Visited Limerick for the weekend with a friend and were looking for somewhere good to eat and came across the French Table in Menupages so thought we would give it a try. From start to finish this meal was 5*, from the friendly staff to the very reasonable wine menu to the absolutely fabulous fresh food. My friend ordered the Pate as a starter and it did not disapoint, you could tell it was homemade and the portion could have done for two people. She then got the eight hour lamb and I had the assiette of fish, both were amazing, the lamb was extremely tender and each individual piece of my fish was cooked to perfection. We then sat and soaked up the atmosphere and drank some more wine before ordering desert. My friend had a chocolate gateau and I have crepe carmel, again both were amazing and the staff were also a credit not over bearing but always a smile and there to top up the wine. We spoke to one of the owners who confirmed that her husband was actually from France, which didnt suprise in the least and this was classic French cusine at its best. I would highly recommend this restaurant and if i return to Limerick i will definitely be booking a table again!

We went to Joels for a family outing and found that Joel's is extremely family friendly and the staff were very accommodating. They supply crayons and pictures for children to colour, a great children's menu. Some of us had a special three course lunch menu which was great value at 21.50e and the food was of great quality. I would definitely recommend Joels for any occasion.

Little Caesars of Rathfarnham
Rathfarnham Orchard, Butterfield Ave, South Dublin, Rathfarnham, Dublin

I have visited this restaurant twice a month for about 4 months now and have always found it to be great value with good Italian food at a great price and the service is usually very good. However upon my last few visits I have to say that the service has immensely deteriorated. I asked one of the staff to box my pizza to take away he then disappeared and never returned, we waited another 10-15 mins to get another server and asked to see the dessert menu, again we were ignored whilst the waitress passed our table on three separate occasions and still nothing. Eventually after waiting another 10 mins with no waitress in sight we decided to leave. I hope this restaurant can get back the standard of service they had previously been giving as currently I would not recommend.

Salamanca
1 St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went there with friends on a Saturday evening for tapas, was very busy to be expected on a Saturday. We we greeted well and given a complimentary glass of processo for booking with Menupages. It took a while to get our order in and food took a while to be served. The standard of the food was good I wouldn't say excellent but the service left a lot to be desired, if your in a rush I would maybe try somewhere else.

Las Tapas de Lola
12 Wexford St., City Centre South, Dublin

First time at this restaurant and have to say it was really good. Great place to come with a group of friends or even on a first date, the tapas were really good especially the seafood ones. We had the Pink Cava which is imported from Spain and was delicious. All the staff are great and great to see the owners being hands on, would definitely recommend and come again!

Searsons of Baggot Street

Popped in for a quick meal, had the pulled pork sandwich, was nice but overpriced. The service was ok, food came out quick but clearing plates and getting drinks etc was a bit slow.

Fade Street Social - The GastroBar
4-6 Fade Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

The menu has a lot of options which is good for tapas and the fusion I really enjoyed the fusion of Irish food being made into tapas like the Bacon and Cabbage burger which was delicious. The food was reasonably priced and the cocktail menu was excellent. This is a great place to go with a group of friends or even as a couple. Would highly recommend.

The Riverside Restaurant - Closed
Market Square, Kilcullen, Kildare

This was my second visit to The Riverside, it is a lovely restaurant in a lovely location. The have two set menus one for €25 and one for €35 both for a starter and maincourse. I had the Goats Cheese brushetta for starter and black sole for main. The food was excellent however I don't know whether both courses were worth €35 together. However my friend had the Aspargarus for starter and pheshant for main course which turned out to be a Whole Pheshant so we thought that was definitely worth it. The only I would say about the menu as that it is not that extensive. But I would definitely recommend it as food was very good and service excellent.
