Snaffles Restaurant (Castle Leslie Estate)
Castle Leslie Estate, Glaslough, Monaghan

We dined in Snaffles as part of package for the Castle. Excellent food, excellent staff, but looked pricey. Also we expected to eat in the Castle and whereas Snaffles is nice and modern we would have preferred the settings in the Castle

Harte's Bar & Grill

Had Sunday lunch with a party of 4 adults and one child. I was really impressed to see that children eat free up to 6 o'clock. Great idea. The food was great and the steak on a stone is a must have. Very friendly and attentive staff. Prices are reasonable. Will be back

Excellent food, excellent service but expensive. I was with a large group and did not see the bill details, but the split cost was way more than I expected. Will try it again with a party of two

Excellent seafood restaurant with a great menu for seafood lovers. I had lobster which was top class but a bit expensive. Very friendly and efficient staff. Would love to have an excuse to visit Killarney again and try out some other dishes

This was my third visit to KOH. Lovely restaurant, very well laid out. The food is tasty and well presented. Reasonably priced particularly for lunch. Friendly and attentive staff.

The Cedar Tree
11a St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

One Pico Restaurant
5-6 Molesworth Place, Schoolhouse Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

One of the best restaurants in Dublin. Had lunch there last week and the food was excellent, easily the best lunch I had this year. The staff are friendly and helpful and very effecient. The lunch specials are excellent value for money. Will be back

profile_review

Annamars Restaurant
Station Road, Kildare town, , Kildare Town, Kildare

I used the recent Menupages deal for dinner in Annamars. This is a top class restaurant and I reckon the best in County Kildare. I had fish cakes for starters and venison for mains and both were excellent. The menu is varied and interesting and the wine list suits all pockets. With the Menupages deal this was exceptional value and although normal prices are a bit on the high side, it is worth it for the quality of food served here. Will be back.

Browns Barn Bar and Kitchen
Citywest Exit, Citywest Bridge N7, West Dublin, Saggart, Dublin

Good pub grub. We had the burger and fish and chips. Nothing fancy but good quality pub grub. The specials are really well priced and make this the best stop for a quick bite to eat on the way to or way from Dublin. Effecient and friendly staff

profile_review

Judge Roy Beans
Main Street, Newbridge, Kildare

Was there for lunch. Good pub grub with an intersesting varied menu at reasonable prices. Although there was not many people in the pub, service was very slow

profile_review

Rathsallagh House
Dunlavin, Dunlavin, Wicklow

This is a lovely setting for traditional Sunday lunch. Great buffet starter and then roast beef, pork or lamb or fish pie for mains. Excellent service and a good wine list. At €32.50 its a bit pricey in todays climate.

profile_review

The Boat Inn
Main Street, Oughterard, Galway

Was there for dinner on the 6th and lunch the next day. This is a great pub. The food is really good and the service is outstanding. Small but interesting wine list and very reasonably priced. A must for evrybody visiting Oughterard

profile_review

Ashford House on the Weir Gastro Pub
Ashford House, Ashford, Wicklow

Reall enjoyed a good meal at the Weir on Saturday last. Excellent waiter, seemed to know what we wanted before we asked. Wine in carafes are great value. Interesting menu and more interesting specials. Will be back

profile_review

Taste of Everest
17a Lower Baggot St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Good Indian food at a reasonable price. Staff friendly and very helpful in selecting options. Wine list OK. Was hoping to get Dal Makhani but none available - can't seem to get black Dal anywhere in Dublin. Overall a good experience

profile_review

The Church
Bridge Street, Skibbereen, Cork

Fantastic setting. Very good food at a reasonable price. Wine list is somewhat limited. The service was excellent and our Polish waitress was top class

profile_review

Kennedy's Restaurant @ The West Cork Hotel
Ilen Street, Skibbereen, Cork

Reasonable food at a reasonable price but the service was dreadful. Had to wait one hour for starters to be served and then another hour between starters and main courses

profile_review

Langton House Hotel Kilkenny
69 John Street, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny

Stayed in the hotel and had dinner in the restaurant. Being a Wednesday evening the restaurant was not busy which took away from the atmosphere. Good menu, good food and reasonably priced. Top class house wines. The staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. Overall a lovely evening

profile_review

The Hungry Monk
Church Road, Greystones, Greystones, Wicklow

Ate there with a party of four on Friday last. Staff were very friendly and at times entertaining. Good varied menu with plenty of 'game' options which I particularly like. Interesting wine list with prices to suit all. The food was very good and priced just about right. Overall a very enjoyable meal and we will be back.

profile_review

Fallons Cafe and Bar
Main Street, Kilcullen, Kildare

We arrived at 5pm and could choose from both the lunch menu and the dinner menu. Both were reasonably priced and the children's menu was very impressive. The staff were friendly and efficient and overall the service was very good. Excellent quality food and right sized portions. A good wine list to suit all tastes and pockets

profile_review

Vie de Chateaux
The Harbour, Naas, Kildare

My first time to visit this restaurant. Interesting menu but it's the specials that really stand out. Excellent food and very well presented. Friendly, attentive staff provide a top class service. The wine list is good but a bit pricey. Restaurants (even high class French restaurants) should provide a house wine for around €20. The restaurant is small and tables are a bit too close together, but the quality of the food and the staff service make up for this. Will definitely be back.

profile_review

ely gastro bar
Grand Canal Square, (Next to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre), Dublin 2, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin

Great location, next to the Grand Canal Theatre. Excellent service from very friendly staff. Good quality food all round including food from the childrens memu. Wine list limited and pricey. But will be back on next visit to the theatre

profile_review

Saba
26-28 Clarendon Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Very busy restaurant, we had no reservation but they managed to fit us in (party of 5) for a pre-theatre dinner. Excellent menu and very good wine list. Spice levels to suit all tastes. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and effecient. Overall a very good experience and I will be back

profile_review

Danny Minnie's
Annagry, The Rosses, Crolly, Donegal

Nice restaurant with a good atmosphere. Very busy but the staff coped well and were friendly and attentive at all times. On the negative side it is very expensive and for the prices charged I expected better. The standard menu is disappointing and there should be more specials. The food is good but not exceptional.

profile_review

An Chúirt
Gaoth Dobhair, Gweedore, Donegal

The food is OK and the wine list reasonable, but fixed price dinner in the restaurant is too expensive. Should be €10 less.

profile_review

Spice Indian Restaurant Kildare
Over Cunninghams Pub, Main Street, Kildare Town, Kildare

The best thing about this restaurant is the price. The mid week special at 39.95 for three courses for two people and a bottle of house wine is exceptional. Best in country. Having lived in India for over four years (north India and south India) we are very fussy about our Indian food. The food here is good but there are better Indian restaurants in Ireland but not at this price. We were offered mild, medium or hot spice levels. Thankfully we opted for hot as this this turned out to be mild by our standards. This is understandable as Indian restaurants have to cater for the Irish tolerance (or lack of) for spices. The staff were friendly and effecient and we will most certainly be back.

profile_review

Boss Byrnes Bar and Restaurant
Canal View, Sallins, Kildare

Ate at this restaurant on Friday last afer a few pints. Good variety of food on the menu, all starters €5.00 and most mains €10. The quality is not great but it's the type of place that's worth visiting for a quick meal after drinks.

profile_review

Greenacres Restaurant
Selskar, Wexford, Wexford Town, Wexford

This is a top class restaurant and as good as the best in Ireland. Great menu and exceptional specials. Very helpful staff, knowledgeable on the food and the wine. You can choose from the excellent wine list or choose any wine for the vast collection in the store and pay only €5 corkage. Other restuarants should take note. You should find an excuse to visit Wexford just to eat in this restaurant. Will be back early in the new year.

profile_review

Vine Restaurant
109 North Main Street, Wexford Town, Wexford

Spent a few days in Whites of Wexford. Was told to try this restaurant. Had the early bird, €23.50 for starter, main, glass of wine and coffee. Excellent Thai food. Would highly recomment the spare ribs and the green curry. Very friendly and effecient staff. Will visit again

profile_review

Eleven West Restaurant
11 West Beach, Cobh, Cork

Very good restaurant. Interesting menu for those who like to try something different and at the same time has the old reliables. Friendly staff and a reasonable wine list. Overall a very good experience

profile_review

Little Caesars (Harcourt Street)
The Harcourt Hotel, 59 Harcourt Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Had dinner before a show in the NCH. The Early bird is very good. Great value at 12.95 for 3 courses and a good choice of starters and mains. Friendly, attentive staff and a great place for a pre-theatre meal. Will be back.

profile_review

Little Caesars Pizza (City Centre)
5 Balfe Street, Near Westbury Hotel, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Dropped in for a quick bite to eat. Had mains (pasta) only. We were made welcome when we entered the restaurant and seated immediately. The service was fast. The pasta was good. The price was OK. But the waitress was not very friendly and was somewhat abrupt. A smile and a little chat would do no harm

profile_review

Hanged Man's
Milltown, Newbridge, Kildare, Newbridge, Kildare

I was a frequent visitor to this restaurant but for some reason I did not eat there during the past 10 months or so. I was very surprised to read some bad reviews on MenuPages.ie and am delighted to say that last Saturday I revisited and this restaurant is as good as ever. Friendly, attentive staff. Excellent food and a good wine list. The prices are reasonable and the early bird is very good value. Will not be as long before I visit again.

profile_review

Harrigans Bar & Restaurant
Main Street, Newbridge, Kildare

The special offer here is not to be missed. 2 courses for two people plus a bottle of house white or red for just under €50. I had tiger prawns and lamb shank and my wife had ribs and Thai green curry with chicken and a bottle of very good Chilean SB. The food was top class and the service the same. I would recommend that you make a reservation and this is a busy restaurant. I would also recomend to the management that they link up with the Riverbank Theatre (across the road) and offer pre-theatre dinners.

profile_review

The Black Sheep
Schull, Schull, Cork

Good pub grub with a good selection of sea food which is to be expected in a coastal town. Friendly and effecient staff. Reasonably priced.

profile_review

Blairscove Restaurant
Durrus, Bantry, Co.Cork, Bantry, Cork

Went for the early bird. It was 10 years since I last ate in Blairs Cove and I though that the buffet was bigger then. However, the quality of the buffet is still excellent. We had a really nice meal, served by friendly staff. The wine list is somewhat limited but satisfied our needs. Overall a good exoerience, but a bit pricey in the current climate.

profile_review

Bunratty Inn
Main Street, Schull, Cork

Good pub grub at a reasonable price. Friendly staff and a good pint of Guinness. Perfect spot for lunch on a sunny day

profile_review

Newhaven(La Coquille)
Schull, Schull, Cork

This is an interesting but somewhat confusing restaurant. Standing on the street reading the standard menu would not attract you in. But when you go inside and see the specials on the blackboard, it is a wow. Excellent seafood at a very reasonable price and cooked to perfection. Friendly and effecient service. The wine list is adequate and should be expanded to match the quality of the food. I would strongly recomment to the management to change the standard menu. This menu does not read as good as the local pubs, whereas the restaurant is one of the best in West Cork

profile_review

Wicklow Heather
Laragh, Glendalough, Wicklow

Had an excellent lunch at this restaurant on Saturday last. Great menu, great service and reasonably priced. Will be back for Sunday lunch

profile_review

Hugo's Restaurant at Druids Glen Resort
Druids Glen Resort, Newtownmountkennedy, Wicklow

This is a nice family restaurant and a good place to dine out with your kids. The food is good and reasonably priced. The wine list should satisy most diners needs. Excellent service from very friendly staff

profile_review

Victoria Garden Asian Cuisine
Johnstown, Naas, Kildare

Dropped in on the way home from Croke Park on Saturday last with a party of 5. Very good Asian restuarant. Huge menu. I had frogs legs in salt and chilli for a starter followed by an excellent Thai green curry. This was a good as you would get in Bangkok. Good wine list. Staff very helpful and friendly. Great place to try out different Asian dishes. I would highly recomment this restaurant

profile_review

The Brown Bear
Two Mile House, Naas, Kildare

Was there with a party of 4 for Sunday lunch. Good selection on lunch menu and well priced. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. It was a bit noisy because of the number of children there, but that's to be expected for Sunday lunch. Overall a good experience

profile_review

Hoky Poky Coffee Shop
Charlotte Mall, Charlotte Street, Newbridge, Kildare

Convenient for a quick lunch in Newbridge. All you would expect to find in a deli type restaurant. Best Club Sandwich in Ireland

profile_review

Ristorante Morsiani - Closed
1 Fitzwilliam Square, Wicklow Town, Wicklow

With party of 3 for lunch on June 26. Each of us had one main course. This is a nice restaurant with friendly staff. The food is good and reasonably priced. The wine list is adequate. Overall a good experience

profile_review

The Italian Connection
95 Talbot Street, City Centre North, Dublin

Had dinner, main courses only, before West Life concert. Excellent pasta and house white is very drinkable. Fast, effecient, friendly service and reasonably priced. Their pasta is excellent. Will be back

profile_review

Basilico Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria
Oranmore, Main Street, Coach House Hotel, Oranmore, Galway

Was there on Saturday June 12 with a party of 8. Very good menu with additional specials. What you would expect from a good Italian restaurant. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. We had a French waiter, who was witty, charming and very effecient. He really added to the enjoyment, particularly for the ladies. No sign of the recession in this restaurant. It was very busy all evening, so would strongly recomment that you make a reservation. Will definitely be back.
