I am a regular at Govindas and I can't get bored of ot even though the menu doesn't change often. The food is rich and fresh, portions are very very generous and I would recommend it to both vegeterians and non-vegeterians. I love their use of spices and all dishes except for pastas, which tend to be slightly overcooked. Service is brillilliant and staff helpful and happy. After 5 years of being vegeterian I quit but I won't quit Govindas.

The Old Schoolhouse (Dublin)
Coolbanagher Church Road, North Co. Dublin, Swords, Dublin

One of my favourite places to eat, with more of a restaurant quality that a pub grub. I never had anything I wasn't satisfied with. Probably the best fillet steak I ever had and the most generous portions too. Topped up with a nice service and lovely beer garden. I will be back soon.

Johnnie Fox's Pub
Glencullen, Dublin Mountains, Glencullen, Dublin

The pub is absolutely amazing and I love trips to Johnnie Foxes. The food is usually a little disappointing for its cost and renome of the place. Just your regular pub food only better presented. The vintage decor is fantastic and the fact the place is in such a remote place in the mountains certainly ads to its magic. Worth seeing, at least once.

The Harbour Master Restaurant & Bar
Custom House Dock, I.F.S.C Dublin 1, IFSC, Dublin

I am there regularly with people from work and I like going back. The staff is very nice, even though their reservation book is a mess and they forgot about us on two ocassions. Restaurant part is very modern and cold but pub part has a nice feel to it. They also have a nice smoking area but unfortunately gas heaters broke and never got fixed. Our party usually goes for spicy chicken wings ( the best in Dublin)and chips platter for 10 Euro but other positions (there aren't too many on the menu) are satisfying too. They dropped their prices, which is always a good thing.

O Sheas
19 Talbot Street, City Centre North, Dublin

End of April was probably my last visit over.. It used to be good in O'Sheas.. 6 - 7 years ago. It seems like food is not their concern anymore. Without going into details, I was served food that wasn't freshly prepared and too tough to eat with knife and fork. Have a drink but for God's sake - don't eat there! Although, some of the bar staff are very rude.. Only restaurant staff and manager are polite and pleasant. Whatever happened to O'Sheas?

Iskanders Kebabs
30 Dame Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

This is a review from a kebab lover: I had better, I would rate them 3.5 out of 5. Still hard to resist when passing by around midnight.. Service is great, staff very patient..

The Porterhouse (Parliament Street)
Parliament Street le Bar, Temple Bar, Dublin

One of my favourite food serving pubs in the city centre, with a huge choice of beer, good music and atmosphere. Usually very busy so my friends and me ended up eating at the bar, which didn't bother us much. Food is exactly what it says on the menu. Good spot and I recommend it to beer lovers.

It's a great pub, and yes, they do nice chips...
