Had a lovely lunch here recently. Service is always excellent. They seem to have stopped with the complimentary bread, which is a shame, but other than that - very good.

Rolys Bistro
7 Ballsbridge Terrace, Dublin, Ballsbridge, Dublin

I went here for a Sunday dinner with my in-laws. Food and service were fabulous as usual. The house wine is excellent and good value. Would highly recommend for a family or romantic occasion.

Cafe Bliss
4B Montague Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Great place for lunch or a good value dinner. Lovely staff and food.

The Barge
Charlemont Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I have lunch here from time to time as I work nearby. The staff are always pleasant and it is very reasonable. Wraps and sanwiches are nice with plenty of fillings and some nice crisps on the side.

Al Vesuvio
73 Mespil Road, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin

Ate at an outside table last week on a sunny evening. Service was very good and food was excellent, I will go back for the pizza alone!

San Lorenzos
South Great Georges Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

I really enjoyed my dinner here. Food, service, atmosphere and value were all excellent. I had a fish stew for my main course, which was huge and really delicious. I'm looking forward to going here again.

Farmer Browns
25a Bath Avenue, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin

I used to love this place, but their service has never improved since they opened, which is probably two years ago at this stage. Food is always really good, apart from when they forget to bring you it! Prices have dramatically increased for their dinner menu and the corkage charge of €5pp is ridiculous. I will continue to go for lunch here the odd time, but definitely not dinner. Brunch has also gone downhill. It is a reall shame, as when they get the brunch right, it is delicious.

Neon Asian Street Food
17 Camden Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I come here for lunch now and again. You need to get here early to get a semi-private table and not be on the long communal bench! Food is excellent and great value. Service is aways really quick. Free ice-cream is a nice touch.

Fade Street Social - The GastroBar
4-6 Fade Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

I went here with 10 work colleagues. We all had three courses(mostly steak for main course), wine, coffee etc. So, as you can imagine, the bill was going to be quite large. Well, from the moment we walked in there, we were rushed and service was extremely rude. Food was very good, but very expensive. I would definitely not go here again and I was glad I wasn't paying.

The Art of Coffee
Altro Vetro Building, Pearse street, City Centre North, Dublin

I go to this branch at the weekends and the Harcourt branch most weekdays. There coffee is excellent, their service is very friendly and their scones are yummy. It is not the best value, but worth the extra money!

Cinnamon Ranelagh
87 Ranelagh, South Dublin, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin

I had lunch here last Friday. Food was nice and a little bit different. Service was prompt and waitress was pleasant. Pricewise it is okay if you get just a snadwich, but the minerals/sides/desserts are a bit of a rip off. Not sure if I'll be in a rush back here.

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

I have eaten here several times, but never for lunch. The Swift lunch is really good value. I got a gigantic chicken sandwich with fries and a soft drink, which were delicious. I didn't have to pay , as I had a voucher, but I will definitely go again as a paying customer!

Cornucopia
19/20 Wicklow Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I come for lunch here around once a week. I usually just get soup and bread, which I think are the best in Dublin. I feel healthier walking out of there! I think their main courses are overpriced for lunchtime.

Seagrass of Portobello Bridge
30 South Richmond Street, Dublin 8, Portobello, Dublin

I go for lunch here now and again. It is a great restaurant and such good value. They really know how to flavour foods well. I had a seafood soup, which was lovely and a salad, which to be honest was a bit too healthy for me - not much in it apart from sald leaves!! I definitely want to try it for dinner sometime. Breads are also fab.

Al Boschetto
2 Merrion Road, Ballsbridge, Ballsbridge, Dublin

I went here last night for dinner with a voucher, so I didn't pay full price. The staff were lovley and the service was quick. Food was nice, but nothing spectacular. I wouldn't go back if I was paying full price, as food is expensive for its standard.

One Pico Restaurant
5-6 Molesworth Place, Schoolhouse Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I went here for a business dinner. I had high expectations and to be honest if I was paying, I would have been disappointed. Although food was gorgeous it did not warrant the prices charged. Service was quite slow. This seems negative, but it is not, the food is beautiful, but it is just so expensive.

Cornucopia
19/20 Wicklow Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I come here for lunch around once a week. It is a great place to go on your own and not feel out of place. The food is so nice and natural and their home made bread is very good. It is not the cheapest vegetarian restaurant, but that would not stop me from going there.

Les Freres Jacques
74 Dame Street, Dublin City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

I went here for my birthday and I have to say it was top notch. It is definitely more for a treat as it is expensive, but every aspect of the meal was great from the service to the food and wine.

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

I visited here for the Sunday jazz brunch. It was just great. I had the striploin steak and it was amazing, so juicy. It came with a lovely salad and gorgeous duck fat potatoes. Coffee is also great. I am looking forward to going again.

Pizza Stop
6/10 Chatham House, Chatham Lane, Off Grafton Street, City Centre South, Dublin

I went her on Friday night and really enjoyed myself. Pizza was excellent and had a nice tiramsiu with an amaretto to round off the meal. Still thinking about the pizza, so a return visit is definitely on the cards!

Boulevard Cafe
27 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

I went here for lunch. Service was nice and prompt. Food was good, but not amazing. I had a Caesar salad, lots of chicken and ham in it, which was good. I would go back, but maybe for an evening meal.

Odessa
13 Dame Court, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

I went here for lunch on Valentine's Day. I really enjoyed it. They give you complimentary bread at the beginning and the food was excellent. Good sized portions.I had an apple crumble for dessert, which was just okay as the apples were still a little bit raw. Overall, I am looking forward to going back.

Bewley's Café
Grafton Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Great spot to catch up with friends. I was here twice in December and both times had the set menu. It is really good value and you don't need to book.

The Wild Goose Grill
First Floor, Above McSorleys, 1 Sandford Road, Dublin 6 , Ranelagh, Dublin

I went here a Christmas party lunch. Food was delicious and service was excellent. On the downside, portions were very small and I was hungry again in a couple of hours! I would go here again for an evening meal, as the atmosphere was great, even at lunchtime.

Salamanca
1 St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Had the lunch offer on Saturday - 2 courses for E12. Food was lovely, nice portion size and tasty. Carafe of wine for E12 is very good value! I'll be back again.
