Steak was med to well as requested, friends steak was well done as requested, very well cooked, tasty mash, lovely service, not rushed or fussed. Place is spotless as are the staff well presented, food is very reasonable for what you get. My starter was garlic mushrooms and i was disappointed because it was a small portion but that was easily dismissed because they were really really good, just the right amount it turns out.Just over 40 quid for 2 starters and two steaks (fillet and sirloin) is excellent value in my view.

Osprey Bar
Devoy Quarter, Naas, Kildare

Just 3 pm arrived for a late lunch, ordered eventually after long wait for staff, ordered Madra's chicken curry which was much much closer to a masala than a madras, not a pinch of flavour and i love my corriander. Rice was well cooked but there was too much bits and pieces in it. Anyway the waiter who noticed after 45 mins that we still hadnt recieved our food was a lovely fella. Anyway wont be returning, very expensive for very poor service and below average food. 1 and a half hours from start to finish lunch, lucky we weren't in a rush.

Legends Bar (Lunch Menu) @ The Arlington Hotel
Lord Edward Street, Temple Bar, Dublin

Stopped in here for breakfast one morning (very expensive breakfast) I as usual ordered scambled eggs with my breakfast, to my horror it was or looked like it was microwaves into lumps of yellow and white half whisked egg, it was seriously terrible. The rest of breakfast while not as bad was really quiet bad for the price. I will gladly say i will never eat there again nor would I recommed eating there. Obviously I didnt have dinner or lunch but i'm sure they dont vary much in quality.

Captain America's Cookhouse and Bar (Tallaght)
Unit A3 Tallaght Cross Dublin 24, Tallaght, Dublin

Nicely laid out resturant, trendy decor and clean toilets, had enciladas which were terrible, saturated deep fried (almost) veg stir fry and grizzily beef, all 4 pieces. Baked potato which in fairness was spot on. Nice guy served us until the end when the deal we were supposedly getting was altered. The deal is a student discount of buy one main course get one free which is great, so as there was three of us i decided to get my enchiladas and i asked could I have the chicken wings as my free course, of course you can sir was the reply. So we ate our terrible food and got the bill. He had charged me for both enchiladas and chicken wings so I confrionted him and he replied that the offer only applies to one card per table. On inspection of my Captian America's student card it had no terms and conditions of any kind or reference to terms and conditions. So as a nice guy I paid and left as I could see the guys was getting worried and it was probably coming from the manager. I mean there were shoving these cards in our faces all year in college.Bad bad buisness.

Bollywood Spices (Naas)
1-A Naas Town Centre, Naas, Naas, Kildare

Second time here and yet again delighted with the service, food, selection and price. Why anyone would rates this place as expensive is beyond me. For the lovely surroundings to the excellent serve i have to say well done. We didnt arrive till well after 11 so we were expecting to be rushed out the door (as they shout at 12), no such thing didnt feel hurried at all. As for butter chicken my friend had it and loved it also, everyone who eats here eants on about how good it is. I had a madra's curry and i must say as curries go it was probably the best i ever had. Abondant with individual flavours and the all ad there place. ;-)

The Ballymore Inn
Main Street, Ballymore Eustace, Kildare

Heard about this ''Great!!'' place on the grape vine, sorry to say but this is a big communty hall style cafe/bar which in my opinion is ridiculously over priced. Obviosly stressed out staff because the girl who pounced on us as we walked through the door looked like she had the weight of the world on her shoulders and led us do a dismal central table, we felt like horses in a parade ring. We shared a large wings to start, tasty but hey whats not tasty as a starter at nearly €12.00, i had a ceasar salad at 14.50 husband had a burger and €2.00 worth of cheadar cheese (extra topping) so at that was almost €18.00 and was below average in his opinion. I did try his burger and it wasnt any better than any fast food resturant if anything very dry. Overall the chips were tasty but in the end there just chips and were not worth €4.50 and at 8.50 for dessert we declined because from what we could see they didnt look like €8.50, more like, maybe €5 at most. To finish off its a pub that does food and thats about as good as it gets, had better for a lot, lot less with better service.Way overated. P.s please take note of the the postive reviews as they are very repetitive and are obviously fakes.
