Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Great ambience and atmosphere. Friendly staff. Central location. I went for the Swift Lunch for €10. I can definitely recommend the Irish burger with cheddar and chunky chips - very tasty. Would also recommend the Wild Mushroom Tagliatelle. All are served with a tea/coffee or soft drink makes it a very competitive lunch time offering.

TGI Friday (St Stephens Green )
St Stephens Green, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Great place for a birthday party. The Staff really help you enjoy that special day. Went for the €15.99 two course menu. 10% Service charge applies. Slow service. Very busy restaurant and staff were overloaded. Always an excellent cheeseburger and fries as you would expect. A very annoying fire alarm was repeatedly going off on the night. Thankfully it got sorted in the end.

Cactus Jacks (Middle Abbey St)
Millennium Walkway, Middle Abbey Street, City Centre North, Italian Quarter, Dublin

Went here on a Saturday and had the €19.95 early bird deal which covers 3 courses. Great Mexican selection of starters, main courses and deserts. A bottle of house red or white wine is only €10 until 19:30 during the early bird seating (17:30 to 19:30) as far as I know. Nice atmosphere, helpful staff and enjoyed a very nice meal.

Used a voucher for 2 main courses, 2 deserts & 2 x tea/coffee. I went chicken curry and my colleague went for the soup and atlantic salmon. It was 1730 a Monday evening and the service was top class. Noticed while I was there that there is a lunch time €10 meal on a Monday to Friday from 1200 to 1600. Different meal for €10 every day Monday to Friday featuring fish and chips, home made lasagne etc. You can get an optional soft drink for €2 extra. Great location at the junction of O'Connell Street and Abbey Street. Nice atmosphere & great service.

Wagamama - Stephen's Green
St Stephen's Green Centre, South King St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Good location across the way from the Gaiety Theatre in South King Street, a short distance from the entrance to the Stephens Green Centre. Located in the basement with no lift access. Went for the lunch time special for €10 which is valid Mon-Fri from 1200-1500. Fast service. A good menu choice on the lunch time special and it comes with a free drink eg: Rose wine. Went for the Yaki soba myself which on its own costs €12.95 on the regular menu. Seats are benches and you put your jacket and bag under the table in a holding area. A very pleasant experience and very fast service. Green tea and water is complementary. Would certainly recommend going there at lunch time.

Bar 52
52 Middle Abbey Street,, City Centre North, Dublin

Went here on a voucher deal for 2 starters and 2 main courses. Good service throughout. The Staff are overworked, continuously on the go but do an amazing job. Went for garlic mushrooms and a chicken noodle dish. The chicken noodle dish was completely smothered in soya sauce. My partner went for the chicken caesar salad. It had very big pieces of chicken which is not what you expect in a salad. Overall. Good price with the voucher, great service but food not the greatest. Good menu selection however so better luck next time.

Captain America's Cookhouse And Bar
44 Grafton Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went to Captain Americas on a thursday evening. Booked my table in advance through Menu Pages. Lively place with a good atmoshere. Went for a pizza for €12.95 & a Cola for €3 - you get free drink refills so thats a good plus. The €10 lunch time special from 1200 to 1600 for seems to be a better proposition. Will try a burger there next time round.

Limoncello Italian-Sardinian Restaurant
1st Floor Clarence Hotel, Wine Street, Sligo Town, Sligo

Located on the 1st floor of the Clarence Hotel in Wine St, Sligo. Central location. Relaxing classical music, nice chillout ambience. Restaurant is a Sardinian Restaurant & Staff are very friendly. Very quiet business wise for a bank holiday weekend. Myself & my partner can certainly voucher for the pizza's which were authentic Italian. Generous sized glass of wine are €3.95. The restaurant do a special 2 couse menu for €15 approx. Interestingly the restaurant do a 12" take away pizza just like the one I had for €5.95 - thats a very nice price.
