Ate here midweek with a group of friends - we were seated downstairs near to the kitchen area - while the place was busy all night, have to say we found it very noisy - the lights kept going on and off near to the kitchen area which was a bit annoying. Toilet area was very grubby on the night - in saying all that, can't fault the food in any way and as always staff were very attentive.

Scotch Bonnet Urban Cafe
4 Church Road, South Co. Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

Our first time to go to the restaurant and have to say we were really impressed with the food and atmosphere, although service was a bit slow - we put it down to it being a busy night, christmas time etc - definitely need a reservation but its was worth it - wings were delicious

Well worth dining at this lovely restaurant - great choice on the menu even for the fussy eaters, presentation was perfect and staff very attentive but not overbearing - will definitely be returning.

Il Sorriso Restaurant
New Street, North Co. Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

We ate here on Saturday and thankfully at late notice they were able to accommodate a group of 10. Have to say it was one of the nicest Italian meals I've had in a long time, great choice on the menu and staff very attentive. No one had desert as we were full from starter and main course but we were very tempted by what was on offer. Will definitely be returning and great value

The Church Cafe Bar & Restaurant
Junction of Mary St. & Jervis St., Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

We decided at the last minute to try the menu at The Church on Sunday as we were in town for the Take That concert. We arrived late afternoon and have to say while the food was lovely, the service was extremely slow. We ordered food in the downstairs restaurant and while it was extremely busy we did not expect to wait over an hour for our food. We complained the first time to the waitress, who told us our food was on the way that there had been a problem in the kitchen, after an hour waiting we asked to see the manager. All he could do was apologise to us for the delay and as a gesture of goodwill the cost of the meal was on the house. It was appreciated by the group of us, but had the staff explained to us the reasons for the delay we would have been happy to wait and enjoy the atmosphere. All in all, good food but be prepared to wait.

Gourmet Food Parlour Ballyboughal
Oldtown Road, Ballyboughal, Ballyboughal, Dublin

This is a lovely place to spend a leisurely afternoon. The coffee shop is ideal for either small or larger groups and it caters for all types of diets, although with the choice of deserts the diets went out the window. The gallery, gift shop are lovely to browse around. The service is efficient and friendly and not rushed at all which is just what we wanted. Its best to book your table to avoid disappointment. Really wish our weather would improve to avail of the lovely outdoor area. Definitely be returning.

Have eaten in Mastersons on a number of occasions and have to say I could never fault it. Booking is essential as on a few occasions its been fully booked and we've gone elsewhere. Great atmosphere, only fault I have is that the table nearest to the door is too near the door. This was raised with the manager and we were given a drink of choice to make up for it.

Restaurant Ten Fourteen
324 Clontarf Road, Clontarf, Dublin

Went here for the first time and have to say I'm very impressed. Staff were very friendly and tentative, Lunch menu although not extensive, has great variety and in times of recession, the restaurant was packed at lunch time for nearly two hours. Well impressed.

New Millennium Chinese Restaurant
51 South King Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We ate here last Sunday before the show in the Gaiety. Perfect as so close and it was lovely. We got the platter for starters and just enough for the 4 of us. Then the main courses were delicious, mainly prawn dishes but no complaints at all. The staff very attentive but not over bearing, highly recommend

Have been going to El Paso for the past number of years. It's ideal for group of friends to catch up, service is great and efficient and we've never once had to complain about any of the dishes and we've tried plenty .. looking forward to the next visit
