey Valley, Dublin
place has gone down hill. the service was terrible. food was alright but could be better!!!
8 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
only been here once but really liked the place. love their pizzas. make sure to make reservations in advance otherwise you could be left waiting.
Independent Pizza Co
28 Drumcondra Rd Lower, Dublin 9, Drumcondra, Dublin
one of my favourite places and will always return to it. love the sweet chilli bread. have tried the duck pizza before bit heavy going but worth trying. make sure to book a table in advance as this place is alway busy
Airport Road, Cloghran, Dublin
food is nice and good value. but the place in need of a total revamp its so old and grubby looking. so puts me off going
The Upper Deck duplicate
Harbour Road, Above the Waterside Pub, Howth, Dublin
love mexican food and this is one of my fav places. would recommend if your trying it out 1st go during the early bird menu. make sure to make reservations as it is often busy and if you want to avoid waiting. we shared nachos between 5 of us. loved the potato skins, buffalo wings and nachos. wasnt impressed by the chicken chimichangas its basically a deep fried enchilada. the fajitas are the best :)
The Harp Lounge
Carnegie Court Hotel, Swords, Dublin
they could do with a few more waiting staff out here. only ever seems to be one person working. the early bird menu is great value. like the restaurant they seem to put pesto on the plates so if you dont like it tell them no pesto. plenty of options from burgers, roast of the day, omlettes, currys, etc...
Barrys of Douglas
Douglas Cork, Douglas, Cork
worth the visit into douglas if down in cork. make sure to make reservations as this place does be busy in the evening.
Elephant & Castle
18/19 Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
its all about the wings in here!!!! so if you like your wings book a table ahead to avoid disapointment. and be prepared to wait for your food if the place is fully booked. the menu has been the same for so many years. could do with being changed/reviewed. consider this place a treat as it can be quite expensive.
The Yacht (Clontarf)
73 Clontarf Road, Clontarf, Dublin
love the food here but its a shame about the place, in need of revamp!!! the place looks old and shabby
