Wagamama (Cork) restaurant
4/5 South Main St, Co City, Cork City, Cork
Reviewed 19th October 2007 ( visited 06th October 2007 )I really love the food here. Always get the same thing...the gluten free Wagamama ramen and it’s always delicious. The staff are very friendly, and although they all appear very laid back the service is very fast and very efficient. I like the way you can see the chefs cooking the food and watch the different dishes going out. Will definitely be going back.
Little Caesars (Harcourt Street) restaurant
The Harcourt Hotel, 59 Harcourt Street, City Centre South, Dublin, Area Code: Dublin 2
Reviewed 24th September 2007 ( visited 10th August 2007 )Was really impressed with the gluten free meal I had here. It's always hard in an Italian restaurant to find something that isn’t pizza or pasta. I had the chicken in a pepper and tomato sauce with chips. It was really tasty, full of flavour and a good sized portion.
Baileys No.42 Restaurant
Baileys Hotel Cashel, Main Street, Cashel, Tipperary
Love the new layout of this restaurant, plus the food is great and the staff are really friendly and helpful.
Tom Skinnys Pizza Parlour
3 Printers Centre Market Street, Clonmel, Tipperary
Good Milkshakes and Ice Cream .. but please get some gluten free pizza bases!!
Planet Spice Indian Restaurant &Takeaway;
8 Mary St Clonmel, Clonmel, Tipperary
The food is great but they really need to spice up their customer service. We waited ages for the food and then when we left after paying for a meal for four, we were rudely chased after asking why we hadn't paid!!
47 Gladstone St, Clonmel, Clonmel, Tipperary
Nice simple food. The service is good and the staff are friendly..the atmosphere is relaxed and its very easy to stay on for a few to many drinks after your meal.
Market Place Clonmel, Clonmel, Tipperary
Go here for lunch quite a lot. The food is always lovely and they do a really good soya cappuccino. There is only one place though thats comfy to sit which is near the toilets. Get some comfier seats and the cafe would be perfect!!
Tipperary Town, Tipperary Town, Tipperary
Stopped here for lunch a couple of Saturdays ago. The food wasnt anything fancy but was very very tasty and the staff were lovely. Definitely worth a visit.
Befani's Mediterranean & Tapas Restaurant
6 Sarsfield Street, Clonmel, Tipperary
A really lovely restaurant. The food is tasty and there is always a nice atmosphere. It can get a little cramped however when there are people waiting at the bar for a table as there is only just enough room to sit the diners. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
Eddie Rockets (Stillorgan)
Stillorgan Shopping Centre, Stillorgan, Stillorgan, Dublin
The Nachos are amazing...
4-5 The Hill, Stillorgan, Stillorgan, Dublin
Really impressed with the quality of the food. It was a lot nicer than your normal Indian style food, had more flavour and tasted freshly cooked. I had the Lamb Bhuna and will definitely be going back there for more.
Mexico to Rome
23 East Essex Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin
They really need to do something about their seating arrangements. Everyones on top of each other and continuously having to move to let other customers sit down or get up. The food is alright, nothing to shout about and the atmosphere was just bland. We sat near the back of the restaurant but it looked like there was more of an atmosphere near the front. Okay restaurant for quick food, but not somewhere i would like to spend an evening.
14 Bath Avenue, Sandymount, Sandymount, Dublin
Really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was lovely but it was the atmosphere and the music that really made it a unique experience. The only complaint I had was the amount of chillies in my starter and in my main course. Hot but nice.
The Newport Restaurant Cafe Bar
Paul Street, Plaza, Cork City, Cork
Always go here for lunch as can always just walk in, get a table and get served quickly. I like the way there is a good selection of snack meals as well as full. The food is tasty and I really like the glass lift in the middle of the restaurant. Will be going again.
Nutmeg Organic Restaurant
14 A French Church Street, Cork City, Cork
Went here for lunch on Saturday. You can definitely taste the difference in the food being organic. It all tasted very fresh and you feel as if you are eating something very healthy. However, my soup starter was slightly lacking in flavour. It was nice to sit outside on a busy street but being able to relax at the same time. Would go here again.
2-5 Winthrop Lane, Winthrop Street, Cork, Cork City, Cork
A large group of us went here for a hen night. We had our own private section of the restaurant and what seemed to be our own waiter. The food was superb and there was a really good atmosphere. I would recommend booking in advance though, as there is often a huge que...which can be seen running down the street.

Wagamama - Stephen's Green
St Stephen's Green Centre, South King St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Have been to Wagamama in Cork and was very impressed but was quite disappointed with the meal I got here. I ordered the gluten free ramen, which is what I would usually get in Cork, but it tasted completely different. It just seemed to be rice noodles in hot water. I told them that this is not what I ordered and they told me that the menu had been recently changed and that they now made it so it would suit vegetarians as well and so could only use vegetable stock. As there were pieces of chicken in it I find this hard to believe. However, the staff were very friendly and understanding and they refunded me the cost of the meal.
7-9 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
We went here for the early bird menu, which allows you to choose three dishes from a set menu. I was not really sure what I was ordering and ended up with a strange combination of different dishes but was able to swap a couple with my friend who also had an unusual mix of food. It was quite nice and the small portions surprisingly filling but what made the meal was the free drink. I’m not really sure what it was but it contained mint leaves and lemon and it tasted amazing. Would go here again.
7 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin
We showed up without a booking and were quite surprised that we only had to wait a couple of minutes to get shown to a table. We were served very quickly and the food and wine was very nice, however it’s the atmosphere in there that really adds to an enjoyable meal. It’s very cosy with a sort of homely feel to it.

The Step Inn Lounge Restaurant
Enniskerry Road, Stepaside Village, Stepaside, Stepaside, Dublin
Decided on here for Sunday Lunch...we turned up without a reservation and were seated within a couple of minutes. It's really cosy and the seats in the restaurant are so comfy...i could have sat there all day. The menu was pretty basic and seemed expensive for what was on offer but the meal we had was lovely and the portions were huge. Would definitely go there again.
24 East Essex Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin
The portions were surprisingly small..we did go at lunch time but choose what looked like full meals...I had the Irish stew as was told this was the only gluten free option and my boyfriend had the sausage and mash. The food was lovely...but I don’t think it’s up to the restaurateur to decide how hungry you’re going to be at particular times of the day!
Baan Thai (Leopardstown)
Central Park, Block P, Dublin 18, Leopardstown, Dublin
Great atmosphere and the food was delicious, however, the staff seemed under too much pressure. There was a long wait for the main course and on two occasions we were brought food that was meant for the tables on either side of us. When we asked for the food that we had actually ordered we got a mixture of loud sighs and dirty looks. I would eat here again, but not during a busy time.
