Cactus Jacks (Middle Abbey St)
Millennium Walkway, Middle Abbey Street, City Centre North, Italian Quarter, Dublin

Went for the early bird option and was very impressed. The meatballs were very nice, with a lovely sauce. The Burger was really nice. Very big, and hard to get through, but that is not a bad thing. Some places only give a small burger. Only complaint I would have is that the waiters were getting a bit of cross wires. I wanted a beer instead of wine with the early bird offer, and one said it was ok, while another said it wasnt. Would go again though as the food is very good.

Salamanca
1 St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went for a meal with the girlfriend, and it was the first time coming here. The waitress was very helpful explaining what most people get. I got the chicken in white wine and garlic sauce, amazing. Also got the meatballs which were very nice as well. The gf got the prawns, which were whole which she was a bit freaked out by. The chips with chorizo were very nice. Nice pint of beer, and would definately go again

Salamanca Fusion
38 - 40 Parliament Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here with the girlfriend for the earlybird before going to the cinema. Amazing value. I had the soup to start which was lovely. The steak was amazing. I love a rib eye and it was cooked exactly how I like it. The chips and red wine sauce were lovely as well. The brown soda bread ice cream was good, if not spectacular, but we will go again. the gf thought the chicken skewers were in need of a bit more sauce, while there was almost too much in her main of the pasta.

The Counter Suffolk Street
20 Suffolk Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Heard great things about this place so I went last Saturday with my girlfriend. You can't help but be spoiled for choice. The amount of burgers you can make is unreal. If you go with someone, a side portion of chips will be enough for 2. We both got the Garlic, parmesan and rosemary fries, but we only got through half each. The burgers are amazing. I had the chicken, with coleslaw, bacon, spring onion, cucumber and garlic mayo. They do a proper pint as well.

Siam Thai (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin

Myself and my girlfriend dropped in after shopping in Dundrum Centre and we got the early bird menu. Great Value. I had the Flambe duck, which was incredible. Couldn't have been cooked any better. We will go again.

The Cedar Tree
11a St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Have been twice over the last 4 months, and both times, I could not fault the food. I had never tried Lebanese food before, so we got the tapas menu, with a mixture, and there was plenty for us, whether it was for 2 of us, or 4 when I went again. Very nice.

The Real Gourmet Burger - Dun Laoghaire
The Pavilion, South Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Some of the best burgers ya can get in Dublin. I had the Lamb Special which was just beautiful. Will gladly go again. And they are now delivering, which is all the better. The rosemary chips are delicious as well.

Rasam
18-19 Glasthule Road, South Co. Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Absolutely brillant restaurant. The food is top notch and a nice looking place as well. My girlfreind and I shares the platter for starters before I had the lamb shank for mains. It was as good a lamb shank as I have ever had and would recommend it to anyone who is going to this restaurant. The only thing I could find fault with was the limited number of beers available, but what they did have was quite nice. Will go again.

Purple Ocean Restaurant
St Michael's Pier, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Went with my girlfriend for my birthday. Was very impressed with the food. The fish cakes to start were gorgeous, while the sea bass as a main was perfectly cooked to my liking. The staff were friendly, as the restaurant was quite empty, but they didnt bother us too much which was great. Would go again without too much persuasion.

Princess Garden of Lucan
Esker Hill, Lucan, Lucan, Dublin

I have been here a few times and it is one of my favourite chinese restaurants in Dublin. The food is always fresh from the buffet, and for the amount it costs, it is money well spent. Would highly recommend it for big parties that are lookin for great food at cheap prices. Only thing is that its a little bit out of the way for some people.

Jimmy Chungs
Eden Quay, City Centre North, Dublin

I ate here with a friend a littlw while ago. We wanted to go for a bit of food so decieded to come in here for the buffet. I was pleased with the choice of food aavailable, but some of the food wasnt as fresh as it could have been. Now we went in at a time when there wasnt that many people there so there was no need to be getting fresh food out every few minutes. I may go again on a saturday night and see how the food is on a busy night.

The Bank on College Green
20-22 College Green, City Centre South, Dublin

I was here during the week, and was not bowled over by the food. I love the bar, its a great place to go to for a few drinks, but maybe not for food. I had the half chicken and chips. There was very little gravy with it, and ya need a decent amount of gravy to have with it. Also, the chunky chips were not cooked all the way through which was a bad sign. I will definitely go back again for a few drinks but may not eat there.

Ananda
Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

I went here with my girlfriend two weeks ago and was blown away by the quality of restaurant that this was. The service was extremely firendly and curteous, the food was phenomenal and the whole restaurant is beautifully decorated and layed out. It is on the pricey side, but for what you get, it is worth it. My girlfriend and I will definately go again, as a treat. It would be too much to just decide to go for the sake of it, but would strongly recommend it.

Tamara Restaurant
Unit 11/18 Belgard Square, Tallaght Town Centre, West Dublin, Tallaght, Dublin

I went there last weekend for my graduation dinner. The food was absolutely gorgeous. You cannot find a fault with that at all. Myself and my girlfriend shared the Chinese platter to start which had a good variety, and plenty of food for the pair of us. My mains was a beef curry and it was one of the best curries that I've ever had. I was a bit disappointed with the desserts as there was just the standard frozen desserts in a Chinese restaurant. My problem with the restaurant was that the staff was not very friendly. When asking about the beers that they had, the waiter named them all in about 2 seconds, and there was a good few of them. Then they were almost shouting when they bringing out the food, even though it was not that loud. I would go again for the food, but the service would have to be improved.

The Morgue
Main St, Templeogue Village, Templeogue, Dublin

I ate here with a lad from work here on Friday for lunch. I was impressed with the food. I had the carvery lunch, having the turkey and ham. There was plenty to eat for €12.50, so was ok price wise. Would go again

Choices Restaurant
Main Street, Dublin 24, Tallaght, Dublin

I went here a few weeks ago with my girlfriend. The food was very nice. I had a chicken stir fry which was really tasty and my girlfriend has a beef curry. She really liked hers and we would go here again.

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Came here for a night out with the girlfriend and we were rushed through our meal, which was not worth the money that it cost. We had planned on having a nice relaxing meal, but upon arrival we were told we had to be out in just over an hour. This meant that we were always wary of being told, sorry we need the table. The food was nice, but for the prices that they are, you would expect a better quality.

F.X. BUCKLEY Steakhouse Crow Street
2 Crow Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

This place does does some of the nicest steaks you will ever have. I had the fillet steak when I was taken out for my birthday. Wasn't too impressed with the rest of the menu, but the steak more than made up for it, and if you are going to a steakhouse, that is what you want.

The Woolshed Baa & Grill
Parnell Street, The junction of Jervis street and Parnell street., City Centre North, Dublin

Great bar food and finger food. For my leaving party from work, we went to here and I ordered the large party platter and the food was gone in five minutes, and you got loads for your money. We all devoured the food, and was very impressed by it.

The Terenure Inn
96 Terenure Road North, Terenure, Dublin

I went here for my dad's 50th birthday for food before having a few drinks. Was not impressed with the food at all. I ordered the garlic bread which was cold and wet, and just not appetising at all. The chicken in pasta for the main course was way too spicy. My mouth was on fire for the rest of the evening. Would not go again.

The Halfway House
Walkinstown Road, Walkinstown, Dublin

Great lunch food at good prices. Well worth a visit if you live in and around the area and want to go for lunch. Would recommend it to anyone.

The Porterhouse (Central)
45-47 Nassau Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Nice pub food. Ya can't really go wrong eating here. Often went in on a Saturday for a few drinks and to have a bite to eat and have never been disappointed with the food. The burgers are really nice.

profile_review

Eddie Rockets (O Connell Street)
O' Connell Street, City Centre North, Dublin

I am brought here by the girlfriend every now and again and I dread going to the place. The food is always close to burnt and it just isn't worth the price that ya have to pay.

profile_review

The Grand Central Cafe Bar
O'Connell Street, O'Connell St, Dublin

I really like this pub, and often find myself going in there for a bite to eat with a few of them from my old job. The food is lovely and always fresh. The only thing I would say about the place thats bad is that the prices are on the higher side. That can be down to being in town, but the food is worth it.

profile_review

Tante Zoes
1 Crow Street, Temple Bar, Temple Bar, Dublin

Food is wonderful, if not a bit over priced. I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday as we had been here before and liked it a lot. They do a lovely sea bass which is cooked to perfection, with a lovely sauce. Be prepared to break out the wallet as the prices are a bit on the high side, but a great place to go for anniversaries or birthdays if ya want a special place

Mandarin House
179 Parnell Street, City Centre North, Dublin

I used to work in the Ilac Centre and would sometimes head to here for lunch. The food was absoluely gorgeous. I would get a take out as I didnt have long to take. The ribs from here are the nicest ribs that I have ever had and they are always fresh. I have never had a bad meal from it and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice meal in town.

Bistro One
3 Brighton Road, Foxrock Village, South Dublin, Foxrock, Dublin

I went here with the people from work, as one of the girls was getting married. The boss knows the owner so we were well looked after by all the staff who put on champagne and all. The food was gorgeous, for what there was of it. The portions were quite small, and for the prices they were, I was a bit disappointed. I had the fish and chips for the main course but the fish was two small little fillets that I felt were like fish fingers. As I wasn't paying for the meal, I shouldnt be complaining, but I would not go with my girlfriend or family, as I do not think it would be worth it.

profile_review

Kestrel House
Walkinstown Cross, Walkinstown, Dublin

Lovely food at good prices. We usually go here on a Friday and its never really disappointed. They were meant to have gotten a new chef a while ago which made the food a lot nicer, and cannot complain about it. Would recommend the food to anyone who is looking for a nice lunch at a reasonable price.

The Submarine
Crumlin Cross, Crumlin, Dublin

Really nice pub and a great place to go to watch the football. I go here for lunch every now and again, and there's a great choice of food, which is all very nice. Only thing that I could say as a negative is that it is a bit dearer than some of the other local places, though the food is worth it.

profile_review

Bakers Corner
Kill Avenue, Kill O’The Grange, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

I've eaten here a couple of times and the food has always been very nice. My girlfriend and I would go for the carvery lunch, and the food is gorgeous. Great choice for food, and some of the best pub grub I've had. The staff are all very nice and pleasant which all leads to a very nice place.

Joels Restaurant
Newlands Cross, Naas Road, West Dublin, Clondalkin, Dublin

I have been to Joels on a number of occasions and, even though some people have been down on the place in the last while, i never find any problems with the food or service. My family and I went for my dad's birthday a few months ago on mother's day weekend so there was a lot of groups. We were lucky to get two tables together instead of waiting on one for all of us. The food was gorgeous, and the staff were both extremely nice and even came over to sing happy birthday to my dad. I would easily go to Joels and have no problem recommending it to friends.

profile_review

Messrs Maguire
O'Connell Bridge, Burgh Quay, City Centre South, Dublin

I used to come here a lot with my girlfriend for dinner every now and again after work and really enjoyed the food. We have now gone off the place as the food has gone seriously downhill. Still a nice place to go for a drink but I won't be having the food from there unless something changes in the near future.

Bits and Pizzas
15 Patrick Street, Dun Laoghaire, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

I went here on Saturday night with my girlfriend. She had a voucher from this website to use and I was impressed by the place. We were well greeted and offered our choice of seat. The food was very nice. I had the chicken wings, which came with a lovely cucumber dip, and a pizza as the main course. The pizza was very filling but lovely. She had the mushrooms to start and the mushrooms and chicken with pasta as her main, and enjoyed them both. In terms of value for money, it was very food. Three courses and drinks for both coming to less than €70. Would gladly go again
