I was a regular in Tribes and to be honest, it hasn't really changed (which I am glad). Gorgeous French food. Staff are really lovely and it's just a lovely place to dine. The manager/owner could crack a smile every now and then :) He is friendly though! Love this place.

My go to spot for a meal which won't let you down. Staff are lovely and they are really accomodating for children. We brought our little one for a meal on a Wednesday evening and we were very impressed. Their early bird is amazing value and we will definitely be back! Rib Eye steak was gorgeous and my Chicken in a mushroom sauce was amazing. Their Desserts are great and I'd love to find out what coffee they use. Yum

Rolys Bistro
7 Ballsbridge Terrace, Dublin, Ballsbridge, Dublin

Lovely restaurant. Simple food but cooked really well. The deal they advertise here is absolutely fantastic. We always buy 5 and bring the whole family (10 of us) and it is a real treat.

Salamanca

Amazing restaurant and no matter how many times I venture into town this is the spot myself and herself go. We get the same thing every time. Stuffed pepper, patatas bravas, chicken in garlic cream, chicken wrapped in parma and the best of all, pork belly! Absolutely fabulous place

Best Steak in Dublin. Amazing sides also. Their Spinach is incredible, sauces great and the steak is good enough to eat on it's own! Definitely the best steak in Dublin

Brambles Cafe - Dundrum

Delightful experience with my child and partner on Sunday. Great food and it was really buzzy too. Lovely meal of Lasagne & gorgeous salad and the sausage rolls were given two thumbs up from my little one. Great coffee too.

Brambles Cafe - Dundrum
Level 2, Dundrum, Dublin

Top notch deli food. Everything is fresh and enjoyable. Bit more expensive then a 'cafe' but this is no ordinary cafe. One thing in particular is the vast amounts of gluten free items they serve. Always a sign of homemade proper food. A real treat to finish off a days shopping.

Le Petit Cochon

Must say this is a gem of a restaurant, real food at real prices. Every time I've been I've had pork belly and it just doesn't get old. Service is friendly and its most certainly a busy spot. Chef seems to take great care in his plates. A special confit duck salad was on last time I was there, delicious. I also recommend the creme brulee. Going again on Friday and I cant wait

Brannigans Dundrum
Dundrum Town Centre Dundrum, Dundrum, Dublin

seriously bad. The food is reheated and not fresh. Its loud and messy and it feels like your in a fast food chain. My gripe however was with a waitress who was seriously rude and didnt listen to our order and got everything wrong. i ordered a bowl of soup and when it came i had no soup spoon. Not annoyed yet i asked the lady for a soup spoon and i got a reply ''will you give me a minute''. Not impressed at all but i kept my patience. She disappeared for a few minutes and walked passed again and i had to ask again. She said nothing, walked away and came back with a spoon and slammed it on my table and walked away. At this stage i had enough. Tasted the soup which was like packet soup. Paid the bill and swore i'd never return

Wongs of Ranelagh
7 Sandyford Road, Ranelagh, Ranelagh, Dublin

Visit here quite reguarily with my girlfriend as we eat out quite a lot. We'd be considered regulars at this stage and service is always excellent. The food is nice, not spectacular but enjoyable. The chicken satay skewers are lovely to start and also we really enjoy the shreded chicken. The shreded duck is absolutely delicious and we have both started ordering this reguarily as a main coarse. One gripe is that silly fake chicken they use in their main coarses. It really bugs me that you pay top money for processed chicken. This is something i feel all chinese restaurants need to address.

The Counter Dundrum
Pembroke District, (adjacent to the Mill Pond at Town Square), Dundrum, Dublin

Not a bad spot to grab a quick bite. Very affordable also. Ive been three times with my girlfriend and have to say service has always been friendly. Yes you wait twenty minutes for your burger, but this is a small price to pay if you are eating fresh food, especially minced meat which can be lethal if undercooked. Have twice got a beef burger and once the chicken burger. The beef burger is better IMO. Onion strips could be cooked more also. This is by no means fine dining or even high quality but for a quick bite it is ideal as it is quite tasty and satisfying. one gripe is the plastic plated which cause your burger to go cold very quickly. Please invest in proper plates and glasses. Overall its not a bad spot to eat.

FXB Monkstown
3a The Crescent Monkstown, South Co. Dublin, Monkstown, Dublin

Have now been here twice and both times it was delicious. Last wednesday i visited here with my girlfriend and my brother and his girlfriend. All four of us really enjoyed our meals. To start, us two lads had soup and the two ladies had garlic mushrooms. All of us really enjoyed the starters. (Although my potato and apple soup had no flavour of apple in it) but was still very tasty, the bread which accompanies it is also delicious. For mains we all had steak. Three fillets and one Sirloin. All were cooked perfectly (one of us was a little awkward and asked for it between medium rare and medium and it came out exactly how he wished which shows a skilled chef) Both us lads opted to add two Oz's to our fillets as we wanted 10 Oz instead of 8 Oz. Think it was €3.20 extra per Oz but it was worth it. I had pepper sauce with my steak as did my girlfriend which was quite peppery, how I like it. The other two got a red wine Jus which to be honest was more of a reduced tomato sauce which they didnt like. We shared sauces which were barely needed as the steaks were lovely and moist. One complaint is the mash potato. Didn't like the mash potato, but we all really enjoyed our meals and will definately be back.

Brambles Café Bistro
102-104 Terenure Road North, Terenure, Dublin

Really enjoyed my latest experience here. Things seem to have been upped in terms of food. The quality of it was second to none. I had a delicious steak which was juicy and char grilled. My other half really enjoyed his sea bream with prawns. Portions were generous and service was friendly. From outside and the décor you expect something expensive, but that's not the case. I see they're doing an Early Bird, 4 courses at €24.95. Ill be availing of that soon!
