Myself and my boyfriend returned to Bridge on Friday 1st to check out the live music... What a fantastic night we had, the music started off quite laid back but by the time we were having desserts about a dozen people had taken to the floor to dance, it was great. The whole night was a fantastic success for us again, we had prawns pil pil and carpaccio of venison to start, followed by an enormous 32oz steak for two people sharing, this came with seriously delicious creamed and gratinated potatoes, vegetables, and a selection of 3 or 4 sauces, really delicious and cooked as we asked. I had dessert, it was a gorgeous white chocolate parfait, which I'm dreaming of ever since. After dinner we moved to the bar, they stay open quite late and you never feel like they want you to leave. We booked for 1st of March and we are really looking forward to another night of great food ( and maybe even dancing again ).

Strand Bar
Main Street, Rush, Co Dublin, Rush, Dublin

I've recently moved into the area & my first call was to the Strand. I was welcomed warmly by all the staff and now call in as often as possible with my family. The children are welcome until 9pm which is perfect for a nice family meal. The food is served promptly and presentation is good. An enjoyable evening every time

Myself and my boyfriend had dinner here last night, it was our first time to visit and we had both been looking forward to it as some of our friends had dined here before and recommended it to us. It lived up to all our expectations, we were greeted by a very friendly hostess and brought to a really cosy table under the bridge itself. The restaurant was looking really warm and cosy on such a cold night with lots of candles and soft lighting, inside AND out. The waiter that served us was such a friendly yet professional guy and eagerly explained the menu and specials to us. I had prawns pil pil and my boyfriend had potted duck, both our starters were delicious, the main courses were WOW, I had a fillet Steak, which was cooked exactly how I requested and my boyfriend had Venison, the presentation on both was just beautiful. Everything in this restaurant is thought through, and the attention to detail everywhere is amazing. The hostess was telling us that they have live music on the first Friday of every month and we both agreed that we will definitely come to that. We had a great night in Bridge and can't wait to go back. Well done to all the staff and thanks for a really memorable night out.
